Rand Farm Park Day Nursery & Pre-School

Rand Farm Park Day Nursery is simply wonderful. Staff just care so much about the children and always make your experience at drop-off and pick-up feel personal, giving lots of time to talk about your child and their day. They always have such a great selection of activities out for the children to do and allow the children to have lots of freedom to be themselves. The activities they get to do on the farm are also amazing. Also, the food menu is amazing!

My daughter has attended Rand Farm Park Day Nursery for over a year and a half and has received nothing but outstanding care. The experiences and facilities they make use of there surprise me still and I can’t imagine a better nursery. The staff went out of their way to keep a food diary for her for several months when I was advised to do so which I’m very grateful for. It is lovely to see the updates of what my daughter gets up to on the app as well as a verbal report every day. I’m always amazed that they get to attend the seasonal special events that draw in paying visitors to the farm such as the Easter and dinosaur experiences. She has learned so much and has so much confidence thanks to nursery and I can’t wait to sign up my next child.

Excellent staff, surroundings and just an overall super nursery, would highly recommend. All three of my children have started and two have finished here, one SEN, the nursery has been excellent in facilitating him and helping towards all he needs for school.

My boys are in the baby room and preschool room and all of the staff are fantastic. They provide so much love and care for the children and as a parent - that makes me feel so happy knowing my boys are truly cared for and loved. All staff including the manager are always happy to talk and always take the time to speak. I would absolutely recommend this nursery to anyone.

This setting is an amazing setting in every way from their Ethos and the lengths they go to to make not just the children but their parents feel comfortable, my daughter has thrived since starting the setting and it's all down to the staff and her interaction with the Farm. Their rooms are beautiful and we love the Natural resource and how they encourage her to use her imagination and as we know a young childs imagination is endless cannot rate the setting enough.

My 2-year-old son attends this nursery and I cannot praise this setting enough. He never wanted to come home when I come to collect, which just proves to the level of care he receives is 2nd to none. The staff are all just brilliant with all the children and I love seeing how they are with all the children. I have never been happier with a setting and I would recommend this nursery to all my friends. My son has really come on leaps and bounds since being at Rand. So thank you to all the staff at Rand.

Our daughter absolutely loves attending here and has done since starting in babies. The experiences on offer are fantastic, and we love that she has access to the farm. The staff are all friendly, and we know she is safe in their care.

Both my children go to Rand Farm Park Day Nursery & Pre-School, two and a half years and eight months and I could not fault it at all. Brilliant nursery, always going on the farm and having the best time. My eldest has been there from nine months and it is so nice to hear about how much fun he has had.

My daughter is fifteen months old and in the baby room. She has been going to this nursery for six months now and since my last review six months ago she has grown into a very chatty, social able little lady. In the beginning, our daughter was quiet and took a while to warm up to new people but now she jumps (literally) at the chance to say hello to everybody. I have seen such a difference in her development, physically and mentally, this is down to many factors but mainly because of the staff looking after her, I always get an update on her day and photos. I have loved seeing her development and a big thank you to the lovely and very patient staff!

Absolutely love this nursery. The staff are wonderful and welcoming and they care for my little boy like he is there own. The staff take your lead on everything and are happy to adjust their day to keep in line with your child’s routine and needs. The facilities are fantastic and they are outside or on the farm at any chance they get along with being filled up on healthy home cooked meals and snacks throughout the day.

We get told everything she has been up to during the day when we pick her up.

The best nursery around by far! All the ladies that have cared for my two girls have been so friendly, welcoming and caring. The facilities are exceptional and I absolutely love that it is all nature based. The access to everything on the farm just extends the nursery and gives all the kids so many amazing experiences and memories. My girls love coming here and often ask to go on days they're not in. I can't thank all the ladies here enough for not only making my girls so happy on their days here but also all the support they give.

The children have the most amazing hands on experiences and alway come home exhausted which is a plus!! The food they eat is incredible! And we can’t compliment the staff enough.

My little boy has been coming to Rand Farm since December. The ladies are the best with him, so friendly and welcoming. He has come on leaps and bounds since starting here. He absolutely loves that he can go on the farm every day and seeing the animals

A dear friend once said to me that everything you learn that enhances you as an individual can be classed as a life stripe. Our granddaughter goes here and it is the most fabulous pre-school ever! She loves the staff, she loves the new building, and she loves all the activities they provide, above and beyond a normal school setting. Where else would they get to feed lambs or weigh out animal feed, watch cows milked weekly and have fabulous home-cooked meals and snacks so they learn where food comes from. This has been such an invaluable experience for her and I thank everyone at Rand Farm Park Nursery and Pre-school for these life stripes.

My daughter has been going to Rand Farm Park Day Nursery & Pre-School since September 2021. She looks forward to every day when she’s there! The staff are supportive and helpful when you would like to work towards a goal and if you have a concern. They have just opened a new preschool room there and it is just what three to four-year-olds need, a big open planned room. The children have regular visits to the farm and get to be mini farmers by helping collect the chicken eggs and feeding the lambs. Friendly staff! Meals vary from hot and cold meals which are made on the farm.
