Bright Horizons Canada Square Day Nursery and Preschool

Our son has been going to this nursery for 21 months now and we are extremely happy. He has developed and learned so many new things during this period and comes home with pictures of activities done most days. The nursery also maintains a high level of hygiene and did step up during difficult times like the pandemic. I was satisfied by the protocols and rules put in place and happily sending my son all this time. The staff here is doing a commendable job and I cannot thank them enough for their exemplary service.

Our daughter always has an amazing time at the nursery. She is happy and giggles when we drop her/pick her up from the nursery. Every day she comes back home with a new trick she learned. The nursery helped kids to develop their skills. They go for walks every day. Our daughter enjoys going to the garden. Perfect place for kids to see some nature. The management is vert reliable and everyone who works at the nursery is very friendly.

Our son has been at the nursery for almost 2 and a half years and he has had a wonderful experience. He's made great friends and also developed a bond with many of his carers along the way. We were really impressed by the nutritious diet offered to him at the nursery. We also really liked the weekend journal given to him in preschool which ensured that he continued his learning over the weekend. He has also improved his writing and counting skills although he can improve more in this area. Overall, it has been a really good experience and we will cherish his experiences for years to come!

Our children have all left this nursery confident and completely ready to succeed in the school environment.

Bright Horizon Canada Square is an excellent nursery. It is evident that they are very thorough with their hiring process as all of their staff operate with a very high level of professionalism while nurturing and developing the children in their care. My son has made significant progress since starting - primarily in the area of language development and social skills. He is very happy to go to nursery, has many friends and adores the practitioners. The nursery does not have an outdoor area however they operate in excellence which more than compensates for this.

In the last two months, I see a lack of management within the nursery. No nursery manager for a few months now, no announcement made when she left. Now the second in charge is also off for more than two weeks and we have no information as to why staff are leaving. Overall, I do not see the same level of engagement as I have seen in the past. Staff don't seem to be very energetic or enthusiastic with few exceptions. It would be good to see the nursery back on track, as I have nearly two years association with it and it is now at an all time low.

My daughter has been in the pre-school room for almost a year and I have seen her learn so much. I've very positive comments. Her pre-school teachers/carers have taught her to hold her pencils/pens with a good pencil-grip for writing/drawing.

I am happy with the facility and the staff. I can see lots of positive changes in my son.

We are delighted we chose Bright Horizons Canada Square as they have been fantastic with our son since he joined last year. We were made to feel very welcome and given lots of help (for both him and me!) to get settled in. The nursery itself is always spotless and the staff work exceptionally hard with the children by engaging them in lots of fun and games! There is always a cheerful greeting in the mornings from everyone and helpful feedback at end of day on how he’s gotten on. Keep up the great work!

The nursery makes parents and children feel extremely welcome. Every member of staff seems to know my son's name. My son is very happy here, thanks to the attentiveness of staff, the varied activities, learning experiences suited to his care and the excellent menus provided.

Very happy with the nursery, my daughter settled in very well and it is amazing how much she has developed since she started.

I am very happy with the nursery and would highly recommend the nursery. Given the weather in this country you cannot take kids outside, but Bright Horizons Canada Square has very good and spacious indoor garden which overcomes the limitation of weather. Also, the staff is amazing. Not only does the staff take good care but also almost all the carers have a special bond with each child in the room. My son started when he was 6 months old and now he is 1 year old. I see that he is already independent and is growing into a happy child.

Overall it is great, but the management running the school should demonstrate more ethical professionalism. Transparency should not be defined as you do first and tell later, but take in confidence before you do anything. My daughter who has been a part of this school for about a year now, and recently got her elbow dislocated in the school. We were called and told after a couple of weeks that the school went behind our back to consult the council and social worker telling them we lift our child by her arms and can it be a concern. I don't recall doing it with her dislocated elbow which defeats all the senses, but any time if she noticed, then it was her professional courtesy and duty to confront the parents and say it is not correct. I have no complaints with the staff but leaders in the school should be more professional and execute their duties without being defensive.

We have seen our daughter grow in confidence. She is happy to go to the nursery and she takes the nursery staff names during the weekend. Her communication skills have approved too. The staff at Bright Horizon are welcoming and supportive. I highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter is attending Baby 2 group and all I can say is that thanks to the teachers and staff there she settled amazingly quickly. Everyone there gives their absolute best to make sure the children are safe and happy, and the feedback I get every time is always helpful, constructive and considerate. I am especially glad to be always greeted warmly every time I am in to drop my child off or pick her up, and it means a lot to both of us that the staff are so friendly and available for any questions or concerns. Every other aspect of the nursery itself so far has been great- the food, the toys, the activities, overall everything!

My son loves Bright Horizons Canada Square Day Nursery and Preschool. The level of attention he gets from the staff is fantastic and his development (physically, mentally and socially) has been excellent. The quality and extensive nature of the facilities available to him allow him to challenge himself every day, to learn new and exciting things and to have lots of fun in the process. The limited outside space is more than made up for by the daily trips outside.

Management are very much on the ball supporting their staff in every way possible and always seeking feedback from parents to ensure the service they provide is the best it can possibly be. I would highly recommend Bright Horizons Canada Square Day Nursery and Preschool.

My son has been at the nursery for 2 years and we have noticed how it is continuously striving to improve. At each room, our son has had fantastic staff who have been caring and approachable. With a special mention to two members of staff who have had a huge impact on my son's enjoyment and development.

The preschool is really good. Kids seem to be very happy and you can feel the energy when you walk into the room. Staff is great - give you a detailed feedback about everything.
