N Family Club - Whetstone

As a parent of a 2-year-old girl. First and foremost, the staff are exceptional. Their dedication to my daughter's well-being and development is evident in every interaction. Some of the staff for special mention: the support manager and another staff member both are brilliant at their roles, always happy to assist. My daughter always has a smile when she sees them. The front of house manager always has a smile when she sees me and my little one every morning. Two other staff members who cook up delicious healthy meals for the little one. Last of all the Shore team, the room manager, she is an absolute credit to the N Family. Three other staff members they are brilliant with my little one and are forever encouraging her to develop her skills and independence. Credit to the whole team, I have never had my little one in two years saying that she didn't want to go to nursery. My toddler comes home happy, engaged and full of stories about their day, which is the greatest testament to the quality of care she receives in the shore room.

We withdrew our son from N Family Club Whetstone towards the end of 2023 following an incident where he returned home with injuries on his legs. The marks were in keeping with the distribution that would be expected from being tightly gripped by adult nails. This was a hugely distressing way to find him, and I would not trust this nursery at all.

Our son was previously in a small, home-based childcare setup so we were not sure if he was quite ready for a “nursery” setting yet, however, a last-minute relocation to East Barnet provided us with very limited options. When we came across N Family Club, we were pleasantly surprised with how warm, friendly and welcoming it was. Our typically shy 2-year-old settled in quite quickly thanks to the constant support we received from his key worker (with constant updates provided through both the app and dedicated phone calls during the settling period). Our son absolutely thrived in his new environment and we as parents have been impressed by the learning balance the nursery manages to strike well - focusing on playful, child-led Montessori-style activities but also development-focused skills that help children prepare for pre-school. The nursery also does a great job of hosting events to bring parents together, which we appreciate being new to both the area and nursery!

As a mum, it gives me great comfort in knowing that my child is safe, well cared for and happy going into nursery every day, and N Family Whetstone provides just that! Born at the peak of Covid with little interaction with others, my son’s confidence both socially and independently has grown tremendously. The staff are attentive and responsive and provide such a nurturing environment for our son. No one day is the same, whether it be activities or the food on the menu, which keeps him stimulated. We are overall extremely happy we chose N Family for our child!

With regards to safeguarding, they take this very seriously. They actively monitor the CCTV in all rooms and review the footage in the case of incidents to confirm and improve. My child’s carers have been meticulous in alerting me to any accidents promptly. It is very good but more transparency on overall incidents would be appreciated.

We are so happy our child goes to N Family Whetstone Nursery. They love it there and have such lovely relationships with all the staff. They have additional needs and the staff are so accommodating, helpful and proactive in helping, but also very invested in their progression. I honestly feel we are so lucky we chose this nursery and grateful for the wonderful staff as it’s really making a difference in their care. They have a great time every day completing new fun activities and games with their key worker and friends. We love the picture updates so much that we can see what they are all up to, especially on their excursions. Thanks, N Family Whetstone team for being brilliant!

All feedback is taken onboard and acted on swiftly with a follow-up to parents. Communication has been outstanding. They are caring, nurturing and positive. My daughter absolutely loves them all which is so reassuring to see. The initial reports we received for our daughter's development felt like a tick-box exercise without any detail/context. However, the most recent report we received in March was refreshing to read. It was so nice to get a glimpse into the development of our daughter beyond the day-to-day updates which shows us how much care and attention was put into it and showed they understood her so well. We will miss it once our daughter goes to school in September!

Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this beautiful day nursery to anyone.

Our experience with the nursery school has been nothing short of fantastic. From the caring staff to the engaging curriculum, our daughter has flourished here. The nurturing environment fosters a love for learning, and it's evident in her excitement to go to school every day. The facilities are great, providing a safe and stimulating space for children to explore and grow. We couldn't be happier with our choice, and we highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching educational experience for their child. The menu and food is the highlight of this wonderful nursery, the chef is the best.

The whole team are extremely nurturing and caring. Our little one adores them all and is so clearly happy when there, building sweet new relationships with more people outside our family and learning all the time. The quality of care, attention, creative engagement and educational support from the youngest ages is really outstanding. Our baby’s grandparent is a paediatrician consultant specialising in supporting babies’ development and even they are impressed on a professional level by this nursery’s approach. It was nerve-wracking to send baby to nursery under one, but our worries are long gone - we are so grateful now for this very stable, safe, comforting fun and exciting space to play and connect with new people while we work. Really can’t praise our experience with a baby at this nursery highly enough.

In summary, N Family has exceeded our expectations in every way. Our son is happy, thriving and learning every day. We couldn't be happier with our choice and we highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching environment for their child.

Choosing a nursery for my child was a nerve-wracking experience. I had doubts, expectations and some ridiculous worries. The staff and environment and N Family are happy, pleasant and always willing to help. I highly recommend this nursery. I am at peace when I drop and pick up my child. Everyone is responsive. It’s all I need as a mum.

My daughter feels more confident in society and enjoys her time at N family club. Since she started her nursery, she is developing more social and personal skills and we are very happy that we chose a place where our daughter feels happy and confident. The staff are very helpful and friendly and we always feel that our child is in safe hands. From the very first moment that she arrives at the nursery, she feels very great and wanted to say special thanks to the lady, who always welcomes every child very patiently and happily.

After visiting many nurseries, I knew N Family Club - Whetstone was the right choice as soon as we had our first visit. All staff are incredibly lovely and thoughtful. Rooms are clean and beautiful, with many activities. I love how we are updated by the app and how easy it is to communicate with the team, who are always helpful and kind. I'm particularly happy with how well my daughter's diet requirements are met. She has multiple food allergies and I was very anxious about her start at the nursery, but she is offered with many healthy suitable options and she never had a reaction. I'm very pleased with this nursery and I highly recommend it. My daughter seems happy and enjoying her time there too.

It is the best nursery that I have come across so far, giving I tried many nurseries before. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The nursery is amazing, spacious, well equipped, a lot of indoor and outdoor activities. The kids don't get bored at all always there are new activities. They have a separate mess room for the messy activities like cooking and painting which is very well equipped and they keep the main room clean and tidy. The app is very easy to use and has everything that you need to know about your kid throughout the day and easy communication with the staff. I am very happy with everything and my son loves it also, the main thing for me that I see him happy when he is going in.

I feel as a parent our voice and concerns are heard and when we have required extra days or flexibility in our schedule it is always met with the intention to help wherever possible.

My son has attended N Family Club nursery since August 2020. In both locations, we have nothing but the best service. He is always happy going in and just as happy when it's home time. Always learning and gaining new friends.

Having seen lots of other nurseries, we were really pleased when we finally visited and decided to send our son here. The facilities are well maintained and most importantly the staff are lovely. I really enjoy all the updates and seeing all the varied activities the staff members arrange for the kids.

It's a shame that N Family Club only opened in Spring 2022 & not a long time ago!

I must have visited ten local nurseries and finally stumbled across The N Family Club in Whetstone. This nursery is like no other nursery, it's clean, they have an amazing chef and it's run impeccably. The staff go above and beyond to ensure the children are firstly happy, safe and learning and developing new skills. My husband and I have noticed a massive difference in our son since joining the nursery. He is more confident, he has made new friends and he is becoming more independent. In the morning when I drop him off, I always feel like I have left him with his second family. There's no better feeling than knowing your child is in the best environment away from home!
