N Family Club – Whetstone is designed to support every element of the nursery's early years curriculum. The nursery is a purpose-built modern space that has large playrooms filled with natural light and clean air thanks to the hi-spec air filtration system. Just a short walk from Whetstone station, there’s a specialist art and cooking room, while outside, the garden comes complete with a sandpit, mud kitchen and water play area. Regular Forest School-inspired sessions and local community trips also form an important part of the curriculum.

N Family Club has been designed with the whole family in mind. There is a dedicated parent area with a breakfast bar, and the nursery run monthly online parenting talks led by experts in the early years. The standard day is 8am – 6pm, with an option to extend this by an hour to ensure flexibility for N families (subject to availability).

All nursery meals are prepared fresh on-site every day and are designed with the help with an early years nutrition expert. Dedicated to rethinking early years, N have designed their own bespoke curriculum with the help of leading early years experts. The curriculum is delivered through play-based experiences in order to encourage children to explore and thrive.

Our son was previously in a small, home-based childcare setup so we were not sure if he was quite ready for a “nursery” setting yet, however, a last-minute relocation to East Barnet provided us with very limited options. When we came across N Family Club, we were pleasantly surprised with how warm,
friendly and welcoming it was. Our typically shy 2-year-old settled in quite quickly thanks to the constant support we received from his key worker (with constant updates provided through both the app and dedicated phone calls during the settling period). Our son absolutely thrived in his new environment and we as parents have been impressed by the learning balance the nursery manages to strike well - focusing on playful, child-led Montessori-style activities but also development-focused skills that help children prepare for pre-school. The nursery also does a great job of hosting events to bring parents together, which we appreciate being new to both the area and nursery!

As a mum, it gives me great comfort in knowing that my child is safe, well cared for and happy going into nursery every day, and N Family Whetstone provides just that! Born at the peak of Covid with little interaction with others, my son’s confidence both socially and independently has grown tremendously.
The staff are attentive and responsive and provide such a nurturing environment for our son. No one day is the same, whether it be activities or the food on the menu, which keeps him stimulated. We are overall extremely happy we chose N Family for our child!

My child has attended N Family Whetstone for almost a year and a half. The staff members have been overwhelmingly lovely and responsive. They all know my child by name and greet her personally. The leadership team chips in with the kids, which gives me confidence in their decision-making and personalised
approach.
Any issue that I have asked for support with has been considered. I’ve been able to collaborate with them to identify a common approach, whether sleep issues, behavioural, or simply helping smooth transitional times for my child.
The food is exceptional, and I only wish they offered a family or weekend plan!
With regards to safeguarding, they take this very seriously. They actively monitor the CCTV in all rooms and review the footage in the case of incidents to confirm and improve. My child’s carers have been meticulous in alerting me to any accidents promptly. It is very good but more transparency on overall incidents would be appreciated.

We are so happy our child goes to N Family Whetstone Nursery. They love it there and have such lovely relationships with all the staff. They have additional needs and the staff are so accommodating, helpful and proactive in helping, but also very invested in their progression. I honestly feel we are
so lucky we chose this nursery and grateful for the wonderful staff as it’s really making a difference in their care. They have a great time every day completing new fun activities and games with their key worker and friends. My daughter has been there for just over a year now and the smile on her face every day when we drop her and pick her up from nursery says it all!
Since the team and management were established last year following some changes, we saw a huge difference and consistency in the care provided.
All feedback
is taken onboard and acted on swiftly with a follow-up to parents. Communication has been outstanding. They are caring, nurturing and positive. My daughter absolutely loves them all which is so reassuring to see. The initial reports we received for our daughter's development felt like a tick-box exercise without any detail/context. However, the most recent report we received in March was refreshing to read. It was so nice to get a glimpse into the development of our daughter beyond the day-to-day updates which shows us how much care and attention was put into it and showed they understood her so well. We will miss it once our daughter goes to school in September!

Such a wonderful experience within N family Club and especially N Whetstone.
The team are such a wonderful array of talent and personality which spreads through the nursery every day.
The smilies we are welcomed with every morning brighten my day and the warm coffee brewed from the kitchen is just
delightful.
The rooms are well-organised and well lit which supports my child’s wellbeing and the wonderful experiences shared on the nursery app are outstanding.
Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this beautiful day nursery to anyone.

Our experience with the nursery school has been nothing short of fantastic. From the caring staff to the engaging curriculum, our daughter has flourished here. The whole team are extremely nurturing and caring. Our little one adores them all and is so clearly happy when there, building sweet new relationships with more people outside our family and learning all the time. The quality of care, attention, creative engagement and educational support from the youngest
ages is really outstanding. Our baby’s grandparent is a paediatrician consultant specialising in supporting babies’ development and even they are impressed on a professional level by this nursery’s approach. It was nerve-wracking to send baby to nursery under one, but our worries are long gone - we are so grateful now for this very stable, safe, comforting fun and exciting space to play and connect with new people while we work. Really can’t praise our experience with a baby at this nursery highly enough.

I'm thrilled to share my positive experience with N Family. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that this nursery prioritises children's well-being and development.
The staff members are exceptional; caring, patient and skilled at nurturing young minds. They create a warm and welcoming atmosphere,
making it easier for children to transition from home to nursery. I appreciate how they take the time to understand each child's unique needs and adapt activities accordingly.
Communication with parents is outstanding, regular updates ensure that we are always informed about our child's progress and any concerns are addressed promptly.

After visiting many nurseries, I knew N Family Club - Whetstone was the right choice as soon as we had our first visit. All staff are incredibly lovely and thoughtful. Rooms are clean and beautiful, with many activities. I love how we are updated by the app and how easy it is to communicate with the
team, who are always helpful and kind. I'm particularly happy with how well my daughter's diet requirements are met. She has multiple food allergies and I was very anxious about her start at the nursery, but she is offered with many healthy suitable options and she never had a reaction. I'm very pleased with this nursery and I highly recommend it. My daughter seems happy and enjoying her time there too.

It is the best nursery that I have come across so far, giving I tried many nurseries before. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The nursery is amazing, spacious, well equipped, a lot of indoor and outdoor activities. The kids don't get bored at all always there are new activities. They have a separate
mess room for the messy activities like cooking and painting which is very well equipped and they keep the main room clean and tidy. The app is very easy to use and has everything that you need to know about your kid throughout the day and easy communication with the staff. I am very happy with everything and my son loves it also, the main thing for me that I see him happy when he is going in.

Our daughter has been at N Whetstone since May 2022 and we have all had a really positive experience.
Staff are great, professional, approachable and most of all brilliant with the children including those that are not directly responsible for their care.
I am impressed every week by the incredible
menu that is balanced, nutritional and interesting and having eaten some of the food at parents' events am sure it tastes great too. Morning coffee and pastries for parents daily too!
Every effort is made to inform and includes parents including family sports days and special events that help develop relationships with the team and also with other parents.
The setting is scandi inspired but goes beyond just being socially friendly, the thought that goes into play, facilities and activities is clear.
I feel as a parent our voice and concerns are heard and when we have required extra days or flexibility in our schedule it is always met with the intention to help wherever possible.

Having seen lots of other nurseries, we were really pleased when we finally visited and decided to send our son here. The facilities are well maintained and most importantly the staff are lovely. As a mother of a child who has sensory needs, I was extremely worried about him settling into a new nursery at the end of August 2022. However, I am so pleased and thankful for the wonderful management and staff at the nursery for paying massive attention to this. I have noticed a big improvement in
his social and behavioural skills and it's lovely seeing how much he trusts everyone that works there. In his last nursery, he would be left alone to play in a corner or spin around in his own little world which is absolutely heartbreaking to see. Whereas now he has been shown to interact, share and join in group sessions.
The rooms are safe, secure and absolutely lovely to be in. Lots of comfy bean bags and very clean.
It's a shame that N Family Club only opened in Spring 2022 & not a long time ago!

I must have visited ten local nurseries and finally stumbled across The N Family Club in Whetstone. This nursery is like no other nursery, it's clean, they have an amazing chef and it's run impeccably. The staff go above and beyond to ensure the children are firstly happy, safe and learning and developing
new skills. My husband and I have noticed a massive difference in our son since joining the nursery. He is more confident, he has made new friends and he is becoming more independent. In the morning when I drop him off, I always feel like I have left him with his second family. There's no better feeling than knowing your child is in the best environment away from home!
