Bright Horizons East India Dock Day Nursery

My daughter has been at this nursery for two years and I've seen her grow over the course of time. She was able to learn academically but she also gained a lot of friends which was so nice to see, being she was an only child. I'm more than happy that she was able to spend her time here now she's off to big kids' school.

We had a very poor experience trying to settle our boy at this nursery. Right at the first session, the seemingly uninterested key worker assigned to him did a terrible job of interacting with him, the room was crowded, hot and messy, and there were multiple children crying without being attended to. We witnessed a little boy crying hysterically who reached out his arms for us to pick him up, and to our surprise, the staff told us to leave him alone as it was his first day and he was "just crying". The child cried the whole hour we were there, without any attention given to him. It was very obvious that they were going to do exactly the same with our boy and we couldn't stomach the lack of empathy.

Amazing graduation ceremony for the class of 2024! Lovely attention to detail, beautiful arrangements, great concert, we had a wonderful time in the garden party. Fitting end of our association with the nursery!

Had such a lovely experience since the beginning until my daughter's grand graduation ceremony! Management and other staff are exceptional, caring and very supportive. My daughter looked forward to going to the nursery every day and had a wonderful time. A big thanks to the preschool team!

As a worried mother to find the best "home away from home" nursery for my son, I feel that I never have enough words to say thank you for every single person at this nursery. You can really see the dedication, the interest and the special care they give to all children. My son took a long time to adjust going to nursery and we have been supported so much along the way. He is now very much looking forward to meeting his favourite teachers in the morning and they are very much part of our lives now. Me and my wife are very pleased with the warmth we have been treated at Bright Horizons. Staff is really caring and supportive to parents, making sure they are addressing specificities of our baby and communicating very often and clear about the achievements of our child.

My favourite part about this nursery is how much all the workers in the baby room love the babies. All the workers have a fantastic bond with them and it’s beautiful to see how happy the babies are with them each day.

My child has been attending Bright Horizons East India Dock Day Nursery since he was 8 months (he's now nearly 2). The managers are exceptional, they always have a smile and are always very welcoming my son is always happy seeing their faces when he enters the setting. The girls in the baby room made him feel comfortable and supported him through his settling period, he has now moved to the bigger room and the ladies in there are brilliant, he loves walking in the morning by going straight up to them for a cuddle. They always keep me updated with his development and reassure me of where he's at. I couldn’t ask for anyone better to look after my boy, the love and the support are wonderful.

We are delighted with Bright Horizons Nursery. My son started before he turned one. He has learned social skills, table manners, and has developed his fine motor skills. The nursery supplies very nice meals, has a nice outdoor play area and facilitates regular haircuts, family photo opportunities and has a band who visit and play Spanish nursery rhymes to the little ones. The staff are very caring and friendly.

My little one adores all her caretakers. As a mother, I feel very relaxed during the drop-offs when I see her rush into the room to hug her teacher! Thanks to the efforts of all the staff members I can see that my child is growing into a lovely person, is getting chattier and more curious by the day, and is also starting to develop friendships! We receive regular updates on our little one's progress with tailor-made plans for the next developmental milestone. We are happy parents indeed!

I am so pleased with the nursery! My son has been attending at the age of 21 months! His vocabulary has extended to a great amount and the nursery always accommodating to his needs. A big thank you to the managers for really putting all their hard work and effort into looking after their staff and therefore all the children are getting the support they need. All the staff are easy to communicate with and always sending lovely feedback and pictures daily of my child. My daughter had been at East India Dock, Bright Horizons for almost 11 months now, and we couldn’t be happier. The staff are amazing, very supportive and kind. She loves going to the nursery, does a range of fantastic, stimulating activities every day and really enjoys the food too! As I parent, I am kept up to date with what’s happening each day with detailed information and photos via the app. I feel totally at ease that she is being well looked after and is learning new skills and socialising with friends.
