Hungry Caterpillar Day Nursery - High Wycombe offers an exciting learning environment for children.

The nursery cares for around 90 children from babies through to school age. Children are offered weekly Spanish classes where they learn new words through songs and group times and weekly music sessions exploring through music and movement across all three rooms.

The children in the pre-school room are offered another extra curriculum, a weekly sports sessions where the children learn new skills and try out many different sports. The onsite chef freshly prepares and cooks nutritious meals for the children.

The nursery provides an environment both indoors and outdoors that promotes curiosity, awe and wonder in children. The highly trained staff provide engaging and fun learning opportunities for all.

The nursery was rated GOOD from Ofsted in February 2022.

My little boy joined the nursery back in October 2022 since then the progression I have seen in his behaviour has been amazing. He was once at a nursery before this and really struggled with transitioning and expressing himself, since joining the butterfly room he has come out of his shell made loads
of friends, his speech has drastically improved and he’s begun to use his imagination and overall he’s become so creative.
I love how the staff set up learning opportunities and how often I receive paintings and pictures and feedback on his week.
My little boy has also started to explore new foods and get out of his beige food pattern, I often drop him off and compliment the smell of the kid's lunch as it’s clear they are supplying tasty healthy food options.
I also love the use of the app as it gives you the opportunity to communicate with the parents of your child’s best friend and I love seeing the forums of how much fun the children have had on a weekly basis.

Our son joined recently the nursey and his key worker is keen to help him in any way possible on his journey to be ready for school in September. Our son is happy to go to the nursery daily, he is stimulated and eager to tell us the new things that he has learnt.

The progression that we've seen in our little girl (3 years old) during her time at Hungry Caterpillar Day Nursery - High Wycombe has been astronomical. She is happy, confident, expressive, and the vocabulary and learning each week is incredible. We have not hesitated to enrol her baby sister (5 months
old) and again we're seeing dramatic results in development in a short time. The facilities are fabulous and the team is terrific with the children.

The nursery is a wonderful safe, clean and friendly space. The staff are always smiling and so welcoming to all the children.
The children participate in holiday activities as well as charity events.
The variety of resources available to the children is wide.

My little boy started in December at Hungry Caterpillar Day Nursery - High Wycombe. He loves going to see his little friends and the staff. It makes me feel at ease when dropping him off that he’s in good hands.

The care and support provided by staff has been exemplary. We get regular and detailed updates on our daughters activities and development which is great. When our daughter was behind in her speech the nursery created extra measures to encourage her development.
They also have added Spanish lessons
once a week which we as parents love the idea of.
I couldn't recommend them enough.

Good care and effective communication. My son really enjoys going to the nursery. Facilities are good and a safe environment for kids. Lots of garden space which most kids enjoy. Food menu has a good choice for kids not to get too bored with a repetitive menu.

The staff are understanding when my child was upset and they keep giving him care as it took a long time to settle but big step for every kid when they join the first time. Nice modern nursery very appealing and a nice place to be.

My son has been at this nursery for over 2 years now and absolutely loves it. He comes home with stories of all the exciting things he has done that day. I am always impressed with the cleanliness and facilities they have at the nursery including the garden which my son loves to play in every day. The

With this being my first child, finding the right nursery for us was very important to me. Upon our show around my first impressions were very clean, organised, friendly staff and had an overall warm feeling. The staff made settling-in sessions easy for both me and my daughter and gave updates through
the app to let me know how she was getting on. Fast forward 6 months and she absolutely loves walking into nursery to see her little friends, the staff always set up great activities, the food always sounds amazing and I love that I can still check up on her throughout the day via the online app. Every time I collect her she has a big smile on her face and as a parent, I don’t think you could ask for much more. Lovely nursery and very friendly staff.

Whenever I visit the nursery I am impressed with the overall standard of care and compassion the staff have for the children. As a grandparent, it is very comforting to know that my grandchild is in a safe, caring, loving nursery where their needs are catered for so well.

Our son is so happy at Hungry Caterpillar Day Nursery - High Wycombe. He is always happy to go and I know he is so well cared for there. He started at 11 months and now age 3 has made some lovely friends. He tells us all about his day and stories about what he got up to with friends and staff.
The
staff know him really well and this is important to me.
I highly recommend them and have no reservations about sending my second in a few month's time too.

My daughter has been a member of Hungry Caterpillar Day Nursery - High Wycombe for over a year. It allowed me to return to work with peace of mind knowing she was being cared for by a wonderful, personable and caring team. We have had the same key worker which has been brilliant for my daughter as she

Our daughter has been attending the nursery full time for just over a year now, and we have been so happy with our decision to send her here. She has such a good bond with her key worker, and the other staff in her room, and we regularly get detailed updates about her progress and how each day has been/what
shes been up to. The children have lots of different learning opportunities and experiences and the staff support the children to follow their own interests. She is due to move up into the next room soon and the staff have been very supportive in helping her settle into the new room and transition to a new key worker.

We fell in love with Hungry Caterpillar Day Nursery - High Wycombe on our first visit. It's such a calm and safe environment for our twins. A nicely designed, clean modern space with a great, varied and nutritious menu and lots of different spaces for the kids to explore. The staff have been amazingly
considerate and are all really lovely. We get weekly updates and pictures of their progress through the app about all the learning opportunities they've taken part in. Plus daily updates in person at pick up time. Can't recommend it enough. We're so happy we found such a great place for our little ones' development.

This nursery has been a blessing to our little one. He has come very far in himself from going two days a week. From being a lot more interactive with adults and kids and being encouraged into learning new exciting things.

Hungry Caterpillar Day Nursery - High Wycombe are amazing. They have really helped my son as he has a speech delay. They have been amazing with him by helping him with his speech, interacting with tasks and other children. He started off in the toddler room and progressed to the preschool room and he
has done so well for the past one and a half years hes been there. They are so friendly and caring and put 100% into what they do.
They have been so amazing.
