Brightsparks Day Nursery, Purley offers both full and part-time childcare packages within an environment that supports learning by helping children to embrace new interests and pick up key pre-school skills.

The nursery is conveniently located for families in Purley and the surrounding areas, close to Purley and Coulsdon town centres. The nursery is well served by local bus routes and are within easy reach of both Coulsdon South and Purley train station, making it ideal for commuting families.

Brightsparks Purley nursery is led by the Manager, who has been part of the Brightsparks Team since 2015. She is a dedicated early years professional who is passionate about creating a nurturing, stimulating environment where children feel safe, confident and supported.

She is supported by the Area Manager, who has been with Brightsparks since 2001. Both are Level 3 Early Years Practitioners and hold Foundation Degrees in Early Years, bringing a wealth of experience and leadership to the nursery.

Brightsparks Purley are proud to hold a “Good” Ofsted rating (May 2023), reflecting it's commitment to high-quality care and early learning.

The provider has built a strong reputation in the region since its establishment in 1999.

Alongside a vibrant early years education in a secure environment, each child's development is supported by well-balanced menus of home-cooked food.

Meals are prepared on a daily basis and include five portions of fruit and vegetables.

Brightspparks has been absolutely amazing for my son. He joined when he was 9 months old and is now leaving for primary school. His keyworker is so attentive, caring and committed to his learning and development, as are the rest of the staff. I could not have asked for a better experience or nursery.

My daughter has attended Brightsparks Day Nursery, Purley two days a week for the past year and she has been very happy here. The nursery is always tidy and clean when she arrives in the morning, she does new and interesting activities each week and she has progressed in all areas of her development
since starting. The manager is very committed, efficient and quick to respond to any email queries. The staff in the rooms with the children are very caring and fun, my daughter has made great relationships with them and talks about them a lot at home. The app and admin for the nursery works very well. We are moving out of the area and therefore sadly we are moving from the nursery. I am very happy that my daughter has attended Brightsparks Day Nursery and would recommend it to any other families.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the ladies at Brightsparks Nursery for everything they did for us and for our daughter who is autistic and she is sometimes difficult to handle. They were absolutely amazing with my daughter who was always very happy to go to nursery and she enjoyed
her time at Brightsparks so much! The manager is one of a kind, hands-on, great with all the children, she is definitely very passionate about her job and loves what she does and so are all the ladies involved in my daughter's education and well-being!
Thank you all for your hard work and efforts! You are amazing!

It is with a heavy heart that we are leaving the nursery after 14 months as we are moving to a new area. Our son joined in April 2021 right after lockdown and settled in very well. The manager is excellent and the staff are all so caring and friendly. Our son had an absolutely wonderful time. He really
thrived and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a nursery place.

My 3 and a half year old twins have attended Brightsparks since they were 8 months old. They both love it. They settled quickly into each room as they progressed through the nursery from babies to the pre-school room. They always have a lot to say about what they did, all the activities throughout the
day. The kids have come along in leaps and bounds since starting, encouraged throughout. Both are treated as individuals. The staff are amazing! The food is always an amazing selection. Facilities are always clean. The toys in the garden are constantly changing and being added to. Highly recommend this nursery to anyone in the area.

This is a great nursery and I totally recommend it. My son has been attending since he was a year old. I am able to see that his learning skills have improved every day. I love the fact that kids play outside in the fresh air every day. Also, the location is lovely and the staff are totally dedicated.

I'm a little late in writing this review as we started back in April 2021, but I have only great things to share! The nursery is extremely well run, very organised, genuinely intends to even be better (moved to online day diaries which have live updates as opposed to end of the day), communicates very
well. Most importantly, the staff are just wonderful and make active bonds, my now 14month old has a happy day always, has varied activities daily including outdoor play so I am only happy to see him grow and have more fun over the coming months and years. Thank you to the wonderful staff again as that's really what it comes down to.

The staff at Brightsparks Purley are all very friendly and have built up lovely relationships with both my children. The children both enjoy all their meals the cook prepares and the activities the staff arrange for them. I would not hesitate in recommending this nursery to others.

We have recently started our baby (1 year) at Brightsparks in Purley. Even with Covid, they have helped us settle him in well. The daily digest of his day, along with updates throughout the day, via the app, are great.

The staff are very welcoming and build great bonds with the children. I’m really happy with the care my child gets here. I feel they are providing outstanding care during this pandemic and I feel very happy that my child is still able to attend the nursery.

We have been so impressed with the level of care provided and highly recommend the nursery. My son settled in so quickly, which is down to the amazing staff. There is constant communication from the reception team notifying us of important updates especially during covid-19. There is an app the parents
can access where the child’s photos and observations are posted daily.

Both my children go here. We are very happy with the care and support we get from everyone at the nursery. The children love going here as we get excellent communication from all staff here. In particular, they have done an amazing job during the pandemic - working hard and keeping everyone safe.

Great staff who are friendly and proactive in children’s development. We get online updates on progress and activities our son is participating in almost every day he is there. They get fed healthy and wholesome food and activities seem to be varied.

My daughter has been at Brightsparks for around a year and a half now and they are amazing. She is so happy and her development is nurtured so well by the staff there. All the staff are kind, happy and helpful and really connect with the kids.
They were brilliant during the first lockdown and provide
a safe environment during this second lockdown. The staff work so hard and are so positive. I can't fault them.

Love everyone at Brightsparks. My daughter has been attending since she was 11 months old and she will be 3 in a few months and she thoroughly enjoys it. Staff are so helpful, trusting, understanding, professional and accommodating! It is an outstandingly run nursery and my daughter is so comfortable

Always impressed with the level of care at Brightsparks. Each member of staff gets to know the children and they form strong bonds. My eldest is quite anxious by nature and the staff have gone beyond what I would expect to help her. My youngest has settled so well and I get sent pictures and videos
regularly and it's so lovely to see my child having so much fun at nursery. The nursery is so well run and organised, safe and every aspect of care is clearly well-considered.

A fantastic nursery, really well run with clean facilities. Our son has settled in so nicely and loves going to nursery. His speech has improved so much since attending (he is behind on his speech) and we are so grateful for the care he receives. I would not hesitate in recommending this nursery as
