Brightsparks Day Nursery, Purley

Management/admin is always efficient and the daily care is outstanding with thoughtful activities arranged every day.

When transitioning to different nursery classes, staff allow children time to 'settle in' and gradually build time, rapport and connection with the children. Overall, I am very happy with the care provided and would highly recommend the nursery.

Had a great experience with the nursery. All the staff are lovely and very helpful. Our child started going to nursery a little earlier than we thought but the nursery handled him well. Right from the settling days to now. Best thing about the nursery are, of course, the people but also the regular updates we get from the app. Keeps us assured as parents.

The overall warmth too of the environment is brilliant. Each nursery staff member always greets you and you can tell the staff are a well-bonded team.

My little girl is always excited to go there and they never fail to keep her engaged with fun activities. The staff are wonderful - not only are they professional but they're also incredibly warm and friendly, which puts my mind at ease knowing my daughter is in good hands.

Both my kids attend the nursery. The older one is in pre-school and another one in the previous room. They can see the difference in activities based on their age. Both key workers are brilliant. I totally recommend it.

Brightsparks is a great nursery! The staff are very attentive and take a great interest in the children. Good, healthy meals and snacks are served. The activities are great, educational and very thoughtful on special occasions.

Brightsparks Day Nursery has been a great choice for my daughter. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Their level of care towards my daughter certainly makes me feel reassured that she is in the right hands. My daughter extremely enjoys the nursery. The staff put in every effort to ensure there are plenty of activities for children to enhance their learning alongside staying entertained throughout the day. Our daughter was very happy while at Brightsparks. Staff are very good and have been making her feel special and loved since her start at the age of 1. For us as parents, it gave us the peace of mind that she was having the best care while at nursery. I have been impressed with her learning and development. My twins have been at Brightsparks for over three years. They are about to leave to start school in September. I cannot thank the staff enough for all they have done for my children over the years. The staff are very friendly and focused on your child’s well-being and development. Brightsparks has been great. Caring, supportive and friendly environment with brilliant staff. Engaging and productive activities. Great communication with parents. I am so happy we sent our child to Brightsparks.

My son has attended since he was 11 months old. He is now due to leave, at the age of 4 years old. During his time at Brightsparks, all of the carers have been absolutely fantastic. I have seen and received support, advice and reassurance and have seen my son develop his communication, social and intellectual skills. I am so pleased with how he has developed through play and one-to-one time. The carers get to know the children, forming brilliant bonds ensuring focus is spent on activities that will aid their learning. I cannot thank his carers, along with the whole team, enough.

I’m delighted with the care my two boys receive at Brightsparks. We recently moved them from another daycare provider and I’m so happy we did. The manager is responsive and always on top of everything and the key workers are lovely. My boys are treated as individuals and this is the advantage of the size of Brightsparks. My eldest is receiving great prep for school in September.

Overall, our initial impression of Brightsparks is good. Staff are caring, helpful and accommodate our needs. Our child appears to be making good progress since starting. Our one downside has been the settling-in period, which was quite brief, meaning that things were complicated with our return to work as additional time had to be taken off (child not ready to cope with full days there). This however was not helped by a sequence of sicknesses during the introduction period. Overall, we would recommend.

Lastly, the food is fantastic. We get sent the menu each week.

I was extremely anxious about my 10 month old daughter joining nursery as I guess a lot of new parents are, but she has settled in so well which is an absolute credit to the lovely staff, especially her carer whom she is extremely fond of. In a short matter of weeks, my daughter was learning so much and coming home with a huge smile on her face as well as learning some new tricks! It is reassuring to know she is getting the developmental activities and interactions with other children we feel she needs and is thriving as a result. Every staff member has been so kind and welcoming and I can’t wait to see how my daughter develops through her time here. I have no worries whilst my daughter is at nursery and am kept up to date with pictures, nappy and food diaries etc, which is so lovely. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.
