Abbey Wood Grange Day Nursery

I’ve been sending my little boy here since April, he had a not so good start but this is because he has been very ill, no fault of the nursery at all, in fact, they were so lovely about it and understood and advised me on what to do next. My little boy loves the sensory room and soft play! So glad I sent him here, they are helping my boy who is not very verbal and he is improving so much day by day. Can’t fault them at all they look after my little boy very well.

The facilities at Abbey Wood Grange Day Nursery were the main draw for me, as well as the proximity to the train station making the commute to London quick and easy after drop off. I’ve since been really impressed with the management team and the rapport they build with everyone at Abbey Wood.

Everyone at the nursery clearly really cares about the children and their wellbeing. Highly recommend this nursery.

I have two children at Abbey Wood Grange and they are very happy there. The nursery are great at developing children. My eldest daughter is a confident child, who has made friends and will be ready for school in September. My youngest has settled in well and the nursery are great at supporting her needs eg she is a fussy eater. I would recommend this nursery.

All the staff at the nursery have been really great at looking after and teaching both my children so much. They come home having learnt so many things I didn't know they would be taught, whilst playing with friends. I had no concerns sending my baby into the pink room and watching them develop as they've moved up has been a joy. A recent change to the menus has gone down a treat too! I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone looking for somewhere fun and caring with great facilities.

I have never been happier since changing my son's nursery from his previous one to Abbey Wood. Being very worried as a mother of a SEN child, all of the staff at Abbey Wood have made my son feel very welcomed and loved which I cannot thank them enough for. In the short while my son has been there he has made great progress! Abbey Wood have accepted my son as he is and have gone the extra mile to make sure his needs are met as well as making sure he is integrated with the rest of his peers. Abbey Wood is definitely a warm loving environment where any child going there is well looked after and nurtured to reach their best potential. My son loves going to nursery and is known and loved by all the staff members there (even those who are not his teachers!). I would recommend Abbey Wood to anyone looking for a loving caring nursery for their child. Special thank you to the SENCO for the nursery for going over and beyond to help my son.

I highly recommend this nursery. All the staff are friendly, hard working and caring. Both my children have attended since they were 10-months old and have thrived in all the different rooms from the lovely baby and toddler room to the tweenie rooms. My children look forward to going to nursery and love the outdoor play areas.

A fantastic place. You initially worry when you first hand your child over to someone else, but we could not be more comfortable than handing our son over to Abbey Wood. He has a fantastic active day every day and loves attending. I could not recommend Abbey Wood or the staff more highly!

Our son has attended for almost 18 months now and he has thrived in the environment created at Abbeywood. We have had consistency with his key workers which is so important for us and him, he really loves going in each day. During these covid times, the communication from management has been exceptional and we have been comforted by the measures that they are taking to ensuring the nursery stays covid free. We will be sending our second son here soon and would recommend highly to anyone.

Fantastic nursery, I have been so pleased with the care and support that Abbey Wood Grange has given my daughter over the last year. They have helped her progress her new skills and always been supportive as she’s learned. Lots of long term staff which is a testament to the great atmosphere that Abbey Wood Grange has. We are very happy with Abbey Wood Grange. All the staff are amazing and communication is brilliant. Our daughter absolutely loves coming to nursery and enjoys a huge variety of activities both inside and outside. The facilities are great and well kept.

Both my son and daughter have attended Abbey Wood Grange from 1 year old and 5 months (now 5 and 4 years old) and have loved attending this great nursery. From seeing them progress through the different stages you can see a great connection between the staff and the children and my children have both been extremely happy here. My wife and I would like to pass on our gratitude and appreciation to you all for keeping the nursery running through such difficult times. We have witnessed nothing but the highest standards of professionalism and care from Abbey Wood throughout the pandemic. My child comes home every day from nursery full of enthusiasm and happiness and we have complete faith in the measures you have in place.

My two boys attend Abbey Wood Nursery full-time, with my oldest attending since Sept 2018. My boys are extremely happy there and we are eternally grateful for the loving care and support they give our children. Abbey Wood is well managed, clean and provides a structured learning environment for even the youngest children. They encourage independence from a young age and prepare the children well for starting school. The outdoor play area is fantastic. The staff listen and act quickly on any concerns regarding the children's development (e.g. fussy eating) and will put in place tailored programmes (e.g. to help with my son's dribbling). Communication is excellent, especially in response to the COVID guidelines where I feel the management have put all the appropriate measures in place. I will be forever grateful that our children have been able to continue attending nursery these recent months!

This is a wonderful nursery - very caring and supportive, and they have responded brilliantly to the covid 19 pandemic situation. My son is very happy there and the staff always go above and beyond. Their communication is excellent and they always keep us informed.

My daughter really enjoys attending Abbey Wood Grange. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. Most staff give a good detailed and handover and don't mind answering questions at the end of the day. They get a good amount of outdoor play and have good garden areas. They have been very proactive to get their services up and running in the pandemic. I love that my daughter is still able to enjoy messy play activities as they purchased individual trays so that each child has their own. The nursery has a welcoming feel - they make a lot of effort to display children's work and they decorate for seasons, so the place is currently a magical winter wonderland. We would definitely recommend this nursery.

My nephew has attended Abbey Wood for two years now and we couldn't be happier with the excellent service and care provided. Upon dropping off and collection of our nephew we have always been welcomed and it is reassuring to know the strict security measures in place. All managers know the children by names and it really does have a family feel. 10/10 from us!

During COVID everything just seems so smooth. The staff have worked hard to make sure there is an easy transition on drop off and pick up and you even get a full day's update.

What can I say, other than the nursery is outstanding! The facilities, resources and activities are fantastic, but most importantly the staff are so caring to all the children, which as a parent, leaving your child in someone else's care can be somewhat daunting. I know that my child is receiving the best care when he is at Abbey Wood Grange and is learning in a fun and safe environment. We couldn't ask for anything more.

My son has been attending here since he was 17 months, he absolutely loves it, he asks to leave in the morning to go nursery, even asks at the weekend. They have their own soft play, 3 tiered gardens, the staff there are all lovely and really build relationships with your child. I would highly recommend this nursery for your children it makes my days real easy knowing my son is in good hands and enjoys every minute he is there! Thank you all for everything you do and making every day a great enjoyable day for my boy.
