Mayfield Nursery

We had to leave due to moving area but already miss everyone very much.

We have been extremely happy with Mayfield Nursery and our daughter really loved her time there. All the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and we are really sad to leave. I would honestly not hesitate to recommend Mayfield nursery to anyone.

What a lovely friendly place. My twins have loved every second of their time there. One member of staff, in particular, was so kind and caring and the twins spoke about her very fondly. We are very sad to leave but we are moving to the country - if we were staying in London there is no other place I would want them to go. You are in safe hands!

My daughter (2 years old) recently left Mayfield as we have moved out of the area. She was looked after by this wonderful team for 10 months. I feel truly indebted to the superb staff at Mayfield for their level of dedication and professionalism when looking after her. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. It is a family-run venture which is immediately evident in the caring nature of all the staff members. This is demonstrable not only in the way they look after the children but also in their relationships with the parents. My little one had the pleasure of integrating into both the baby room and then the middle room. It's obvious that a lot of thought goes into preparing for the day ahead with new activities being introduced almost daily. She really enjoyed her days there and would often speak about the staff fondly at home. Towards the end of her time at Mayfield, I actually struggled to get her to leave at the end of the day! It's a truly wonderful place.

My 2 year old daughter had a wonderful time at Mayfield. It's an incredibly friendly place and she's been made to feel so welcome. The staff are very professional and very caring and the activities are very creative. I would highly recommend it.

Our children were very happy there all these years and we are sad that it's come to end now that our youngest is starting nursery school.

Mayfield is a unique, family run nursery/preschool where you really feel part of a special community. We would not hesitate to recommend Mayfield to anyone looking for truly child-centred care.

Mayfield has a family feel with a professional backbone. The family that run Mayfield really care about the children and the staff, which benefits the children. My son is always happy to be there and enjoys the activities he is exposed to. He has improved in his speech and social interactions, sharing a little better than he used to! The nursery is very relaxed and, unlike many others I visited, doesn't feel like it's being run as a military exercise in health and safety. They take this seriously but it's not the main driver of what they are there to do. They are flexible as well in terms of fitting in extra hours if they can. The environment is super, spacious light and airy with a decent outside space.

Our son came on in leaps and bounds at this nursery. We would highly recommend the nursery - it feels like a big extended family :)

This is a great nursery. Both of my children have been there and really thrived. The care is outstanding. The staff really love the kids and show it. There is a very good focus on education standards, but not so much that they forget the fun or the support. The food is nutritious and nice. There is a good range of toys and games. The outside space is a good size and the kids are encouraged to be outside as much as they can be. The costs are reasonable by the standards of SW London. The administration is competent and approachable. All in all, a great place. No safeguarding concerns. After 5 1/2 years, we have no regrets at all at sending our kids there.

As you can probably tell I rate this nursery very highly and guarantee as soon as you have your first visit you will be sold!

My son attended Mayfield for a year. It was his first experience of nursery so we were anxious but the staff at Mayfield are warm, welcoming and understanding and he settled in well with their help. He spent most of the year in the Middle Room and then progressed to the pre-school room. He learnt so much during his time, not only in terms of education but also socially - the atmosphere in each room is calm and happy and the staff clearly care about the children. I would highly recommend the nursery.

Our daughter absolutely loves being at Mayfield Nursery and we couldn’t be happier! She is thriving and talks about the nursery at home. The staff always try to accommodate our needs and genuinely care about all of the children. I would recommend this nursery to everyone, it is excellent.

There are a good amount of activities (messy play, arts and crafts, singing, outdoor play) and the menu seems well balanced. My daughter is always happy to be dropped off in the morning and sometimes doesn't want to leave at the end of the day.

Staff are friendly and helpful. My daughter has learnt so much in the last 8 months and is very happy there.

She comes out with something new each week.

My son enjoyed two very happy years at Mayfield before we sadly left the area and I can honestly say I wouldn't have changed a thing about it. Mayfield is such a lovely nursery in every aspect. The staff are fantastic - so warm and welcoming to the children and the management are equally warm and friendly.

The fact that it is a family ran business is something that can be felt throughout - it is very personal, each child is treated individually and known by everyone who works there.

I would strongly recommend this nursery to anyone in the area. You can't place a value on feeling completely happy leaving your child somewhere but Mayfield hits the jackpot!
