Brightsparks Day Nursery, Purley offers both full and part-time childcare packages within an environment that supports learning by helping children to embrace new interests and pick up key pre-school skills.

The nursery is conveniently located for families in Purley and the surrounding areas, close to Purley and Coulsdon town centres. The nursery is well served by local bus routes and are within easy reach of both Coulsdon South and Purley train station, making it ideal for commuting families.

Brightsparks Purley nursery is led by the Manager, who has been part of the Brightsparks Team since 2015. She is a dedicated early years professional who is passionate about creating a nurturing, stimulating environment where children feel safe, confident and supported.

She is supported by the Area Manager, who has been with Brightsparks since 2001. Both are Level 3 Early Years Practitioners and hold Foundation Degrees in Early Years, bringing a wealth of experience and leadership to the nursery.

Brightsparks Purley are proud to hold a “Good” Ofsted rating (May 2023), reflecting it's commitment to high-quality care and early learning.

The provider has built a strong reputation in the region since its establishment in 1999.

Alongside a vibrant early years education in a secure environment, each child's development is supported by well-balanced menus of home-cooked food.

Meals are prepared on a daily basis and include five portions of fruit and vegetables.

Our daughter has been attending Brightsparks Day Nursery, Purley for around eighteen months now and we are, overall, very happy with it. The room staff are incredible and you can tell they really care for all the children.
Any concerns tend to be resolved swiftly which is much appreciated.

It’s the fourth year of experience with Brightsparks Day Nursery, Purley and second child now with it. Very happy with all the aspects of the nursery, facilities, cleanliness, activities, communications, staff are very caring and friendly.

My little girl is always excited to go there and they never fail to keep her engaged with fun activities. The staff are wonderful - not only are they professional but they're also incredibly warm and friendly, which puts my mind at ease knowing my daughter is in good hands.

Both my kids attend the nursery. The older one is in pre-school and another one in the previous room. They can see the difference in activities based on their age. Both key workers are brilliant. I totally recommend it.

Absolutely wonderful staff.
My daughter couldn’t stop saying her carer's name when she is home, and even more, she cannot wait to go back to nursery after the weekend.
I feel so secure as a mum when I see her so happy, engaged, learning and making new friends.
She has learnt so much in nursery.
Nursery management is also 10/10.
Very happy and highly recommend it.

So impressed with Brightsparks. My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery, and the staff are amazing. They are great at providing updates and photos on the parent admin app, and overall communication is faultless. Very happy.

Brightsparks Day Nursery has been a great choice for my daughter. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Their level of care towards my daughter certainly makes me feel reassured that she is in the right hands. My daughter extremely enjoys the nursery. The staff put in every effort to ensure
there are plenty of activities for children to enhance their learning alongside staying entertained throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this nursery to my friends and family.

Our daughter was very happy while at Brightsparks. Staff are very good and have been making her feel special and loved since her start at the age of 1. For us as parents, it gave us the peace of mind that she was having the best care while at nursery. I have been impressed with her learning and development.
We are grateful for the service provided during the last few years and would certainly recommend the nursery to other parents.

My son has attended since he was 11 months old. He is now due to leave, at the age of 4 years old. During his time at Brightsparks, all of the carers have been absolutely fantastic. I have seen and received support, advice and reassurance and have seen my son develop his communication, social and intellectual
skills. I am so pleased with how he has developed through play and one-to-one time. The carers get to know the children, forming brilliant bonds ensuring focus is spent on activities that will aid their learning. I cannot thank his carers, along with the whole team, enough.

I’m delighted with the care my two boys receive at Brightsparks. We recently moved them from another daycare provider and I’m so happy we did. The manager is responsive and always on top of everything and the key workers are lovely. My boys are treated as individuals and this is the advantage of the
size of Brightsparks. My eldest is receiving great prep for school in September.

Overall, our initial impression of Brightsparks is good. Staff are caring, helpful and accommodate our needs. Our child appears to be making good progress since starting. Our one downside has been the settling-in period, which was quite brief, meaning that things were complicated with our return to
work as additional time had to be taken off (child not ready to cope with full days there). This however was not helped by a sequence of sicknesses during the introduction period. Overall, we would recommend.

My son has been attending Brightsparks Nursery for nearly a year. The location is great and they have parking spaces right outside to make pick-up and drop-off really easy. This sounds trivial but every minute counts in the morning!
The facility is brilliant. They have a lovely inside and outside space
for the children to play in. They also have a sing and sign come in on a Thursday, which my son loves.
Most importantly, the staff are fantastic. It’s never easy leaving your child in the care of others but they take such good care of him and provide regular updates and pictures throughout the day. My son has additional needs and the staff are always adapting and encouraging him to take part in all the activities. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them.
We also get sent a weekly email with what the children will be up to that week and some idea of what you can do at home to support their learning.
Lastly, the food is fantastic. We get sent the menu each week.

I was extremely anxious about my 10 month old daughter joining nursery as I guess a lot of new parents are, but she has settled in so well which is an absolute credit to the lovely staff, especially her carer whom she is extremely fond of. In a short matter of weeks, my daughter was learning so much
and coming home with a huge smile on her face as well as learning some new tricks! It is reassuring to know she is getting the developmental activities and interactions with other children we feel she needs and is thriving as a result. Every staff member has been so kind and welcoming and I can’t wait to see how my daughter develops through her time here. I have no worries whilst my daughter is at nursery and am kept up to date with pictures, nappy and food diaries etc, which is so lovely. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

My baby started nursery a month ago and I am very happy with the care he has been provided. He got settled quickly. I can see improvements in his sleep routine. He is more independent now. He gets multiple food options there. I feel relaxed with my child's updates I get in parent admin. I get proper
updates of his nappy change, and what he has eaten which helps me in planning the rest of the day. I can also see pictures of my baby regularly. I can see the hard work they do to take care of him. I am happy that he is in good hands.

I feel very comfortable leaving my son in the care of Brightsparks. The facilities are lovely, the staff are very approachable and the nursery is run very well. Some books are worn and the iPad/internet is not good enough for the staff to quickly and efficiently provide updates and photos.

Highly recommend Bright Sparks to anyone. They have been fantastic with my 18-month-old son who has now been going for over a year. The staff are warm, friendly and fun, meaning my son often doesn't want to leave!

My daughter is coming to the end of her time at Brightsparks. She has been going since she turned 9 months old. The staff have been understanding and accommodating, helping my daughter's special needs. The staff have felt part of our wider family and I couldn't fault the care and service provided. The
