Toad Hall Nursery Chessington

The nursery has improved massively over the past year, and it really shows. The pre-school room is fantastic - calm, well-organised, and full of engaging activities. My child is genuinely happy here and comes home excited about their day. It's been wonderful to see such a positive change.

We could not be happier with our decision to send our daughter, Kim, to this wonderful nursery. It truly is a great place that feels like a second home for her. Every single day, she is greeted with warmth, and she has thrived so much since starting here.A huge part of what makes this nursery so special is the amazing manager Nakita - Her exceptional skills, leadership, and genuine passion for early years education shine through in everything she does. She is always approachable, highly professional, and deeply invested in the well-being and development of every child.The staff are fantastic, the environment is stimulating and safe, and the communication with parents is excellent. We are incredibly grateful to the entire team for giving Kim such a positive, joyful, and nurturing start in life. I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for top-tier care!

Their chef makes some fantastic meals and they have so many activities to keep them busy, my daughter is always so happy after nursery.

My daughter has attended Toad Hall since she was 10 months old. She is now in her final year in the pre-school room, and I am so happy with the team. The nursery has a warm, friendly atmosphere, and I feel at ease when I go off to work, knowing my daughter will have a great day. Tracey and Taylor have had a huge impact on my daughter's development, and I can see a real difference since she has been in their care. The management team, Nikita & Amy are fantastic, always greeting us and keeping us updated. I would definitely recommend Toad hall

The nurse is very clean and the food is nutritious. She gets to try variety of things and gets along so well with other children there.

The nursery has changed massively over the last few months, the staff all seem very happy now and there's a great atmosphere when you walk in. The changes to the building itself as-well make a huge difference. I'm so glad we met Nikita and now know my son Charlie will thrive at Toad-hall.

I love Toad Hall Chessington and so does my daughter, the team there lead by Nakita and Amy are wonderful. It's so reassuring that not only does my daughter gets to learn through play but she is so cared for. What I love about the Toad Hall team is the warmth and kindness they show not only to the children through all their big feelings as they grow, but actually to us parents, who are juggling lots of competing priorities. I am so happy we made the decision 12 months ago to choose Toad Hall. Thank you Nakita, Amy, Tracey, Taylor, Adam and Chelsea never underestimate the difference you make

The staff that work there clearly care about every child and it shows as my children are so happy when I drop them off. The newest additions to management, Amy and Nakita are wonderful and always willing to listen and help. My daughter recently moved up to pre-school and loves being with Tracey. I feel totally at ease knowing my children are happy and cared for each day.

My granddaughter has been attending this nursery for over a year and she loves to tell me all about it and how much fun she has there. She loves her key person and has made several friends. I have collected her myself a couple of times and I like the homely and friendly feel.

My daughter has been going to toad hall chessington for the last 2 and half years. She has absolutely loved every minute. Staff are always so kinds and very comforting to the children especially when they are feeling upset. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

The new app needs some work or getting used to so would be better utilised for consistent updates but it's early days so constantly improving.

My wife and I are constantly kept updated with her progress and goals she is meeting.

Gets is outstanding

They do different activities everyday and the older children goes to forest school during term time.

My daughter on 14 separate occasions has returned with excrement on her where the staff have continually failed to clean her properly. I have tried to resolve this multiple times, unsuccessfully. The last time we had to take my daughter to the GP as we noticed blood in her dirty knickers. The GP advised it was probably where she was left sitting in it for so long. I had to demand a meeting with the regional manager who said some of their staff struggle with when the most basic of tasks; and despite assurances, it has happened again. I will be reporting them to Ofsted for failing to provide the most basic of care for my child and I will ensure inform all of this inadequate provision.

As soon as I viewed Toad Hall, it felt like the school where my little boy was back home. My little boy has grown leaps and bounds since starting at Toad Hall, and that can only be testament to the love, care and support that he receives from his teachers and the wider team. He is eating well, making new friends and is such a happy little man. Thank you!

The nursery is always clean and tidy, staff are friendly and professional, and most importantly the kids in all the classrooms seem like they’re having a really nice time. Classrooms and gardens are segregated by age and this works really well, as there’s no danger of little kids being knocked over by older children.

My son started in Butterflies in January 2023 and has gone from strength to strength. He absolutely loves being dropped off and the staff are so lovely with him. After some initial teething issues, I am now extremely happy he is settled in and well looked after. He is learning so many new skills and I’m sure this is down to being encouraged every day by the staff at Toad Hall - in particular his key worker. I now feel happy dropping him off knowing he’s going to have a great day and learn lots of new skills whilst having the best time

Lovely and welcoming staff. The nursery has a cosy atmosphere. They have all been very patient with my little one who started nursery in January 2023. He has improved so much since. I highly recommend them.
