Day Nurseries Owned by St George's Nursery Group

***Maria*** Had our children at this nursery for years when company changed back in July the only reason we did not move our baby is because of Maria. Maria is wonderful she brings so much joy and happiness to the nursery. When our baby started she had severe separation anxiety but with Maria she will always run in happily, when she is looking after her we give our full trust knowing she is cared for to very highest standards. She is lovely with children and amazing as a parent to talk to, it's like giving your child to family member not a nursery worker. So pleased to see her as acting deputy manager now, the company St George's would be foolish to not keep her on as permanent deputy manager, she is a real asset to the nursery and the reason a lot of parents feel happy leaving their children in her care. Having children at nursery for over 7 years can honestly say Maria is the greatest staff member we have had relationship with. Seeing my child happy with her brings me so much comfort

Thank you so much to the staff at St Georges - we saw several nurseries when we were looking and this one immediately stood out based on how happy and engaged the children were. We were not wrong! A wonderful experience and we are so grateful for all the care, love and attention you give to our child.

The staff are caring and supportive. The activities and tasks are engaging and age appropriate. Independence is encouraged at an age appropriate level. My son enjoys being in preschool and has great relationships with the teachers. He struggles going in most mornings but with a friendly face at the door he settles quickly. I would recommend the nursery.

The frontline childcare is excellent, but management and finance communication has been frustrating.

The staff are really engaging and my son absolutely loves going to school every single day. His development continues to progress rapidly and this is due to the sheer level of engagement provided by the team. As a parent when you leave your young child for the day whilst you go to work, it can be daunting but the team at Hucknall have really eradicated those fears due to the care and attention provided daily. Great nursery.

Yusaf started in April 2025 with the help of Katy's team he has fully blossomed into a cheeky little boy. With SEN he has always been treated the same with love, kindness & happiness. He's made excellent bonds with his key person Katy as well as other staff. I'm super pleased & happy to have sent Yusaf to St George's (Oadby)

Thank you so much.

St. George Meridian Nursery has provided my child with exemplary care and dedicated support. The staff, Abbey, Rachel, and the wider team, consistently demonstrate commendable patience and professionalism. Weekly activity schedules are communicated to parents in advance, and the facility remains consistently accommodating toward children who require additional support. I can honestly say my child is the first through the doors every morning.

We're so grateful to the whole team for loving and caring for our children as if they were their own. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better nursery.

My child loves attending nursery and goes in without a fight! The staff are so friendly and you can tell they really care for the little ones. I love the fact that they rotate staff through all the rooms so they can get familiar with all of them. My child has really developed since attending and they aid in independence with patience, which we really appreciate.

We couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough. Our son has been attending since he was one, and he has had the most wonderful time. The staff have always been so caring, kind and supportive, helping him to learn, grow and develop in a happy and nurturing environment.

He has made so many lovely memories and has always been excited to go in. We have felt completely confident leaving him in their care, knowing he is safe, happy and well looked after.

We are so grateful to the whole team for giving him such a fantastic start and helping him become the confident and happy little boy he is today. We truly couldn't have chosen a better nursery for him.

We truly appreciate the dedication, patience, and hard work of all the staff. Their commitment to our child's wellbeing and development has made a positive difference, and we are grateful for the excellent care they continue to provide. Thank you for making July such a happy and successful month for her.

Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel well informed about our child's progress and daily experiences. Every member of staff is friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about caring for the children.

Staff are really helpful & interactive with the children. Attention to health & safety & care is strong.

Excellent staff and doing great job.

Very good, loves it here, staff are very helpful.

My experience with St George's has been really good. All staff are helpful and our boy enjoys coming everyday. This has learnt so much in the time he has been at the nursery. So helpful when we needed to up the days Theo was in nursery was a very easy process. Would highly recommend.

Good overall experience, great staff, friendly. App sometimes not up to date. Food menu seems to have gone down and wrong food given sometimes. Need a few more stay and play sessions.

My daughter started here after having a really tough time at her last nursery. She settled in so well and her nursery experience is so much better. She goes into nursery really happy she runs in happy and will go say hi to all staff and children. It has been a massive weight of my family as we now know she goes somewhere where she is well look after and is the happiest she is. She asks me everyday if she can go to nursery now rather than crying she doesn't want to go. Thank you to all the preschool staff for making her experience as positive and welcoming as it can be! We will forever be grateful x

There's been times when I panic when I see their number calling me whilst child at nursery BUT each time the staff are checking in confirming info or asking for authorisation. Feel up to date
