Partou Turney Road Day Nursery Pre-School

Our son has attended Nelly's Nursery - Turney Road for just over a year. We are so happy with Nelly's, our son is incredibly happy and has thrived in the warm and fun environment. The nursery is well organised and communicates effectively with parents. Its online platform, Tapestry is also a lovely way for us to view the daily life of our son whilst at Nelly's. We wish we had sent our older two children to this nursery!

Nelly's is an excellent Nursery. The staff are so caring I know that I have nothing to worry about when I drop my son off in the mornings. The setting is homely with lots of engaging activities. The food sounds delicious and my son really enjoys it. I am an early years teacher and looked at many nurseries. Nelly's really stood out to me. My son has been there for 18 months and I couldn’t recommend it more.

Top nursery with excellent facilities and staff... have had a great experience for my 2-year-old. They were very supportive during the pandemic and talking to other friends (whose kids are in other nurseries) realised that Nelly’s responses during 2020 have been the best - supporting staff and kids families during tough times.

They are defo a 5-star nursery (even confirmed by the Ofsted rating). Keep up the good work.

Excellent nursery. I am a very anxious parent and I don’t worry about my son when he’s at Nelly's. I feel reassured that he is getting the best care and early learning education. The staff are friendly warm and dedicated. Highly recommend!

Our son has been at Nelly's Nursery Turney Road for two years and we (including our son) absolutely love it. The staff are all fantastic without exception and they have made us so comfortable in the knowledge that our son is getting the best care, particularly during the current circumstances with the lockdown. He is so happy at drop off and pick up (although sometimes he's upset as he doesn't want to leave) and learning so much. We feel very lucky. Thank you to the Nelly's team!

I have had three children at Nelly's nursery on Turney Road over the last five years - we will be really sad to say goodbye when my youngest son leaves for school in September. There has been a consistent team of staff who are completely committed to ensuring the children have a brilliant day, every day. My son really enjoys playing with his friends, participating in the external activities (music and french classes) and playing in the garden - which is very well designed with a sandpit, climbing frame and lots of vehicles. There is always a mix of activities and the staff are really responsive to children's preferences and personalities - each of my children have different personalities yet all thrived there. Over COVID they also put in place a fantastic key worker support service, which we were so grateful for, and the transition in and out of that has been seamless for my son thanks to the commitment to maintaining staff continuity for the children.

Outside space has sandpit, climbing frame, bikes and other great activities. My son loves it there and so do I!

My daughter has been attending Nelly's since April 2019. The settling in period was very well thought out and helpful - making her transition into two full days a week much easier. Her key worker is lovely, as are all the staff in the baby room, working together to provide a caring environment for the children. The nursery is suitable for parents that are looking for a home from home environment.

Lovely nursery - have had our daughter there since she turned one and never had a day of worry. Her key worker is unbelievably fantastic and has been helping her grow into a lovely little being who is calm, considerate and caring - attributes which we'd love to believe are natural but are have undeniably been also formed by her interactions with others of her age group at Nelly's and those that care for them there. Cannot say enough good things about this nursery.

He is happy being there and has developed a close relationship with staff and other kids. We are very happy with the care provided and feel he is in good hands when we leave him every morning.

We couldn't be happier after our son's first month at Nelly's Nursery. From day 1 of settling in, Nelly's has felt like a second home. The staff are so welcoming, gentle and loving (both to the babies and parents!) and have made us so comfortable in the knowledge that our son is getting the best care. He is so happy at drop off and pick up and is developing so well and learning so much. The structure and routine is perfectly balanced and the activities and facilities are wonderful. We’ve been very happy with Nelly's for our two children. They’ve had wonderful key workers who the boys have grown very close to, helped with their development, and kept us updated a lot with their progress at pick-up and via Tapestry online. Hours of 7:30 to 6:30 are very helpful for us as both working parents.

My eldest has been here for three years and my youngest since March 2018. Overall, we are very happy with the nursery; the staff are excellent, loving and caring and that nurturing approach continues from the baby room into the main room. The only point for improvement is the change in sickness policy which happened last year so that children with raised temperatures are no longer given an hour after calpol to see if their temperature comes down - instead, as soon as a temperature is raised, you have to go and collect your child. This is much stricter than other nurseries in the area and can make life as a working parent much tougher, as it can mean you being called to collect even when your child is not really unwell.

My daughter recently joined as a two-year-old. The staff were really helpful with her settling in period. Now she looks forward to nursery and is happy on her way in. For me, that is a really positive sign. There is good feedback from the staff about activities. It’s a nurturing and warm environment which makes good use of the space that it has.

My daughter has been very happy at Nelly's. She has been there since she was 10 months old and I felt she learnt a lot in the baby's room and the staff there genuinely cared for her and her development. Nelly's was very supportive of my daughter when her new sibling arrived and during her transition to the "big kid's" room where they continue to encourage her to learn and discover new things. I like that they encourage a collaborative approach with parents.

Our 2yr old daughter joined less than a month ago and absolutely loves it. We already feel part of the family and would highly recommend it! The staff are very welcoming and you can see they work great as a team together. We are very fond of our key workers but all the staff are lovely and great with the children. There are lots of varied activities and we especially love that she can play outdoors whenever. It’s also been nice to see some of these activities in Tapestry recently. The food menus are varied and well balanced which is also important to us. As for the children they are always happy and content, very busy playing and exploring as children do!

My son has just completed his settling in at the nursery and I couldn’t be happier with the care and enthusiasm of the staff. It is such a lovely environment.

There are always stimulating activities and a lovely outdoor play area. I cannot recommend Nellys highly enough and just wish I had found them sooner than I did.
