Situated close to Canary Wharf underground station, the bright and homely nursery is perfect for working families.

Every aspect, from the carefully planned rooms to the experienced staff, is designed to help your child’s development, from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

Canada Square children enjoy the use of a huge indoor garden with a life size climbing train, ride on bikes and cars, and lots of space to run around. They also take advantage of the location – with daily trips out along the riverside to watch the clipper boats.

Bright Horizons nurseries have a wide range of play and learning activities designed to encourage happy, confident children who are ready to enjoy a lifelong journey of learning. This includes a unique Growing Programme, a unique set of enhancements that focus on improving preschoolers’ reading, writing, science, maths, physical activity, art and more.

The children also enjoy weekly visits from a Sports Coach, and Bilingual Beats extracurricular sessions at no extra cost.

The staff is very sweet and you can tell that looking after children is not "just a job" for them, they truly care.
I was a bit disappointed that, despite them reassuring me that they would do their best to accommodate baby's schedule at least for the first few weeks, this wasn't really true as they
applied their own schedule for feeds and naps from day one, which resulted in a very long adjustment period for all of us (not exactly what a mum returning to work hopes for!)
Aside from that, I love that they always update me at the end of the day and often send pics and updates through the app.
The room is on the dirty side for my standards, as my little one always comes up a bit dusty!
All in all, fairly satisfied!

It has been only 2 months since my child started and I'm absolutely delighted with his nursery. The staff are wonderful - so caring, friendly, and professional. My son is always happy to go in the morning and comes home full of stories. It's such a lovely, nurturing environment, and I couldn't be happier
with the care he receives.

Fantastic nursery with a great atmosphere thanks to the wonderful and thoughtful staff. The indoor garden sets this nursery apart from others, so that children can play whatever the weather. Additional activities such as theatre bugs and readings at the library nearby are great.

We could not be more thankful for the wonderful care and support provided at Bright Horizons Canada Square. This nursery is special in so many ways. What really makes it stand out is the genuine kindness and dedication shown by every member of the team - from the directors and managers to the teachers
and kitchen staff. It is clear that they truly care about each and every child.
Our children (3 years old and 4 years old now) absolutely love going to nursery. They are learning so much, growing in confidence, and becoming more independent every day. The variety of activities and the caring environment have made a real difference in their development.
We have tried several nurseries before, and I can honestly say this is one of the best we have experienced. As a parent, it is such a relief and a real joy to see our children so happy, supported, and understood.

This nursery feels little home. Everyone knows everyone, staff from all classes know kids by name, their parents. Staff knows and understands ups and downs of your child, nurture them and get them ready to face the real world where independence is sought and expected from them.
The only downside is
their infra is not great to handle that many kids but hoping they have plans to grow that in future as the atmosphere is just so positive!

Our toddler has been thoroughly enjoying his time at Bright horizons Preschool. Everyday a new experience that we have lots to discuss every night. The staff are all so loving and great with all the kids. we've been here from the start and we are so glad we did.

My son has been attending this nursery for seven months now and I have noticed huge developments in him, all of which are positive and down to the great effort put in by the nursery staff who care for him. He clearly really enjoys going into nursery which demonstrates the love, care and joy the nursery
instils in his upbringing. He has exposure to a wide range of activities on the days he is in, each of which aids development of multiple senses/concepts. The nursery management is equally brilliant at their job and is extremely responsive and flexible to help cater for our needs (particularly with difficult working weeks). I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking to enrol their child at a nursery.

All staff at this nursery are warm, caring and friendly. They provide a safe environment for my child to play, learn and grow with other children.
I believe this is due to the fact that her caretakers take the extra effort to build a relationship with her.
My daughter has shown growth in communication
skills and fine motor skills such as the ability to dress independently i.e. wearing her socks, shoes and pants.

My child has been attending 2 days a week since May 2024. We couldn't be happier with the care and attention he receives.
They do lovely activities with the kids, know their personalities, and encourage the children to develop different skills. Staff communicate well and thoroughly with parents.
We
receive multiple updates on what our child has been doing, working on, his interests, and what skills he is developing.

Couldn’t be happier with the nursery, it’s a perfect place for any child to learn and grow whilst they enjoy day to day life, meeting new friends and learning new skills. All the staff are kind and friendly, we get updates constantly throughout the day about our daughter’s progress and what she has
been doing. When we pick up, we also get a daily debrief of everything our daughter has done from her key worker and on our way home, our daughter will tell us everything she has done with her key worker and what she has been taught. Our daughter attends twice a week and she cannot wait to go back every time she leaves. Every time she attends she learns something new; it’s the perfect nursery for any child to attend.

One of the staff in the office was rude when I pointed out our child's English name was written wrong, and she said to me abruptly, and I quote, "Mistakes happen". Period.
The kid's noses are always runny and no one bothers to help them wipe it. Not just our child.
When we noticed our child had not
eaten because the staff forgot to add it in the app, I asked about it and was told they could not force-feed a child, but I never asked them to do that. That was not even what I was talking about. Why she jumped to that conclusion I don't understand.
I noticed a bruise on our child's face, I asked one of the staff what happened and she said it was there when I brought her in which was a lie. When she realised I knew she lied, another staff member came over, apologised and said it happened when the kids were playing.
Our child was potty training and whenever she soiled her underwear, the staff would wrap it in a plastic bag with the poo still in it and put it in her school bag. Not hygienic.

My husband and I are very happy with this nursery. They are extremely professional, human, kind and friendly. The management is fantastic and always reachable and open to talk about any points you may have. Not only do they listen to you as they are also very efficient about any requests you have. The
staff are also excellent and they do care about your child. They are very professional and give you peace of mind and heart! Also, they are very experienced and know what they are doing.
In short, we couldn’t be happier with the choice we made. A big thank to the whole team of this beloved nursery which is a second home for us!

Fantastic staff and a great environment for our little one. The staff at Bright Horizons are amazing and we know our son is in very capable and safe hands from the moment he gets dropped off. Management conveys information well and the app is updated frequently throughout the day so we can snoop on
what our toddler has been eating throughout the day as well as being informed of his nap time. Our son loves going into nursery which is one of the biggest indicators of what a great nursery this is and he has lots of fun doing different activities every day.

Our son has attended BH nursery at Canada Square since Jan 2023. He joined Baby Room 2 when he was 14months old. He is currently in Toddler 1 about to transition to Toddler 2. We rate the staff / carers and the facility very highly. Whenever we have had any concerns they have been addressed efficiently.
The caters and staff will go out of their way to help in any way they can. They have also been very loving towards my newborn daughter who will be joining the nursery in Nov 2024. Thanks to all the carers and staff who have been taking such excellent care of my son.

I am so happy that my child attends Bright Horizons Canada Square. My only wish is that I had been able to get her in sooner. My daughter has some speech and communication delays and the team has been brilliant. I feel safe leaving my daughter with the team and confident that every day she is getting
excellent care and attention. The little touches here and there such as events, parties, card making and inclusion days really make us feel welcome. I will be sad to leave when she starts school. Very supportive team and extremely well-trained staff. It is very clean too and my child is rarely sick unlike the last nursey she attended she was always poorly as it wasn't very clean.

As a family, we feel listened to and cared for. We have full trust in the staff (that includes the chefs) and of course the amazing management team. Our son is very happy, safe and constantly learning! We love he is encouraged to be himself.
