Abbey Wood Grange Nursery South Croydon operates from an extended three-story house in a private, residential area in Kenley, South Croydon, Surrey.

Just a short walk from Kenley train station, close to local bus services (Godstone Road), they offer the highest quality childcare and pride themselves in meeting the high standards set for children's nursery care, they are members of the National Day Nursery Association.

As a registered provider of early years education they offer the Nursery Education Grant which entitles all three and four-year-olds to either 15 or 30 hours of Government funded nursery sessions per week. The nursery in South Croydon enjoys spacious and fully enclosed outdoor play areas with a wide range of outdoor equipment to allow the children to have fun whilst gaining physical skills, fresh air and exercise.

Abbey Wood supports children with learning difficulties and children who speak English as an additional language.

Our son has attended for almost 18 months now and he has thrived in the environment created at Abbeywood. We have had consistency with his key workers which is so important for us and him, he really loves going in each day. During these covid times, the communication from management has been exceptional
and we have been comforted by the measures that they are taking to ensuring the nursery stays covid free. We will be sending our second son here soon and would recommend highly to anyone.

Both my son and daughter have attended Abbey Wood Grange from 1 year old and 5 months (now 5 and 4 years old) and have loved attending this great nursery. From seeing them progress through the different stages you can see a great connection between the staff and the children and my children have both

My two boys attend Abbey Wood Nursery full-time, with my oldest attending since Sept 2018. My boys are extremely happy there and we are eternally grateful for the loving care and support they give our children. Abbey Wood is well managed, clean and provides a structured learning environment for even
the youngest children. They encourage independence from a young age and prepare the children well for starting school. The outdoor play area is fantastic. The staff listen and act quickly on any concerns regarding the children's development (e.g. fussy eating) and will put in place tailored programmes (e.g. to help with my son's dribbling). Communication is excellent, especially in response to the COVID guidelines where I feel the management have put all the appropriate measures in place. I will be forever grateful that our children have been able to continue attending nursery these recent months!

My daughter really enjoys attending Abbey Wood Grange. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. Most staff give a good detailed and handover and don't mind answering questions at the end of the day. They get a good amount of outdoor play and have good garden areas. They have been very proactive to
get their services up and running in the pandemic. I love that my daughter is still able to enjoy messy play activities as they purchased individual trays so that each child has their own. The nursery has a welcoming feel - they make a lot of effort to display children's work and they decorate for seasons, so the place is currently a magical winter wonderland. We would definitely recommend this nursery.

My nephew has attended Abbey Wood for two years now and we couldn't be happier with the excellent service and care provided. Upon dropping off and collection of our nephew we have always been welcomed and it is reassuring to know the strict security measures in place. All managers know the children

Both my children have attended this nursery since they were 11 months old. My youngest is in pre-school here and she loves it. At first she used to cry but is happy as soon as she is with carers and friends. Her carers and staff are really lovely here.
During COVID everything just seems so smooth.
The staff have worked hard to make sure there is an easy transition on drop off and pick up and you even get a full day's update.

What can I say, other than the nursery is outstanding! The facilities, resources and activities are fantastic, but most importantly the staff are so caring to all the children, which as a parent, leaving your child in someone else's care can be somewhat daunting. My son has been attending here since he was 17 months, he absolutely loves it, he asks to leave in the morning to go nursery, even asks at the weekend. They have their own soft play, 3 tiered gardens, the staff there are all lovely and really build relationships with your child. I would highly recommend
this nursery for your children it makes my days real easy knowing my son is in good hands and enjoys every minute he is there! Thank you all for everything you do and making every day a great enjoyable day for my boy.

What can I say other than fantastic? I was a first-time mum leaving my little boy from 10 months old in the middle of a global health pandemic - my nervousness was through the roof. The team at Abbey Wood Grange settled any nerves I had - they listened to what my son liked and enjoyed, they were accommodating
of his routine, and they made me feel like I could phone them at any time of the day to see how he was getting on. The thing that strikes me most about Abbey Wood Grange is that I have come to the realisation that I feel like my little boy is being dropped off at family each time he goes there - and because of that I feel like I have hit gold in finding them. Yes, this is a glowing review, but every part of it is from a sincerely grateful first-time mum.

I cannot recommend Abbey Wood Grange enough! The staff are amazing and my son loves going. When he has his meltdowns (which I'm sure every child does) the staff know exactly what to do and are amazing with my boy. He has 3 ladies who he has attached himself to as he has slight anxiety leaving me, so
I thank them for all their help and keeping my boy happy.

My daughter started at Abbey Wood at the beginning of October. The staff have been fantastic in helping us, as a family, with a smooth transition into nursery life. She has already started to learn new skills and is very interested in other children. I myself went to Abbey Wood 30 years ago when it

Abbey Wood Grange is the kindest and caring nursery. The lovely staff who work there really care about the children and make picking and dropping a positive experience which can be quite challenging in the current climate. The staff still organise lots of fun events and activities for the children and
ensure they are happy. My boy always comes out smiling and is always knocking on the door to let him in. The management team are so personable and loving towards the children and friendly to the parents. I would 100% recommend Abbey Wood Grange.

My daughter has been at Abbey Wood Grange since she was 11 months old and whilst it was hard leaving her in the care of someone else, I have been delighted at the way she settled in and the way the staff have looked after her and reassured me. She is now a year on and thriving under the care of Abbey
