Overall Experience

I was very nervous about my child starting nursery but the experience we've had at St George's Meridian has been nothing short of amazing. My child absolutely loves going into nursery now, even waving us off and blowing a kiss. When we get in the car it's like they know they're off to have a fun day playing with their friends.
The staff in the baby room are so so lovely. They've got to know my child and his preferences so quickly. They readily reach towards the staff at drop off and the updates we get through the day show a caring, energetic and fun staff team dedicated to the children.
All you can really hope for is that your child is safe and happy and I know mine is.

Thank you so much to the staff at St Georges - we saw several nurseries when we were looking and this one immediately stood out based on how happy and engaged the children were. We were not wrong! A wonderful experience and we are so grateful for all the care, love and attention you give to our child.

Overall Experience

My child attended from age 1 to 4. We were generally happy with the care, but faced management and finance issues.
Positives:
Great Staff: When consistent, the team is fantastic. Outstanding staff gave us real peace of mind at handover.
Environment: Ongoing minor upgrades have nicely improved the setting.
Negatives:
Unclear Invoicing: Bills lack clarity. Responses to queries are vague, and inspire little confidence.
Inflexibility: My request for term-time only was rejected with the claim it is no longer offered, though other children still do it. A separate request to reduce from 5 days to 4 was also denied.

The frontline childcare is excellent, but management and finance communication has been frustrating.

Overall Experience

St. George Meridian Nursery has provided my child with exemplary care and dedicated support. The staff, Abbey, Rachel, and the wider team, consistently demonstrate commendable patience and professionalism. Weekly activity schedules are communicated to parents in advance, and the facility remains consistently accommodating toward children who require additional support. Overall Experience

We had a lovely time at the nursery's Stay and Play World Book Day session. It was such a well-organised and fun event for both children and parents. The activities were creative and engaging, and it was wonderful to see the children enjoying books, dressing up, and exploring different stories together.

The staff were welcoming and made the experience really special for the children. It was also a great opportunity for parents to join in and see how the nursery encourages a love of reading. Thank you for putting on such a lovely event - we really enjoyed it!

I like this st Georges meridian because they look after my children so well.I have two sons Beau is in Preschool and Noam is in Toddlers.Noam is well taken care of and they have a very good potty training routine for him.I have interacted with Claire,Abbie,Rachel and they are all lovely.Claire supports my son Noam in a person centred way and I love that.Meanwhile Abbie is very versed with details,welcoming and interacts well with them both.

Extremely grateful to st. George's meridian for supporting my son. He's been attending this nursery for more than a year now. He needs additional support and the nursery has been really kind and patient with him. The nursery senco(Abbie) has been great at tracking his progress, setting up targets for him. There's a lot of emphasis on the child and what works for them in their progress and development. Abbie always has great advice for parents to try different tactics with children who need additional support. My son has been struggling with speech delay. Due to nursery his vocabulary is improving, he's able say short sentences.

Specifically the staff(Stacy, Sakshi) build lovely relationships with the kids which makes my son love coming to nursery. He really looks forward to it everyday and is rarely upset to attend. Really pleased with all the staff and nursery overall. Really appreciate all your efforts. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of enrolling their children.

My daughter Anaya started her nursery at the end of January. It's her 3rd week in nursery now and I can see progress in her already. She has got clingy more but I guess it's because she has that phase of separation anxiety. Overall I really like how the staff interact and look after kids. I highly recommend it to other parents.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. Our daughter started in January 2026 and has settled in so well - she look is forward to going each day and smiles when we pull into the car park! She comes home happy, which means everything to us.The staff are caring, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do, and we are especially grateful to Rachel and Sakshi for helping her feel so safe and supported. The activities are engaging and we've already seen her confidence and development grow. My child has been at St George's meridian nursery now since Feb 2023, and he absolutely loves it and now he is preschool pandas, there's been a real change to his confidence, he used to be shy and it take time to adjust to situations but now he just jumps into every scenario! The preschool team especially Abbie are so good with communicating with us, each week we get an update on what they will be learning, talking, signing and playing about. We also get updates and pictures of them at nursery which is always lovely to see. They have also introduced us sending in pictures from time at home so they can share at circle time which I thinks great.

Our little boy will be finishing August time to move onto school and we will miss the St George's meridian family lots when it comes to it.

Hello, my name is Rachel Upton. I am a Nursery Manager here at St. George's Nursery Meridian.

I have worked in childcare since 2011. I have worked at St George’s Nursery since September 2016. I am a qualified Level 3 nursery nurse. I studied Health and Social Care at college, then went on to become a nanny before starting at St George's Nursery.
