Welcome to Bright Horizons Teddington Cedar Road Day Nursery and Preschool, where they provide high-quality care and a curriculum designed by their Early Years specialists to give each child the best start to their schooling life. Their enriching and wellbeing-focused program is tailored for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Located in a beautiful converted Victorian school with seven playrooms, the nursery is situated in the town centre of Teddington and falls within the catchment areas of Teddington, Hampton, Hampton Wick and Twickenham schools.

The nursery room is a lively and exciting place where children actively participate in their learning based on their personal interests and choices. They offer two baby rooms, equipped with treasure baskets and sensory developmental experiences, as well as a hideaway areas for the babies to explore.

The toddler room is bustling and fun-filled, featuring a range of activities from physical play to a quiet storytelling. The preschool is equipped with interactive equipment including SMARTboard and light table.

To ensure your little learner is confident about starting school, preschoolers engage in their Ready for School programme, which structures and brings into focus maths, reading, writing and other essential skills they need to get ready for school. Preschoolers are taught by a specialist Early Learning teacher, who works in partnership with local schools.

Your child will enjoy spending time in their large, landscaped garden, divided into age-specific areas to ensure your child always has access to the best resources and activities for their development. Complete with a sandpit, racing track, climbing frame and more, their garden provides a natural and engaging learning environment.

The staff are very friendly and really good with the children. They create a very caring environment. The nursery also benefits from a fabulous outdoor space and adventure play garden. Having visited many nurseries, Asquith Teddington is 'head and shoulders' above the rest.

I have been using the nursery for 3 years now. My son started at 9 months and has progressed through the various rooms effortlessly. They have fully taken into account his needs and demands during the various developmental stages. I believe he has developed into a confident and happy little boy as
a result of his time there. Recently my 3-month-old daughter has started to attend a few days a week because I'm fully confident of the kind, nurturing and safe environment there. All members of the team are fantastic and the manager is extremely helpful and flexible with any needs or requirements. It'll be a sad day when the children will eventually leave Teddington nursery.

I have been constantly impressed with the overall environment and level of care/education that my daughter enjoys at Teddington Pre-school with particular praise for the EYT, her colleague and the rest of the pre-school team. Not only are overall levels of learning, care and activities very high, but
the she is proactive, enthusiastic and focussed and has overseen a very positive development in my daughter's confidence and skills. I genuinely believe that the staff are motivated to help the children reach their potential in a happy environment - thank you!. It will be sad to say goodbye in September.

Becky is the Nursery Manager at Bright Horizons Teddington Cedar Road. She began her career in childcare in 2012 and has been part of the Teddington Cedar Road team ever since.


Over the years, Becky has achieved her Level 3 qualification in Early Years and Level 2 in Team Leading and Management. She has built strong relationships with families and loves welcoming new faces — especially the little ones. Becky enjoys spending time with the children and supporting her team to create fun, engaging learning opportunities. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, keeping active, and taking part in water sports.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Nicole, our Deputy Manager at Bright Horizons Cedar Road has 18 years of experience in Early Years and a Level 3 childcare qualification.


Nicole brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and leadership to her role as Deputy Manager. Throughout her career, she has not only nurtured countless children through their developmental milestones but also mentored fellow practitioners, sharing her expertise and passion for early education. She finds the greatest joy in watching children grow into confident little individuals, knowing she’s played a part in their journey.


Outside of work, she cherishes time with family and friends and if she’s not with them, you’ll likely find her in the kitchen, baking up something delicious!
