Our son has thrived at buttercups - the staff put so much care and love into their work to support and nurture the children.

Buttercups is an exceptional nursery, the staff, the setting and the care they give is incredible.
My son is happy, confident and loves coming.
The children absolutely thrive in this setting, the team go above and beyond.

My son is now ready to start school and much of it is due to what he has learnt at Buttercups. This is particularly from the Montessori where he has really developed. It is so unique being able to access the learning and the Montessori teachers who are exceptional!

My daughter has had an incredible time at Buttercups nursery in Chalfont. Since she started everyone has been very nurturing and supportive and she has grown in confidence. She has learnt so much due to the wide range of activities undertaken by the staff. I highly recommend this nursery.

We couldn't recommend Buttercups highly enough. Our eldest son attended for 2.5 years, and our youngest has been there for the past 18m, so the nursery has been a huge part of our family life for a long time.
The team have created such a warm, caring, family-like environment, and it has been lovely to see how confident and independent our kids have become during their time at Buttercups.
The staff genuinely care about the children and take the time to understand each child as an individual. We have always felt reassured that the boys were safe, happy and well looked after, which means everything as a parent.
Our eldest had such a special graduation experience, and it is quite emotional knowing our youngest is now coming to the end of his time there too. It really does feel like the end of an era for our family.

Thank you to everyone at Buttercups for the wonderful care, support and kindness you've shown both of our boys over the years!

Overall Experience

We have had an excellent experience with Buttercups with both of our daughters across all three rooms. The nursery is very well run with a highly responsive and communicative management team who will always and quickly make themselves available for any discussion. The care in the baby room is excellent, and we have always experienced warm, caring and experienced staff. In the provision, we appreciate the great outdoor space with the forest school and the Montessori learning to help our daughters be ready for reception. There are lots of opportunities for parents to be involved with the community at the nursery and come into the setting, which the children really enjoy, and it gives parents a clear idea of what the children are doing. We have been very happy, it is an excellent nursery.

Miss Kirti has been working at Buttercups for over 13 years, based in our Preschool room, teaching children aged 3 to 5 years. As well as guiding and scaffolding children with her outstanding Montessori teaching methods, Miss Kirti also has Forest School Lead experience and skills and engages children in our wonderful onsite Forest School every day and all year round! Teaching and challenging children to be the best version of themselves is at the heart of everything Miss Kirti does!
