Brinds Well Day Nursery (Orpington)

Absolutely love Brinds Well Day Nursery. They go above and beyond to make sure kids are looked after as well as go out of their way to accommodate any requests from parents. My son started going to nursery about a month ago and he has enjoyed every minute of it. Although he only goes to nursery three days a week, he has already fully settled. His key person has been an amazing support and I cannot thank her enough for the care she provides to him. He absolutely adores her. Thank you.

We have been really happy over the last three years and the team has been extremely helpful in supporting our son's development. We always felt there were transparent procedures, listening to our needs and the staff were always very kind and approachable. We will be really sad seeing our son leave Brinds Well Day Nursery soon to start school in September.

My child has been at the nursery for 3 years. The space is fantastic and certain members of staff are brilliant, especially those working in the rooms. However there is a high turnover of staff which is quite unsettling for the children once they form bonds with their keyworkers. Mainly however the admin and office management has been constantly disappointing. The overall central communications and operational management is inefficient and lets down the nursery. In these 3 years, we have never had any contact or communication from the parent reps in any of the rooms so the link between management and parents is weak and it is difficult to provide constructive feedback directly in a way that is heard/accepted. Parents leave their precious children here so we of course want the nursery to perform well. Brinds Well has the potential to be outstanding if the management improves.

Our son has only been attending this nursery since the beginning of the year but our experience thus far has been excellent. The staff in his room, and particularly his key person, have already got to know him very well and nourish his development and interests through a variety of activities. We love that his room opens out directly to an outside space (as our son loves being outside). We also love that you can drop-them-off/pick-them-up directly from their room which enables you to see them ‘in-action’, as opposed to from a common entrance/corridor space (because you are not allowed in their room), as was the case at his previous nursery. Out of hours workshops and resources are also a unique plus. We look forward to watching our son continue to grow and flourish at Brinds Well!

The staff are fabulous, the meals the children get served are really varied and nutritious, and the activities have helped our child develop in leaps and bounds. The nursery has a lovely family feel to it. Would highly recommend!

We’ve really enjoyed seeing our boys grow and thrive whilst being at Brinds Well. They enjoy being at nursery every day and you can see this as they run into the rooms and are always laughing and smiling when we collect. The staff are all super friendly and personal. They all know every child’s name and are really enthusiastic when they provide a summary of what the kids have been up to during the day.

As a whole family, we are so pleased with Brinds Well, I have absolute confidence dropping my son off that he will receive first-class care during his time there. He happily runs in to play with his friends, his key worker and staff make the environment really warm and friendly, his learning has rocketed and the attention given to his specific interests is invaluable. There is nothing I would change, it’s a wonderful environment for children to thrive in.

The staff is quite hardworking, friendly and well managed. They take very good of the children. The daycare environment gives positive vibes and children seem to be happy there. Overall good and quite a positive experience.

We were so apprehensive about our son starting nursery, as our firstborn, but my husband and I have been so impressed with the experience so far. The nursery was brilliant at organising initial settle sessions, and whilst our son isn’t old enough to tell us he loves his days at nursery, we can see he does from the photos, videos and the odd chance we can see him playing before he spots us at pick up (which is so special). He clearly has so much fun! The staff are so kind, caring and reliable, and the menu and activities are so varied. The premises are beautiful, and are, in my view, the nicest nursery in the area in terms of big, bright spacious areas. The nursery is extremely thorough with regards to accidents, and medication, and they always give detailed daily feedback on how our son has been that day. The app is also lovely to see insights into our son’s day. We also love the weekly newsletters. Overall, it is a wonderful, family-orientated nursery, highly recommended!

My son attends full-time, he enjoys it very much and is very stimulated. The care and development for my son is brilliant, they always have a variety of activities each day which makes him happy to attend each day. There is also a variety of food and food allergens are well met by the kitchen staff. All staff are very friendly at Brinds Well Day Nursery, I feel it's a very safe and happy environment for children. I am so very happy my son attends and I would highly recommend to anyone.

Our son has thrived at Brinds Well and surprises us every day with his development. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough and our daughter will be joining in the spring.

We don’t doubt Brinds Well is the best place for him. He is well looked after, happy and prepared for school too.

We feel so supported at Brinds Well Day Nursery. Not only are we 100% comfortable, our children are getting the best possible care and early life education, we also feel the warmth from staff each day we pick up and drop off. They run a great nursery and keep up with their communication to parents, as well as all the other requirements upon them. They are responsive and helpful throughout and we have seen both our children develop beautifully under their care. We couldn't be happier.

Our experience with Brinds Well has been nothing short of exceptional. The dedicated staff's level of care for our baby has been truly heartwarming. From the nurturing environment to the engaging activities tailored for little ones, it's evident that the key persons are passionate about fostering a positive and enriching experience. Our baby's days are filled with laughter, learning, and a sense of belonging, thanks to the thoughtful and well-planned activities. We feel grateful to have found a nursery that prioritises both the well-being and development of our little one. We couldn't be more pleased.

Fantastic staff who take a genuine interest in the development and wellbeing of our son. He has definitely benefited from his time at Brinds Well and clearly enjoys going. The people, facilities and variety of activities on offer (along with the excellent food menu) make it a fantastic environment. The attention to the various milestones and his personal progression is much appreciated, as is the open and friendly dialogue we’ve had with the management/reception teams and the staff in each room (Caterpillars, Ladybirds and Bumblebees so far).

We’re kept informed of not only his daily progress/behaviour/milestones, but the nursery responds to emails quickly and are really helpful in answering any questions we have. They keep parents well informed of nursery events/day closures and always give plenty of notice; it’s run really efficiently.

The staff are very caring. The entire nursery helps children and families to thrive and is extremely friendly to working women. They make an extra effort to meet second language learning and to cater to food allergies.

Brindswell is simply fantastic. As a mother of a child with multiple allergies I am confident that my child is safe there and is loved and well looked after. I would not trust anyone else with my boy after sending him to Brindswell.

Staff are always helpful, providing feedback, welcoming on arrival and generally friendly all-round.

Brinds Well Day Nursery (Orpington) have been amazing for my daughter they have worked hard on numbers and with her social skill. The management have been fantastic if I had a problem it would be sorted out immediately. Have nothing bad to say. Thank you for being amazing keep up the hard work.
