Would thoroughly recommend Shooting Stars! My little boy has been there since he was 18 months and he has received nothing but constant support and help which has nurtured him and made him bloom. My son is neurodivergent and every single staff member who has come into contact with him has been accommodating and friendly. The manager does a wonderful job and always opens the door with a smile. Six staff members in particular - you're all stars and we'll miss you lots! Cannot wait for my daughter to start in April. If you're considering shooting stars, definitely organise a visit to check it out. It's the best nursery around for miles!
Thank you so much for your kind words and glowing recommendation. We're thrilled to hear how much your little boy has grown with us and that our team has made a positive impact on his journey. It's wonderful to know that our inclusive and nurturing environment has supported him so well.Your...
My little boy has been going to this nursery for a year and a half he's shy and sensitive but is really coming out of his shell here. The staff are always amazing with him and he comes home at the end of the day saying he wants to go back, so he must have a lovely day while he's there. I love seeing all the activities they have been doing throughout the day on the app. They have a lovely garden and big clean rooms. It's genuinely such a lovely welcoming nursery and the staff really make a difference being so caring and helpful.
We're thrilled to hear your little boy is growing in confidence and enjoying his time with us. It's great to know the app helps you stay connected to his day, and we're glad you appreciate our caring team and welcoming environment.- The Shooting Stars Stourbridge Team
Recently they have introduced Spanish lessons to pre school 2 which is an added bonus that you don't often find in other nursery settings.
Our daughter has built wonderful relationships with friends and the nursery practitioners, she constantly comes home buzzing with all the activities (and occasional gossip!) of what has happened in nursery that day.
We're delighted to hear how much your daughter has loved her time with us over the past two years. It's lovely to know she's built strong friendships and bonds with our team - and that she goes home excited to share her day! We're also glad you've appreciated the introduction of Spanish lessons in...
Every member of staff has been friendly, encourages him to learn new things and always willing to talk through his day on collection.
Early years education is so important for our children and I couldn't recommend shooting stars highly enough.
It's been a pleasure watching your son grow over the past three years, and we're so glad to have played a part in his development. Our team works hard to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment, so it's lovely to hear that you feel confident in the care he receives.Thank you for your recommendation - it means a lot to us!- The Shooting Stars Stourbridge Team
I couldn't recommend a nursery more! The fact the nursery has nursery cam makes you feel at ease and shows the confidence the company has in its staff.
We're so pleased to hear your child loves coming to nursery and that our team has supported their development so positively. It's great to know Nursery Cam helps give you peace of mind - we're proud to offer that extra level of transparency and trust. Thank you for your recommendation and continued support!
My daughter currently attends and my son did last year. Both have thrived at shooting stars. The staff are so friendly and approachable. Nothing is too much trouble. I am currently potty training my daughter and at shooting stars they fully support this, 10/10 would recommend.
It's wonderful to hear that both your children have thrived with us. We're so glad our team has been able to support your daughter's potty training journey - we know how important it is to work closely with families during these milestones. Your recommendation means a lot to us!- The Shooting Stars Stourbridge Team
My granddaughter has been attending since she was a baby, she loves her time at nursery. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The managers are always happy and welcoming into the nursery, and can't do enough to help. She has made lovely bonds with the girls in the toddler room, she will often tell us about her friends and who she has played with. We are so grateful for the amazing care she receives, and the lovely homely environment and fun activities she takes part in.
Thank you very much for your review. It's great to hear that you and your granddaughter find our setting welcoming and homely, we firmly believe this helps the children to feel settled, at ease and therefore able to be themselves and play freely. Your review will also be much appreciate by prospective families looking to find the right childcare setting for their child. Thank you.
The staff are warm and welcoming and they have all got to know our daughter and always acknowledge her. It is such a fantastic nursery. Wouldn't send our daughter anywhere else.
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful feedback with us. It's the most rewarding feeling for our staff team knowing that the children feel happy, settled, and inspired in their care. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to your daughter enjoying Preschool 2 with us. Many thanks.
The staff at this nursery are so considerate of my child, both in their room and around the building. At nursery my child is so happy and since starting at Shooting Stars, has come on leaps and bounds. The staff are friendly and helpful towards myself and my wife. 100% would recommend
Our son started this nursery back in July. The staff in the baby room are incredible! They helped our son settle in as he was quite young when he started with such kindness by ensuring he was comforted when upset and by easing him into nursery life. In just over a month I can already see a difference in him regarding his development such as being able to eat with cutlery much better, trying new foods and having much more confidence to tackle situations independently. We are kept updated thoroughly with the app and the camera access gives peace of mind throughout the day. The nursery are really flexible with additional slots too and try to accommodate us where possible. We are so glad to have chosen this nursery for our son. Everyone here does such an excellent job and make your child feel safe, loved and valued.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, it's great to hear that your son has settled in well with us and that you're having a positive nursery experience as a parent too.
After a terrible experience with a previous nursery, my husband and I were very anxious about sending our one-and-a-half-year-old daughter to another nursery. We went to look around Shooting Stars Stourbridge and were instantly welcomed. It's such a bright, open, clean and well-stocked nursery. Every staff member is professional, polite and friendly. Our daughter joined the toddler room in May and absolutely loves it. We are so grateful to all of the nursery staff. Even staff who do not work in the toddler room greet my daughter by name when I drop her off in the morning and that makes the world of difference. My husband and I are so happy we have our confident, energetic, happy little girl back, and she's absolutely thriving at Shooting Stars. I highly recommend this nursery to parents who are looking.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, we are delighted to hear that your confidence has been restored by your experience at Shooting Stars and that your daughter is happy, settled and thriving in our care.
I cannot stress enough how glad I am that my partner and I decided to go with Shooting Stars Stourbridge. Our daughter has been going there since she was 7 months old and is now just over 2. In that time she's built bonds with the staff, made friends and learnt so much. Shooting Stars put our minds at ease very soon after our daughter started going. We were so nervous and hesitant to leave our daughter there to begin with, but this was due to our own worries as new parents leaving our daughter somewhere rather than a reflection of the nursery. All of the staff very clearly love what they do very much, and genuinely care for the children and make sure that every day is a day full of fun and happiness. My daughter talks about the staff, her friends and her activities there and it's great to see her back home after a day of painting, messy play, reading, earning medals from sports day in the garden and more. I cannot thank all the staff and Shooting Stars enough, I am eternally grateful!
Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! Our staff team care deeply for the children and we, like you, believe this shines through in their every day practice. Thank you for choosing Shooting Stars to care for your daughter.
My little boy has been attending Shooting Stars Nursery for over a year and he loves it! I know each day that he is in safe hands and in for a fun enjoyable day! His speech has come on leaps and bounds, I always get a daily update on his routine along with pictures and paintings of what he's made. It's a really lovely environment for him and all the staff are brilliant! Highly recommend.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, it is great to hear that your son enjoys his nursery days and that you, as a parent, are happy with his development. Thank you.
My daughter started a year ago in toddler room and has since moved to pre-school 1, she is excited to go and couldn't love it more. The staff are so friendly and helpful and are continuously updating her journal so I get weekly observations about her development. The nursery is clean and welcoming. Couldn't be more grateful to this nursery for helping my daughter grow in a safe environment.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, it is great to hear of your daughter's enthusiasm to come to nursery and that you, as a parent, are happy with her progress. Thank you.
Shooting Stars Nursery always look after my daughter very well. She’s grown in confidence since starting last year and loves coming to the nursery to see her friends and staff members. She starts her move into the toddler group this month so I cannot thank the team enough for how comfortable they have made her transition by providing her with short introduction periods within the group. Her existing key worker has continually kept me updated during her progress and it’s exciting for both my daughter and myself to take on her next journey in the toddler group at the nursery. Amazing team here at Shooting Stars!
Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review for our staff team and nursery environment. The views of our families are very important to us and not only help us to improve but help other families choose the right nursery for their child. Many thanks.
The nursery provides a range of activities that children enjoy and they have great indoor and outdoor facilities for children to explore and play with.
The staff at the nursery are great and approachable always providing detailed feedback upon collecting your children.
The nursery setting is always clean and they have a cook on site which is great as your children have freshly cooked meals each day.
My children have now both gone to school but they always remember the nursery as “a nice and fun place to be at”.
It's really lovely to hear that you and your children have fond memories of your time at Shooting Stars, and we'd like to thank you for taking the time to reflect and leave a review for our team and nursery. Many thanks, and all the best from us all.
Both of my children have attended Shooting Stars over the past four years, from baby room through to preschool. We’ve had a really positive experience, all of the staff are lovely and welcoming. The food options always seem good, nice outdoor space, really good variety of activities for them. We’ve been really happy at the nursery and we’re sad to say goodbye!
Thank you for taking the time to share your review about your family's experience over the years at Shooting Stars. We would like to wish you and your children the very best as you move on to the next chapter. Many thanks
Thank you to everyone at Shooting Stars Stourbridge for everything you have done.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review - our staff team will be so happy to read about your experience, especially in regard to the speech and language support your daughter has received. Wishing you all the very best from all of us at Shooting Stars Stourbridge.
The staff are lovely and always want to do all they can to help with a child's development, eg I mentioned my son liked the sensory books that day they had found them out and sent me an observation of his key worker reading one to him.
I find there are lots of different activities set up for him each day, promoting different learning, and he is loving all the messy play and outdoor play.
My son is always so happy to be dropped off there, and when my husband drops him off, my older daughter is there too, and the staff are warm and friendly with her too.
My son's key worker contacted me for a detailed development meeting, and you can tell she enjoys her role and really takes on board all feedback.
My son is a happy baby there, and it makes leaving him to go to work so much easier for me.
I have recommended the nursery to others, and other parents I know who sent their children there had lovely experiences.
My daughter has attended Shooting Stars Nursery in Stourbridge for one year and nine months and absolutely loves it. The staff are fantastic and so friendly and supportive. The staff genuinely care for and build a lovely bond with the children, and even staff from other rooms know my daughter’s name. It’s really lovely that each child has a key person, and you feel like they have individual care and someone you can approach. The staff have always made us feel very welcome, and from her first day, it has been a warm and welcoming environment. The communication is excellent, and I really enjoy getting updates on the app, photos and a daily diary. My daughter is always happy to go into the nursery and really enjoys the different learning activities, outdoor area and toys and resources. The variety of meals and snacks is great, and my daughter always eats well and enjoys her food. Recently, we have started potty training, and the staff in her room have been so supportive of this. All in all, fantastic!

Meet the Team (2)
Tracy joined Shooting Stars Nurseries in 2011, at a time when the group had just one nursery setting. She was originally appointed as Deputy Manager at the Stourbridge nursery before stepping into the role of Nursery Manager in 2013. In 2015, she progressed into her current role as Area Manager, bringing with her a wealth of experience from a career in Early Years that spans over 28 years.
Before joining Shooting Stars, Tracy worked across a variety of practitioner, leadership, and senior leadership roles within day nursery settings. Her career also includes time spent as part of a specialist support team working with children who had experienced spinal cord injuries, and she began her journey in childcare as a nanny. Her long-standing commitment to Shooting Stars has made the organisation feel like an extension of herself—she often says it’s as much a part of her as she is of it.
Tracy is deeply passionate about creating magical childhoods that nurture curiosity, excitement, and strong foundations for lifelong success. She has a particular interest in emotional well-being, believing that secure, emotionally enabling environments are essential for children to truly thrive. After many years of hands-on practice, she now channels her passion into supporting teams across the nurseries, helping embed this ethos into the culture of every setting.
Her leadership is rooted in empathy, experience, and a genuine love for early years education. Tracy continues to inspire those around her with her dedication to quality, her belief in the power of nurturing relationships, and her commitment to growing confident, capable teams.
Kully began her journey with Shooting Stars Nurseries in September 2014 as the Nursery Manager of the newly opened Wolverhampton setting. In 2022, she progressed into a strategic role, joining the Area Management Team as a Strategic Development Manager.
Her career in childcare began as a Level 2 Apprentice, followed by the completion of her Level 3 qualification. Since 2004, Kully has held a variety of leadership roles, including Room Leader in both Pre-School and Under 2’s, Deputy Manager, and Nursery Manager—spending 16 of those years in management.
These experiences have shaped her deep understanding of early years education and operational leadership.
Kully is particularly passionate about the development of children under two, with a strong focus on building secure attachments and nurturing environments that support emotional wellbeing and early development. She also brings extensive expertise in Health & Safety, SEND, and Safeguarding, which are central to her practice and leadership.
A key focus of Kully’s role is supporting the growth of the early years workforce. She is committed to empowering staff through continuous professional development, helping them build confidence and fulfilment in their roles. Well-being is at the heart of her approach—she strives to foster a positive, supportive workplace for teams and a safe, inspiring space for children.
At Shooting Stars Nurseries, Kully plays a vital role in welcoming new team members through New Employee Workshops and mentoring apprentices throughout their training journey, helping shape the next generation of early years professionals.
Outside of work, Kully enjoys spending quality time with her family and attending football matches as a proud supporter of her local club. She also loves exploring new cities, dining out, and meeting new people.
