The people, facilities and variety of activities on offer (along with the excellent food menu) make it a fantastic environment. The attention to the various milestones and his personal progression is much appreciated, as is the open and friendly dialogue we’ve had with the management/reception teams and the staff in each room (Caterpillars, Ladybirds and Bumblebees so far).

We’re kept informed of not only his daily progress/behaviour/milestones, but the nursery responds to emails quickly and are really helpful in answering any questions we have. They keep parents well informed of nursery events/day closures and always give plenty of notice; it’s run really efficiently.

There are a lot of different activities or events which seem to be fun and great for learning and experiencing new things. Every stage was full of social and educational fun and friendship. Staff at every stage have been incredible. This year was graduation and getting ready for school. It was very emotional leaving the nursery.
Brinds Well has provided the right support for her to learn, read, write and look after her things etc. Whatever you need for school has been provided. It was an easy route to school. Thank you for everything!

We couldn't have asked for a more caring, safe, warm and educational environment for our girls and have been very happy with our choice. We really will miss everyone as the staff at the nursery have become friends to my daughters and to us.

Both my children attended Brindswell nursery and I would, without a doubt, highly recommend it to any parent. We have received exceptional care and seen our children flourish and gain so much confidence. The facilities are amazing - large gardens, with lots of fun outdoor amenities and each room has such a nurturing and stimulating environment. We (as parents) were kept up to date through an app and my children and I built very strong bonds with all the staff where they went above and beyond to support my sons with their development. It has truly felt like a second home for my kids and I can't recommend it enough!

Both of my daughters have attended Brinds Well, and we are leaving at the end of August as my youngest starts primary school, and I will genuinely miss everyone. Over the last seven years, I can honestly say the staff have become my friends, and my girls love them all. Everyone at Brinds, from reception staff to key workers to the nursery manager, is dedicated to giving our children the best start possible all the way through, from Caterpillars to Pre-School. Brinds is a warm, friendly, safe environment with exceptional approachable staff who work individually with our children’s needs and, where possible, will do their utmost to accommodate a parent's needs too, be it extra days, advice, etc.
Sending your child to Brinds Well, in my opinion, is a no-brainer - they are the top nursery in our area for one reason - they are the best!

Overall, pleased with the nursery. The room staff are friendly and kind to the kids. 2 - The cost of the fees is eye-watering. The most recent increase was substantial. To achieve value for money we should also see commensurate improvements.

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to review our Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ nursery and for the many four and five star ratings. A source of pride to us all. Daily sheets are a response to previous feedback but we are continually reviewing how we communicate with busy parents, through a variety of channels, so your comments are very much appreciated.
Fee increases for our fully inclusive service are always kept to a minimum and the latest is set against a backdrop of, for example, an average 28% increase in food for our award-winning nursery meals, a three-fold increase in electricity costs, and a 9.7% increase in the statutory Living Wage. We are also maintaining high level investment in nursery facilities, resources, and award-winning staff training programmes in addition to ‘out of hours’ support for parents with a huge range of bespoke resources and access to on-line events which include sessions with an Educational Therapist and First Aid training.

Hello, my name is Vanessa, and I am the Manager of Brinds Well Day Nursery.
I have worked in the Early Years sector since 2008 and have been part of Childbase since 2012. Throughout my career, I have gained a range of qualifications, including Level 2 and Level 3 in Childcare, a Level 5 in Leadership and Management, and a Level 5 in Operational Management.
What is your favourite part of working at Brinds Well?
I love working at Brindswell Day Nursery because it is such a welcoming, positive and inspiring place to work. One of the things I value most is being part of such a diverse team. Everyone brings different experiences, ideas and strengths, and I really enjoy learning from the people around me and working together as a team. The nursery itself is also a wonderful environment to work in. The purpose-built building is beautiful, thoughtfully designed and creates such a lovely atmosphere for both the children and staff. I especially love the beautiful, calm outdoor spaces, which give the children opportunities to explore, learn and enjoy being outside in a peaceful environment.
What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am most proud of how everyone works together as one team. We genuinely feel like a family, and there is such a strong sense of support, kindness and togetherness. I’m proud that we have created a positive, happy and calming environment where everyone feels supported and valued. We work together to make sure the children are happy, settled and given the best possible experiences, while also looking out for one another as colleagues. For me, it’s the sense of family and the positive atmosphere that makes our team so special. I feel very proud to be part of a team that supports each other, celebrates each other’s strengths and works together to create such a lovely place for children, families and staff.
