My daughter has been going to Rand Farm Park Day Nursery & Pre-School since September 2021. She looks forward to every day when she’s there! The staff are supportive and helpful when you would like to work towards a goal and if you have a concern. They have just opened a new preschool room there and it is just what three to four-year-olds need, a big open planned room. The children have regular visits to the farm and get to be mini farmers by helping collect the chicken eggs and feeding the lambs. Friendly staff! Meals vary from hot and cold meals which are made on the farm.
Excellent nursery, my little boy loves it here! He loves the staff, visiting the farm and the variety of activities they get involved in! The staff and friendly and wonderful and I love the feedback after each nursery session. We’ve even booked him in for an extra day each week he loves it that much

My daughter has attended Rand Farm Park Day Nursery & Pre-School since September 2020 when she was six months old. They have been so accommodating with helping her keep to settle in and she has built up a really good relationship with her key worker. She enjoys going now and it's a relief to know she's happy there. I love hearing about her progress in focus week, she's always impressing me. The nursery is so accommodating and tailors the care they provide each child to their needs, like my daughters allergies, that she has breast milk that I take in frozen and purchasing equipment for the nursery for my daughter to use when she couldn't sit unaided. I'd recommend Rand Farm Park Day Nursery & Pre-School to anyone looking for a nursery in the area, it's fabulous!

A fantastic nursery. My daughter is absolutely thriving and always enjoys attending, she is always learning and her confidence has grown so much since she started at the nursery. Its such a brilliant environment and the children are so lucky to be able to visit the farm almost daily. My son has been attending this nursery since it opened. I couldn’t be happier with the progress he’s been making, and how happy he is to go there. He asks every single morning if he can go. The staff always go the extra mile and you can see how hard they are all working. After lockdown when he returned again after a long break, I was very worried it wouldn’t be the same for him, spending so much time at home with parents and things being ‘different’ but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The safety measures they are following really reassure me. He is so happy to be back and I know they are doing everything they can do make it a safe but still the same fun-loving environment for the children. The level of care here is fantastic, my son settled in well and has been going a year now, my aim was to send him to the preschool attached to our local infants but I was so happy with the activities, care and support from the nursery that I haven’t moved him. I just love it there and there is never a day that goes by where I think oh they should of done more with them. My son had so many intolerances when he first started it was unbelievable and they worked with me through it all, a year down the line he has no issues at all and has a normal diet but all of the children there used to know why he has a different coloured plate.

My name’s Sarah, and I am the Nursery Manager here at Rand Farm Park Day Nursery and Pre-School.
I have been part of the nursery’s journey since before opening in 2019, and it has been incredibly rewarding to see the setting grow from an empty building site into the thriving, nurturing environment it is today.
I am deeply passionate about early years education and take great pride in the high standard of care and education we strive to provide. Watching children grow, develop, and reach their individual milestones is a true privilege.
I am extremely proud of our dedicated team of educators, whose commitment, knowledge, and genuine care for the children is evident in the strong bonds they form each day. Observing the meaningful interactions between staff and children, and the positive impact these relationships have on children’s confidence, learning, and wellbeing, is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role.
Our unique farm setting provides rich, hands-on learning opportunities that support children’s curiosity and connection with the natural world. Being based on the farm allows children to explore, learn through real-life experiences, and develop a strong sense of respect for nature, animals, and the environment, with support from their educators and the team of farmers here at Rand.
Building strong partnerships with parents and carers is central to our ethos. We actively promote an open-door approach and value open communication, ensuring families feel supported and involved in their child’s learning journey. I am always around for a chat and believe that working closely with families is essential in achieving the best outcomes for every child.

Phoebe is a Deputy Manager at Rand Farm Park Day Nursery and works across all rooms, giving her a strong overview of both the staff team and the learning experiences provided for the children. Her cross-room role allows her to support consistency, high-quality practice and positive relationships throughout the nursery.
She has a real passion for Early Years education and is a trainee mentor, supporting team members who are working towards their qualifications. She is committed to developing staff confidence and skills to ensure the best outcomes for children.
