Very friendly and caring staff. The management can be better and more connected and responsible to parents. The only downside bit about management until now is the reluctance of charging and charging according to the attendance pattern. I gave two months' notice for a change of hours to happen and the
manager was so unhelpful and even now, not sure if what I requested will be honoured. The same situation is valid for booking holidays, even if they are for a long time, like a month. I am not happy to pay the cost of a month's childcare when we are away on holiday. Thank you for reading this, I hope measures can be taken.

Toad Hall Chessington is a lovely, friendly and welcoming nursery. The staff have been helpful and supportive in assisting my daughter to settle into her first childcare setting. They provide fun and educational activities related to special days and events. They show genuine, individual care for each
child every day, which helps me feel confident in leaving my child there.

My daughter started at Toad Hall in 2020 and enjoys her days at nursery. It’s lovely to see how much progress she has made throughout her time at Toad Hall. She gets given the opportunity to take part in activities I wouldn’t be able to carry out at home and I like the fact they have a private garden
where they are able to get out and enjoy some time outside. During her time at nursery, she is offered a morning snack and a hot lunch to follow, then is able to have a sleep in time for me to collect her early afternoon. The staff work well as a team and knowing how happy she is at nursery is all a parent could ask for. The communication is great between staff and management and I get daily feedback on how she has been throughout the day.

My son started nursery in September 2021. When I go there is a warm feeling, all the staff are friendly. I always feel comfortable and safe leaving my son. The staff are incredibly lovely and patient with the babies. I have full confidence in them when I leave my little one in the mornings. Great learning
place. I couldn’t have chosen a better nursery. Thank you very much; my son loves you all!

My daughter loves the nursery and the staff are so lovely. They do lots of different activities throughout the year to develop their learning. My daughter has made lots of friends at the nursery. They have nice spacious gardens and they have very nutritious meals.

My grandson has attended Toad Hall since he was four months old. He absolutely loves nursery and often talks about it. (He's almost 3 now.) He shows us the songs and dances he has learnt. A fantastic environment for children.

Since my child has started at the nursery, all staff have been very welcoming and attentive. They are very approachable and much care is given to deal with any concerns or queries that you may have. My child is always so happy to go to nursery in the morning and always comes home with a big smile on
his face. This is mainly due to the high level of attention/engagement that he receives and the wide variety of activities on offer to him. I am very happy with the progress that he has made throughout his time at Toad Hall and wish to thank the lovely ladies for their support on his nursery journey.

My son has been attending Toad Hall since he was 6 months old and now is preparing for his journey to school. I couldn't thank the staff enough for everything they have done for us as a family. They are very friendly polite and approachable. I would definitely be sending my second child to this nursery.

As a parent of a lockdown baby, I was very anxious about my son starting at Toad Hall Nursery Chessington as he had no previous interaction with other children or adults. From his first settle, my son felt happy and comfortable due to the staff in the baby room. They are so welcoming, have a great attitude
and my son loves his key worker! I enjoy reading the communication book everyday and getting handovers on how well his day has been. I couldn’t as for a better experience for my son, my mind has been completely put at ease.

He is getting toilet trained, his speech is coming on fantastically.
The staff are loving and friendly.

My son started the nursery just over a week ago and has settled so well with the staff in the baby room. Being a new mum, there are always worries about your child. Both management and the staff in the room have made me feel at ease with settles during the pandemic. The staff are all very welcoming
as they do their daily handover. Activities are planned to meet the needs and interests of every child. Would definitely recommend!

We have been so happy with Toad Hall. Being a new mum in the pandemic was really hard, and so going back to work amongst the restrictions and handing my little one over was even harder. I was made to feel so safe and welcome by the staff, and the transition was much easier than I could have hoped for!
(The little gift of teabags, biscuit and tissues helped on our first day too)!


The staff at Toad hall are fantastic, and the facilities are excellent. I have been amazed at how much my daughter has come along, her motor skills and speech are getting better each day, and I think this is down to the engagement she has at nursery. Her confidence and social skills are also really improving as a result of her time spent at Toad Hall.


I think that communication with parents is excellent. We receive lots of emails to tell us what the children have been up to in the days, as well as 1:1 detailed handovers each day and the communications book, which really helps if you are in a rush.

Our son has recently started at Toad Hall.
From the moment we were shown around, we knew it was the right setting for him (and us). All the staff have been great, whether it’s been over the phone or in person, they are all very professional, and nothing is to much trouble. The room supervisor has been
so helpful and really made his first few days welcoming and homely. Due to Covid, there was a delay in starting (our choice), it was dealt with amazingly. We feel happy knowing our son is in safe and happy hands every day.
Would highly recommend Toad Hall.

Our son has been attending Toad Hall nursery for three months now, and he has seemed comfortable and happy there since his very first week.
Toad Hall has a very personal feel to it, all the staff not just in his room, but throughout the nursery seem to know our son's name and a little bit about him
and what he's like. They have also been very accommodating of requests we've made to adapt his schedule.
It's really nice hearing about the activities he gets up to, and we really enjoy bringing home some of the crafts he makes to see and keep.
We're very happy with the service provided by Toad Hall and would recommend it to anyone.

I have two children who attend this nursery, both of whom settled in very quickly. Both children have benefitted so much from attending. The standard of care, education and socialisation is excellent. My eldest is in preschool and has great relationships with the staff and the other children. He has

My husband and I liked Toad Hall Nursery the first time we visited it before our daughter was born. The environment is warm and welcoming and the staff is very friendly.
Every day we receive feedback on activities that our daughter has done and she looks happy when she is there. She also likes the
food a lot!

With over a decade dedicated to early childhood education, starting as a Nursery Apprentice, I've grown into my role as Nursery Manager, always driven by a passion for creating nurturing spaces where all children can flourish.
