Bright Horizons New Eltham Day Nursery offers high-quality care and education for babies from 3 months to children aged 5.

Staff at New Eltham strongly believe in the importance of outdoor adventure and encourage children to explore the outdoor area as ofter as possible.

The garden for each room is changed every day with new and inspirational activities for the children.

There is a large pirate ship for hours of fun and role play plus a climbing frame, playhouse, bikes and planting areas for children to grow their own vegetables.

The four age-specific rooms are set up to facilitate the individual needs of each child, there are lots of educational activities as well as fun messy play in the toddler and nursery rooms. The preschoolers have access to ICT equipment such as a smartboard and interactive computers to enhance learning.

Their unique Healthy Hearts and Minds activities provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative and well established Boogie Mites and myHappymind programmes.
An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

The nursery was rated 'Good' by Ofsted in July 2018.

Our experience of Asquith New Eltham Day Nursery has been a fantastic one and I will highly recommend to others. Our son came here as a very shy like person but has bloomed over the years. He is now growing into a strong independent child and thanks to the teachers for that. We feel comfortable to leave
our son at preschool and go to work. He has made great relationships with other kids and the new development has made a huge difference too.

Since my son has started nursery, there hasn't been a day whereby he hasn't wanted to attend. He first started being really shy around both teachers and other children. Within two weeks he already started making close relationships with children and teachers. Most days I pick him up he always has something
exciting to tell me regarding his day. Teachers are always interacting with the children in various learning and playing activities.

We've had a very positive experience with Asquith.


My son has bonded well with his key people over almost 2 years he's been at the nursery and they have clearly been fond of him too, which has been lovely for me to see. My son is thriving at the nursery - his talking is coming along really well and

he's confident playing with other children, to give a few examples. I'm really glad that we decided to send our son here. It's not cheap but it's worth it.

It has been a really pleasant experience at New Eltham Day Nursery.
The way all the staff relate with my child has provided a good balance which has really helped him develop into a lovely boy who is intelligent, understands the reward for good behaviour and the consequence for not so good behaviour.
As
he moves into main stream school (Reception) I know that the foundations laid here will help him thrive.

From the settling in sessions, all practitioners were very attentive to my child's needs. This was my first nursery experience and I found management were very supportive. My child's learning and development has come on leaps and bounds and I am amazed at how confident my son is. The atmosphere is very
creative and is so beautiful to see the bonds between children and the staff. The outdoor environment that is provided for children is very active and motivating.

My daughter has attended Asquith New Eltham for over two and a half years since she was 12 months old. We have always been extremely happy with the nursery and have got to know many members of staff well in that time. My daughter loves the nursery and talks fondly of staff and her friends there daily.
It is clear to see how much the nursery has helped her to develop over the years and to also build in confidence. With school on the horizon for her in 12 months time, Asquith has been (and I'm sure will continue to be) the perfect environment to prepare her for "big school"!

Our child has attended this nursery for over six months. We have got to know and trust the staff very well over this time. We both feel very confident in them to look after, stimulate, educate, and nurture our little girl. She started nursery at only 9 months old.


The staff put so much effort

into the activities. Every time I walk in, the children always look well cared for and engaged in activities or sleeping peacefully. Lots of singing for the 15 months group!


When I visited other nurseries, little things caught my eye that concerned me. But so far, Asquith new Eltham has been perfect.


The food was the best of the nurseries we visited. Food is very important to us, and we have a very wholesome diet at home.


Though the rooms are not the most beautiful, and gardens not the biggest compared with some nurseries, every inch of the nursery is put to great use, with every member of staff adding energy throughout the whole day. Very pleased to recommend this nursery to anyone.

This truly is an amazing nursery. My daughter started here at 13 months and absolutely loves it. There's hardly a day where she doesn't come home with something she's painted or created with the exceptional staff. My daughter is singing songs, starting to talk, and every week we notice a change in
her development due to something she's learnt at nursery. The food is top notch, there is an amazing garden not just for the toddlers but even big children. The manager listens and deals promptly with any concerns. She is extremely approachable and her passion and kindness really translates and reflects on this nursery.

My son has been at New Eltham since we moved to the area 12 months ago. He has previously been in a small family run nursery where we lived and we were unsure how he would settle in. Our concerns were happily not an issue. The team were very welcoming to our son and us and we are very happy with his
progression. he is turning into a great little man and his language, social skills and behaviour are improving on a weekly basis.
