Cherubins is a bright and spacious nursery located in the centre of Ladywell. The newly refurbished building provides a welcoming, safe and stimulating environment for children aged three months to five years.

Cherubins offers a very secure environment with a state of the art Digital CCTV system. There are seven bright and spacious rooms and a large outdoor area that has a range of playground equipment to encourage physical and learning development. The staff are caring and professional and have the relevant qualifications and experience to ensure the best quality childcare is provided.

A breakfast and after school club service are available and free parking is offered for registered parents.

It's okay and they work really hard to put on parties and events at seasonal times. We appreciate that. The kids get so excited at Mother's Day, Easter etc! Communication is not as good as other nurseries and things aren't followed through on. We also felt quite strongly that staff did not treat children
equally, there were obvious favourites. And some staff are absolutely fantastic and everything you want from a Nursery: warm, caring and like a second parent. Others don't have great communication skills, can come across sullen and some are very strict too. The new receptionist also leaves a poor first impression. It's totally acceptable and its location make it great for the commute. So if you don't mind an energetic place with lots of fun events and trips with some inconsistency in approach and turnover of staff then it's a very practical place where a child will likely be happy. I only hope they would improve the outdoor areas and the litter, and hire caring staff who stay

This was, honestly, not my 1st choice. When my first choice fell through, I came to Cherubins Day Nursery for a visit and fell in love with it that same day. I couldn't wait to sign the contract. My son started at the end of 2023, and we have not had any regrets. The staff are all absolutely incredible,
you can tell that they really care about the little ones. I love all the trips and activities that they do. There is never a dull moment. I look forward to the updates on the app, I am able to keep up to date with my sons development, and it has simplified communication with the staff. I would recommend them to everyone.

Child very happy at nursery and talks very positively about it.
Communication feels a little disorganised/sporadic.
Generally very pleased with the team. They clearly work very hard and put on lots of events for the kids.

We're really happy with Cherubins, the staff are all very friendly and really care about the children, and we've seen our son progress so much since he's been there. One thing that really makes them stand out is the number and variety of trips they do - he's been to the science museum, pantomime, beach
and diggerland to name just a few - which is something other nurseries don't seem to do.

Pleased with how quickly our child settled in at 11 months and we're sorry to leave for school in September. Lovely setting with a large play area, bikes, animals, etc. The staff are lovely and caring.

My daughter had an amazing time at Cherubins. She joined halfway through the year (as we moved house) and the staff did an amazing job at helping her settle in with confidence. She made friends, and played a lot outside (she loved it with there were animals in the nursery. But I think most of them have
been removed unfortunately). Overall a very positive experience, a great teacher, and very good food. She enjoyed going every time! Perhaps the place could be more clean is my only criticism.

Our son has attended this nursery for 2 years now and has enjoyed it, he has learned a lot and come a long way since he started. His key worker has been superb and has made our lives a lot easier.
We have had no issues and we are sad to see our boy leave!

Great trips. Very attentive to my son's needs, helped him with his speech by doing activities with him set by the speech therapist, and phonics. A particular member of staff has been amazing with my son as he took a shine to her. As well as another member of staff who supported him in his speech. My

My son started in April 2024, he has had the best time at Cherubins and we are sad that he is leaving. He has improved in so many ways since joining, I am totally happy with everything and everyone that looked after my son.
