Shining Stars Nursery & Pre-School

My daughter started Nursery in January 2026. We were very apprehensive about how well she would be, but the care and dedication by the staff have been exemplary. Our daughter has really been well cared for and even gets excited about going. We are always updated on her progress and on the times she became unwell with the usual colds, the staff have taken great care of her until collection, which has given us great trust.

Despite only 6 x months, we have really noticed the difference in confidence and small skills she has learnt with the Shining Stars team. They are always greeted with a smile, and can see when collecting how much fun she has with the other children and staff.

Both my daughters, now aged 2 & 5 have attended shining stars nursery and loved it from day one. They both would always go running in with a smile. The staff are amazing and have great communication. My youngest has the lunches they provide and seems to really enjoy them and my eldest who no longer attends asks to go back regularly and all the staff still say hello and remember her when we pick her little sister up which is lovely.

My baby started nursery this year and I was so nervous to send her but my gosh was I silly! The staff are absolutely amazing with her. She was quite difficult in the beginning and cried a lot but they just held her for as long as she needed to be held. It really warmed my heart knowing that my baby wasn't just another number and that they took care of her like their own. Thank you thank you thank you!

Lovely kind staff who really care about the children. Very good communication from the nursery to parents. The app they use is great. Facilities are good. My daughter loves nursery and has never grumbled about going. She always looks happy to see the staff in the morning and is developing well thanks to their kindness, care and professional support.

Wonderful nursery with such caring staff members. Lots of outdoor activities and holiday club also a great addition to the provision my eldest daughter has a great time and enjoys mixing with the younger children.

We have only been using the nursery for the last couple months however the nursery workers have been great, super helpful and friendly making me feel confident she is in safe hands. The new venue is lovely and I love reading the notes they leave on what activities and food our baby enjoyed each day.

The new setting is lovely and shows a lot of hard work has been put in to make it cosy and enabling for the children!

I am very pleased to have my baby at Shining Stars Nursery. My son joined the baby' group in January this year. During the day have great care and many activities. Definitely he is not bored. I am also happy as I received my son's paintings and each day, day description, so I am always informed how he spent day.

The staff at Shining Stars are all wonderful and the management team in particular are exceptional. They honestly feel like an extension of our family, they so obviously care about the children. My daughter loves it there.

You can clearly see the work that the staff have put into the new location to make it warm and inviting to all, the transition appears to have been seamless; and it fantastic to see all the children happy and playing.

We are delighted with our choice of nursery for our twins. I was apprehensive about them starting nursery as they had only ever been looked after by my husband and me, but they settled in so quickly and couldn't be happier to be handed over to staff when I drop them off in the mornings. They have both come on leaps and bounds in their development since they started and despite being twins, they are very different, which I feel is recognised and appreciated by the staff. From a practical point of view, we are also really grateful for the flexibility that is offered with term time only places.

Shining stars have been absolutely amazing with my little one. My little one has improved so many skills since starting there. The staff are super welcoming and friendly. They have been very supportive. I highly recommend them!

As a parent, that level of support means more than I can put into words. They have been amazing, compassionate, and so supportive and Shining stars wouldn't be what it is if it wasn't for the incredible management and staff. You can truly see it's more than just a job to them and I'm so thankful to them all for everything they have done to help my son blossom into the happy little boy he is today.

My son started nursery in January and since he has been going he has come on so much. You know he's had a great day when he comes out and he loves going to nursery and seeing the other children. The staff are very friendly and adore my son. They are so understanding about times because of my health.
