Bright Horizons Balham Day Nursery and Preschool

From the management team to the teachers, from the chef to the cleaning of all indoor and outdoor areas, I am totally satisfied and I would recommend Balham Bright Horizons Day Nursery and Preschool to all families.

We have been really happy with the care given to our daughters at Balham Bright Horizons. It is a warm and welcoming environment and the team really cares about the children and encourages a lovely community between the kids. They also do great activities that allow the children to learn but ensure that they have fun and enjoy their time there. The management and room leaders are also really responsive and help children to adapt to room moves or returns from holidays with lots of care and attention. We also love the outdoor space which the children get to use daily and the regular updates and photos on the app.

Bright Horizons Balham has been a blessing for our family. The facilities are top-notch, providing a safe and stimulating environment for our daughter. The staff are incredibly caring and professional, and the management team ensures everything runs smoothly. With a variety of engaging activities, our child is thriving here. In only three months she has started to answer questions in English (we are not English natives). We couldn't be happier with our choice and highly recommend Bright Horizons to any parent seeking quality childcare.

Great nursery! Outside space is great. New management is also really good vs old management from 2022/2023. Hours are really good too. 11 hours a day. 51 weeks a year works well. Expensive but worth it (just about). Kids play in the garden a lot which is nice. Would be good for outside people to come in now and again on a weekly basis and also take kids out somewhere for the day if possible.

Bright Horizons, Balham, has been amazing for both me and my daughter. Though it's not my closest nursery, I'm willing to travel the extra distance for the quality of care and support. The app is fantastic at updating me on my daughter's progress and day to day activities. I love the ease and effective communication between me and the staff. My daughter loves this nursery and settled in with ease and no hesitation. I look forward to sending my other daughter.

The care my daughter receives is outstanding. All the staff take amazing care of her and show her such kindness! I couldn't ask more of the team, they are absolutely wonderful.

I am really happy with Bright Horizons nursery, the staff are really nice and helpful and my daughter has really come a long way since starting in October last year.

We had a great settling in session. The manager was very friendly and tailored the sessions as per the baby's progress. Baby got comfortable very early. I have to compliment the kitchen staff because my baby loves the food here! One area of feedback would be to give more detailed status reports as to the activities they did every day and more pictures!

The Balham branch have been exceptional, they have put structures in place to ensure all children are improving and developing. The staff are very polite and they listen to all feedback from parents to ensure their level of services are maintained to a high standard. I've had a great experience and can't fault the staff for ensuring they maintain their high standards.

We have been very pleased with Bright Horizons and our boys love it here. All the staff are fantastic and we're sad to leave. They have both matured really well and their skills have really developed. The manager has done a fantastic job of running the nursery and the staff are fabulous!

My experience of Bright Horizons in Balham is very good and my son enjoys coming here.

Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. One of the largest nurseries in the area for indoor/outdoor space which was a big positive for us. Our child is very happy here and does plenty of activities during the week.

Balham nursery and preschool comes with outstanding recommendations. The manager and her staff are absolutely A-star. They work as a team. Their work with the children is absolutely outstanding. I like the consistency in the nursery and also encourage parents to continue at home. The staff are all well experienced. My grandson has matured since going to the nursery. He loves the nursery and will soon be moving on. I don't know how we are going to manage him leaving.

My daughter really enjoys going to nursery here. The rooms and garden are wonderful. The nursery promotes really good habits in the children which are important to us. The food is fantastic and I’m always jealous of the meals she has there! The learning themes are fun and engaging for the children. I’m really pleased the app is finally in operation.

My daughter wakes up really excited to go to ‘her nursery’. Very reassuring for a Mother to hear. The communication has still been great during lockdown and I know each day how much she has eaten, slept and what she’s enjoyed doing. It’s not been easy for anyone during lockdown/in a pandemic but Bright Horizon have made it feel so much more manageable and safe. I can’t recommend it enough.

I love the atmosphere in the nursery, there is nothing nicer than having your little toddler excited to go somewhere every morning and to hear the staff talk about your child with such affection. Every single member of staff are so welcoming and friendly and I have loved watching my little girl grow up in this nursery.

Our experience with Bright Horizons Balham Day Nursery was great right from the start. They have been super helpful and we can feel our son has felt loved and supported by all the staff. Even under the pandemic situations, they have been able to deliver all the attention that our kid needed. Our son was always happy to go to nursery, which is always reassuring as a parent.

We are very happy about our child's experience at Bright Horizons. He has learned a lot in a few weeks only and his social and language skills have improved considerably. He is more and more independent and happy. Thank you to the staff, always smiling and caring!

I can definitely recommend the Balham Day nursery. My son settled so very well here after we moved to the area. He enjoys coming here and is always excited to show me what they have been doing all day. the learning is great with so many resources. Management is always helpful they answer all questions. In general, the staff is great too. My son started only two months ago so still getting used to a little bit.
