We have been really happy with Monkey Puzzle so far. Our daughter joined Tweenies in October and we already see she is coming along in leaps and bounds. Her key worker, all the staff in Tweenies and the office are so lovely and have put us at ease. They have been particularly diligent with our daughter's milk allergy and you can tell how much time and care is put into the children's development and skills and just all around have their best interest at heart which is so reassuring.
Monkey Puzzle Woodford is an exceptional place- the children are clearly very secure and happy with their carers. The environment is sunny and cheerful almost always. My daughter has attended three nurseries and this is by far the best- staff are supportive of potty training, manners, and helping, and the curriculum is both diverse and fun, with many cultures covered and drama and singing lessons that my daughter adores. My son will be joining in the summer too!
The building itself is very spacious and well-equipped. The garden also offers a great space that the children use throughout the year.
Our son thoroughly enjoys going to the nursery and we are very grateful that we have had the chance to send him to such a lovely nursery.
Our daughter has been so happy at Monkey Puzzle Woodford. She is well looked after and absolutely loves the staff. They do a great range of activities with them too. The facilities always look clean and we love how big the garden is too.
We get daily regular updates from staff in her room, and her key worker is caring and always gives us updates at pick up.
I trust that my daughter is well looked after here and love seeing her gain confidence every day.
My twins have been attending the nursery since they were 10 months old. They settled in with ease and thoroughly looked forward to going nursery everyday. They are now in the preschool class, and we have seen so much development on both the twins, from helping them to feed, sleeping, speaking, interacting with peers and teachers and potty training.
All staff are very caring and nurture the child to be their best. The nursery is very clean and has fabulous in-house catering for the children.
Without any hesitation, I would highly recommend this nursery.

The staff have been supportive and encouraging through each milestone for my daughter. The food is freshly prepared and "nummy nummy" as my daughter would say. Nursery follows a Montessori curriculum, I feel that's been helping my daughter to be more independent.

Every morning and pickup I'm greeted with happy engaged faces, they're full of updates on her day from her eating habits to keywords spoken or even her mood pre/post naps. No detail is untouched and I'm always so impressed at how personable, attentive and knowledgeable they are week on week.
I receive regular, relevant updates knowing my daughter has enjoyed and been stimulated throughout the day which puts my mind at rest whilst at work.

My son has been attending Monkey Puzzle Woodford since he was 11 months old and I feel so content dropping him off knowing he's in safe hands and going to have a day filled with activities to help him develop and learn as well as lots of fun. The staff are all super friendly and professional and at pick up I'm always greeted with a huge smile. I love seeing photos of him and his friends and hearing what they've been up to on the app, as well as a log of meals, naps and nappies. I am impressed with all the extracurricular activities too, including charity days, visits from people and characters, (like a football coach during the European football tournament and last month a famous bear character stopped by), and most recently the Christmas fayre was brilliant, and chatting to the team, other parents and children made for a lovely big family atmosphere. It's also handy when I occasionally need to extend his day or book an extra day there is some flexibility and often it's possible to do so. My other son starts soon!

Our son joined Monkey Puzzle in January and we are glad we chose to send him there. He wasn't very happy initially, but Brenda and the others from the toddler room helped him settle down in the first few days! They went about it with so much care that he started to look forward to his Monkey puzzle days.
They are meticulous with their documentation and this has given us good insights into his achievements/highlights/learning areas on a regular basis. We have seen a great deal of improvement in his social skills, communication and vocabulary since he joined.

My son joined Monkey Puzzle in July 2024 at 18 months old, having already been at another nursery for six months, we moved to the area and I was nervous about resettling him at another childcare setting. I needn't have worried as right from his first day he has absolutely loved it, he always goes in happy and excited to spend the day with his friends. The staff were so thorough with settling him in and it made me realise how much more professional Monkey Puzzle is compared to his previous nursery. The staff gave him a care plan because he had some health issues, which his previous nursery hadn't done - and even though Monkey Puzzle is a big nursery, the staff all know his name and the time to say hello. It's clear that so much attention goes into every detail at MP, the day is so full of fun and learning for the children, he's always singing songs at home that he's learnt at nursery and he's learning so many new words every week. I hope he has many more happy years here before he starts school.

Overall the nursery seems like a very fun experience for the children. Staff and really friendly and try to give you a verbal update each day upon collection. My daughter has fit right in and made great friends and she has bonded with the staff and is always excited to go inside. Only negative is that the food doesn't seem all that interesting or nutritious and would be good to receive at least one picture a day to see what they're up to.
Professional staff, amazing setting, lovely garden. My son has been attending for around ten months and is very happy here, he skips in without looking back. Big shout out to his key worker who is amazing and he regularly tries to call from any phone he can find.

Our two daughters have both had a positive experience at Monkey Puzzle that was consistent from the baby room through to preschool. There is an upbeat overall atmosphere that all of the staff uphold and a genuine interest in forming bonds and helping children to develop. Close ties to local primary schools are also helpful.

He had a very well-looked-after settling stage after which he was moved from babies into tweenies which was excellent, he is now moving into toddlers and we can see the same care given to him as he received from the start. My name is Nosh Hussain and I am the Manager of our brand new Monkey Puzzles Day Nursery in Woodford.
I have been in childcare for 18 years and have experience of working with families and children of different needs, backgrounds and abilities.
At Woodford we are proud of the care we provide for our young children and do everything to ensure your child develops and grows in all areas of learning. Providing them with a warm, caring and stimulating environment to ensure that they thrive in all that they do.

I chose to take this path as I have always loved caring for children since I was young, my mum was a big influence in this as she also works in childcare. I enjoy making bonds with the children and the team, watching them grow and progress.

I have had experience working with young people in the past, however felt confident in my career change to Early Years as it is earlier intervention. I want to be able to help children transition well into the next stages of lives, such as going to primary school, providing them with the correct skills.
