Buttercups at Chalfont

We are so blessed!

Both of my children are so happy at Buttercups Day Nursery. The staff have been amazing at helping settle them and they have made fantastic progress there. My son has loved the Montessori classroom and his concentration and focus have improved so much.

Both of my daughters attended this nursery from around the time they were one until they went to school. The younger one left last autumn. I would highly recommend Buttercups - both of my girls have developed very well and become much more confident as a result of their time spent there. Thank you to all of the staff there.

Buttercups Chalfont has been amazing for us and we would highly recommend the nursery! All of the staff members are highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated, creating a happy and caring environment for the children in their care. The nursery adopts a very personalised approach for our two children, definitely not a 'one size fits all approach' which is enormously refreshing and shows their level of commitment and attention to each child's needs.

Buttercups has been amazing! My daughter has progressed so far since joining and is very comfortable with all the staff. We feel well informed by the staff and know exactly what the children are learning. Great grounds and always very clean.

I felt happy and confident leaving my 12-month-old in the care of the team at Buttercups at Chalfont Park. The settling process was over 4 days, and by day 3 she went in without any tears. She has only been there 4 weeks and the progress she has made is remarkable, she has gone from baby to toddler! The feedback you receive from the team on your child's day is spot on. The setting is clean, tidy, and modern, the teachers set up engaging activities daily, and always mark festivals and international occasions with the children. They take care of any specific needs your child has, and address everything with a genuine caring attitude.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. It's so welcoming and friendly and I feel really lucky that we are part of the Buttercups family. My daughter settled in quickly due to the fantastic staff who truly care about each individual child. At 16 months old she confidently strolls in by herself without a backwards glance and that's because it's a home-from-home. At pick-up, I always receive an anecdote about her day and initially they see which member of staff your child warms to before they assign her key worker. It's things like this that prove they really are concerned with your child's happiness and well-being. Having seen my son go through the entire nursery, I can say that each room provides the same first-class care. The activities are engaging and varied and my son has learnt so much. He has been challenged where appropriate and nurtured at the same time. The two-way communication is outstanding. His development truly has been a partnership between us and the staff at Buttercups.

Our daughter thoroughly enjoyed her time at preschool and came on leaps and bounds. She is leaving extremely well prepared for school, especially through the varied play and Montessori activities. Would recommend to anyone!

Great nursery. My twin boys love it here and I have really noticed a lot of progression since they have been here.

My daughter has developed leaps and bounds here. The teachers take excellent care of her. The nursery is clean, tidy and has the best facilities for any nursery I know!

Our son has achieved so much from Montessori teachers and the dedication staff have put towards nurturing him and teaching him. He absolutely loves nursery and I can't recommend Buttercups, Chalfont, enough! Truly a joy to see my son so happy here.

My 2 children love this nursery. My youngest was very shy and they worked hard to ‘buddy’ him up and help him make friends. The care and support for the children is exceptional and they have grown in confidence each week. The Montessori is fantastic and the staff will push children to a high level of learning if appropriate for the child. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery to anybody.

This nursery is very well run with excellent staff who are very caring and work so hard. It has made going back to work so much easier knowing that my son is in great hands. Management is brilliant and I’ve never had any issues with communication.

My daughter has been with the nursery for eight months now. She has developed so much and there is always a smile when we drop her off. The staff are amazing and keeps us informed of everything important. They also run great events throughout the year, which parents can attend and play with their children. Highly recommend this nursery for all ages 0-5 years.

One staff member in particular, always welcomes the children in such a happy, friendly manner each morning. My son always talks about the great activities in the Montessori classroom with that member of staff, they are fun and engaging. We are given a quick update at the end of each day, which is very helpful to parents and the email with pictures is such a brilliant way for parents to see what they've been up to. Thank you.

The nursery has a lot of fun and educational activities throughout each day. My child is never bored. The football classes are great too. My daughter tells me about it every week. Very well managed, overall.

Lovely teacher and wonderful person. Very approachable and sweet to interact with. They work hard on the children in the nursery. They maintain the positive environment in Montessori. One staff member, in particular, is a team player and encourages everyone in the nursery and the parents to work towards the development of the kids and to maintain the structure in nursery and Montessori.

The Buttercups team are always very welcoming and my daughter always looks forward to coming in each day. They have such a variety of activities for the children. There's no end of learning and stimulation.
