We have had two children go through Mayfield. My oldest son started when he was 10 months old and left at 4.5 years old when he started reception.
We absolutely loved our journey at Mayfield. The nursery is family run and has a loving homely feel to it.
There is a low staff turn over and the staff
are fantastic. From the baby room, middle room and preschool - the care they show the children is really special.
The nursery is also purpose built. It has a beautiful open feel with high ceilings and windows giving lots of natural light. They also have a lovely big garden. There is a separate garden for the baby room/middle room and pre- school.
I can honestly say this nursery allowed me to thrive in my career as I always knew my babies were happy, safe and loved. I owe this lovely nursery and family who run it so much and I would recommend it whole heartedly.

We are so incredibly impressed with this wonderful family-run nursery. The staff, curriculum, outside areas and variety of activities and focused learning are fantastic. This truly feels like a family. The staff turnover is extremely low which is reassuring for us as parents and also invaluable for
the children being able to build relationships. We came to Mayfield after our daughter went to another nearby nursery for a year and decided to leave when they greedily increased the fees by 10% for the 2nd year in a row and also lost count of the amount of staff who came and left within a few months. Deciding to send our daughter to Mayfield was the best decision we made. Highly recommend to all.

We are so happy to have found an amazing nursery for our son. The staff are all attentive and incredibly caring. They are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for the children. The activities and programs offered are engaging and age-appropriate, it’s sweet to see them all interacting with

We’ve had our eldest child attend Mayfield Nursery, and our second child is currently in the preschool room. The care that both of our children have received is nothing short of outstanding, and I highly recommend Mayfield to anyone looking to enrol their children.

We are very happy with Mayfield Nursery for our daughter. Our daughter is clearly happy there, the staff are very kind and caring, and very receptive to suggestions and tried different approaches to help her settle when she started. They do a lot of fun activities and crafts that she brings home and
she has her speech and understanding is developing well. The communication throughout the day is good, and they are always good at filling us in on her day during handover, but I’d note that we would always enjoy more photos. The reason for 4 stars is that there have been a few occasions when support staff have had to be brought in as there is quite a high number of children in the baby room, and the children are not familiar with them which can be unsettling.

A lovely family-run nursery in South West London.
My 2nd child has recently started with my 1st having attended from 8 months until age 4. The best recommendation I could give is that despite the fact there are nurseries much closer to our son's school, we decided it was worth the drop-off inconvenience
to send our 2nd here where we knew he was in safe hands. The fact the nursery is a family-owned business is not to be underestimated, you really feel like they care about your child and are an extension of your family.
I really rated the focus on learning in preschool. Compared to friends, our son spent more time on phonics and numbers. The room head is fantastic and one of her deputies has been promoted recently into the middle room which makes me excited for my youngest.
I like the spacious feel of the nursery, the ceilings are high and the playground is large. Since my second started we’ve seen all of the positives again, as well as being really impressed with some of the new staff.

Having moved my two girls from another nursery in September last year I have been hugely impressed.
There is a really genuine feeling of care that the practitioners have for the children. The continuity of care is excellent - no agency workers.
The level of learning, particularly in the preschool,
is amazing. My daughter has learned so much in a short space of time. This has all felt very personalised to her and not pushy at all which is great given she is so young.
The food and facilities are very good - particularly given the price we pay which is a fraction of what we were paying before!
Overall hugely impressed. The place has a family feel and I believe our children are genuinely cared for by everyone.

Our daughter started at this nursery aged 10 months and recently left at 3.5 years having completely blossomed at Mayfield. The staff have been so attentive and friendly that she has always had a great time but more than that she has learnt a huge amount without ever being pushed too hard. We moved
out of the area and are struggling to find somewhere as good as Mayfield, we loved it.

We have had two children go through Mayfield Nursery now. From the age of 11 months to 3.5 years. We are finally saying goodbye after nearly 6 years in total, as we are relocating.
Mayfield has been such an incredible place for our kids. They have been so supportive, helping to develop our girls into
happy confident kids ready for school.
We recommend them to everyone we know. Our 6 year old still wants to go back! It’s an amazing place, full of heart, love and creativity.
Mayfield, we will miss you all so much. I’d still say you are the best nursery we’ve ever come across.

Mayfield is an excellent family-run, friendly nursery. Our two sons attended Mayfield Nursery from 10 months through to five years and have loved every minute.
Mayfield has great indoor and outdoor spaces. Each nursery room is well organised, with engaging activities specific to the age groups in
each room. My son is currently in preschool and they are doing a great job of getting him ready for school.
They have an app which is great for keeping you informed on the day-to-day activities with photos and updates. Healthy food, so I don’t need to worry about that.
All the staff are so friendly and welcoming, providing a stable, fun, nurturing environment for the children. I can’t recommend Mayfield Nursery enough.

My son happily attends Mayfield Nursery, they keep him actively engaged and they keep me well informed. The team are lovely and work hard to provide for the needs of every child, the food he receives is lovely with loads of variety and well prepared. He comes home tired and happy. We love it here

Our son attended Mayfield Nursery in the pre-school room for just over 12 months before leaving to start school. The nursery have been fantastic during that time. They have both good outdoor and indoor space for the children, they are always doing structured activities and the key workers were nothing
short of brilliant in interacting with the kids. The management side of the nursery is also run well, with considered amicable communications sent through to parents which I have found to be lacking at other centres we have used in the past. I can't recommend Mayfield Nursery enough.

We moved to the UK, Tooting, four years ago and now we are moving back to France, during this great (but challenging) experience, Mayfield Nursery has been the most stable environment for our girls and ourselves. My eldest girl joined Mayfield when she was 14 months and has found a lovely and safe environment
to grow with confidence and care. My young girl joined Mayfield when she was 5 months old and all the staff have been brilliant, she was and still is so happy to be surrounded by great members of staff and fun toddlers. During the pandemic, the Mayfield family has been amazing to keep a safe and healthy environment but also maintaining happiness and normality for the children. You are all doing a great and impactful job, thank you for everything, we are already missing you!

One of the saddest things about relocating is my daughter leaving Mayfield. She started at 11 months and is now nearly 2.5 years old. She has thrived there in both baby and toddler rooms and loves all of the staff so much.
I cannot recommend this nursery enough if you are in the Tooting/Earlsfield
area, it is fantastic!

Mayfield has been a wonderful nursery. Both my son and daughter attended from the ages of 1 to 3 1/2 years. Both children were very happy here. They both attended 2 days a week and I was a little worried that they wouldn't settle as well as they were not full time. However, the nursery staff were wonderful
at making them feel at home, safe, and cared for. Very impressed with how well organised the nursery is. Both my children have allergies and the nursery were always very careful to ensure that they were catered for and given the appropriate care.
I would definitely recommend Mayfield. It has a wonderful space, both inside and outside, it doesn't feel crowded at all.

My son has attended Mayfield since he was a year old. Both my son and I have been extremely happy with the nursery. It is a family run nursery where the owners and staff make you feel part of their family. The children are well looked after and there is a big focus on art and learning. The nursery has
a big outdoor space for kids and also take advantage of the grounds woodland area to create varied outdoor activities for the children. I recommend this nursery to anyone looking within the area.

Mayfield Nursery is an excellent nursery and I couldn't recommend it more. Our child has attended since twelve months and is now nearly four. The care is brilliant and each member of staff really does care deeply for the children. The focus they put on education and well-being is really strong. Having
such a big outdoor space is so rare for a London nursery, so children get to spend a lot of time playing outside, and also do sporting minis. It's a family run nursery and has a lovely family feel, plus all the meals are made in house and the food served is all healthy. Mayfield Nursery raises very bright, happy, healthy children and I would highly recommend it.

My son joined Mayfield Nursery at age 1 and has loved it ever since. It’s a lovely family run nursery, where all the staff are very helpful and kind. It’s lovely that the kids have a lot of space as the nursery has a lot of floor space. They’ve got a great outdoor space within the property for kids
to play as well as lots of fun activities inside. I would 100% recommend Mayfield Nursery as they have been fantastic.

My daughter has had the most wonderful time at Mayfield, made great friends, learnt lots and had great fun. Only leaving as moving out of the area.
The staff are extremely kind, caring and professional. Daily communication and pictures where a lovely way of seeing what they are up to and helps ease
you in at the beginning. The staff are very welcoming and always made us feel very happy and relaxed when dropping our daughter. Excellent garden and learning facilities.
We will miss Mayfield and all the wonderful staff. And I would highly recommend it to anyone.

We would highly recommend Mayfield nursery and are very sad to be leaving due to moving out of London. The staff are very caring, kind and our son really enjoyed his time there. He settled in well and was happy to run in every morning. The nursery keeps you updated regularly on daily events and communicate
well. We can only hope that our next nursery is as welcoming and caring as Mayfields. Big thank you again to all at the nursery!
