My little boy joined Canada Square (previously Little Unicorns) when he was 1. In the early days it was hard for him but thanks to the amazing efforts of the staff he eventually settled. He's now 3 and we recently relocated, and we've moved him to a local nursery. During the 2 years he was at Canada Square he grew from a little timid baby to a confident toddler. He loves going to nursery, he loves playing with his buddies and most of all he loves his practitioners. It was heartbreaking to move him out and once again we were worried about how he would settle into a new nursery. Amazingly he was settled within 2 weeks and by the third week, he was back on a full-time schedule! I believe this was all thanks to his amazing practitioners who had (from day one) consistently made his nursery experience a positive one, and so when joining a new nursery he took to it like a duck to water. The staff have really helped shape our little boy into the confident toddler he is today. Thank you.

Clean nursery, friendly and caring staff. More wiping of snotty noses would be good.

My children have been at the nursery since they were less than a year old. The care of the practitioners since then has been excellent. The environment is very nurturing and the children all well looked after. They are kept engaged with a number of activities and the learning and development is excellent. There has been some management issues but I am glad that the management has responded to parents concerns really quickly. I am overall very happy with the nursery.

The nursery is such a lovely environment for kids from very young age up to pre-school. The staff are extremely kind, friendly and warm. My daughter who is nearly three has been here since she was 8 months and the first thing she asks for when she wakes up is that we take her to nursery.

Overall Experience
The key strength of the nursery is the staff, they are superb. Highly professional, always tuned into the needs and development of each child.
Our son was in the starter room from 4 - 16months, 5 days a week and we could not have wished for better, more fully engaged care. The staff in that room gave him an excellent start in life and those in the toddler room are continuing in the same vein.
Communication with parents is extremely good - staff take the time to tell you about your child's day on top of written feedback.
Our son has high-quality time at the nursery and has formed important bonds with the staff there.

We have been extremely pleased with the provision and have absolute confidence in the nursery's staff.

Overall Experience

My son has attended the nursery since he was 10 months old. He is now 4 years old. He has built many wonderful relationships with the practitioners and has also made some key friends within his home room. The only thing I would mention as a negative is my son is a fussy eater and the nursery will not let me bring food from home to the nursery for him to eat. I take time out to go to the nursery to ensure he has something to eat at lunch time as don't want him to be hungry. The practitioners do really encourage him to eat the nursery food but he is not always very keen.
