About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- Working parents of children aged 9 months to 2 years can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 52 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
- This nursery applies up to 10 funded hours per day, stretched across 52 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 21.9 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

My child loves attending nursery and goes in without a fight! The staff are so friendly and you can tell they really care for the little ones. I love the fact that they rotate staff through all the rooms so they can get familiar with all of them. My child has really developed since attending and they aid in independence with patience, which we really appreciate.

My child started at high hopes in June, as a first time mum I was anxious but the staff immediately made me feel at ease about it all, they answered any questions I had, they are all super friendly and the nursery is so clean! It took my little one a while to settle in as she'd only ever been with family but the staff made the process as smooth and easy as possible, now she thrives, she loves going and in terms of her development she has come on leaps and bounds! I cannot recommend this nursery or thank all of the staff enough.

My son joined this nursery in March 2019 when only 10 months old and is now leaving 4 years later. What an amazing development we have seen in him. My son has enjoyed his time immensely at this nursery. Our sincere gratitude to all the staff for their patience, dedication, hard work and being passionate about their work throughout my son's early years. They excel in teaching the children such as basic vocabulary, numeracy and life skills to develop the children's confidence and independence. There is plenty of garden space for the children to run around at this nursery, which I find a big positive as the staff encourage the children to get out into the outdoors and play as well as teach them about nature. The food is vegetarian and cooked on-site and in plenty of variety. The nursery should be commended for its values and quality of care. He is now moving on to his next chapter but leaving on a high note and with expectations at his next stage of education.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments. We will really miss your son at nursery.

The best nursery in Leicester. I am French and I live in Leicester for the work of my husband. It must be said, that nurseries in France have quality standards to respect and it is not difficult to find very good nurseries in France, but when I arrived in Leicester, I visited twenty private (paying) crèches. The cleanliness, children's spaces, the outside (poorly maintained garden), lack of security, some nurseries had smells of meals offered to children, and one day, I saw High Hopes, Hamilton Nursery. I am very surprised, I visited it without an appointment to see what is really going on. Everything is there. The cleanliness is impeccable, each section of children has its own outdoor and indoor play area. The food is homemade. For the little ones like my son, the space for sleeping is very good. They keep me informed of everything. What really challenges me, is the cleanliness of this establishment, the quality of the activities, the spaces and the security. I am calm, every day.

My daughter attends High Hopes Day Nursery School and since she’s been there, she has developed so much. Her confidence has developed and she loves attending the nursery which is something, as parents, we feel so relieved about. I know they are not on Facebook or advertising anywhere, as this is a big concern for parents as we don’t know who can see your child and this is a big concern for me as a parent. But this nursery is so established and cater so well for children's needs, they should be recognized for their hard work and dedication for the community. The staff are so genuine, caring and everyone is so dedicated and professional in what they do in childcare. This reflects and shows what a quality Nursery this is - Staff and managers. They are so approachable and always welcoming. My child learns so much and I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a good quality care. This is the one - please speak to their trained managers who are always the most humble people I have ever come across.
