Everyone is very nice, welcoming and took the time to know my son before he started. Facilities are amazing, lots of activities. My son really enjoys it. The app is absolutely brilliant as well to keep us updated. Very happy overall.

I don't think I could have picked a better nursery!
The facilities inside and outside are fantastic. The staff genuinely care for our little boy, and concentrate alot on building a good relationship with him, sometimes we have to drag him away from his day at nursery! The app is good, and keeps us
updated daily on what he's been up to, what he's eaten, how long he slept for as well as photo updates.
The room my son is in has a slide that goes straight into the garden, I mean how fun is that! The nursery can use the facilities of the farm, so almost daily they take trips to see the animals, feed the lambs, groom the Guinea pigs, ride on tractors, play in the soft play, have picnics on the grounds, go to the playground, see the lama's, the list is endless! So many experiences that other nurseries just cannot offer. Also when the farm has special seasonal events, they take them too, for example visiting the elves at Christmas or exploring the pumpkin patch.

My little girl turns 2 in March and has been at random nursery since she was 10 months old. The staff love her like she is her own! She walks in at drop off and never looks back. It makes it that much easier to leave her. She loves the trips out on the farm and to the soft play. The ladies in babies
and toddlers are fantastic and really get the children engaged in different activities. My daughter has really excelled and come on in leaps and bounds with her development.
Credit to the ladies that put the time and errors into the children whilst parents have to go to work.

My two children have attended Rand Farm Nursery and we have had a very positive experience here. They incorporate lots of outdoor activities and visits to the farm as part of the education which sets them apart from other nurseries. My daughter especially loves petting the guinea pigs.
My sons speech
was a little delayed before he attended nursery but there was a huge improvement when he started Rand.
They have lovely nutritious meals and jolly staff members. With their new app you get to see what your child has eaten and what they've been up to throughout the day. My daughter looks forward to attending nursery and lights up when she talks about it. Thank you to all the staff members at Rand!

We cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. From the moment you walk in, you are made to feel genuinely welcome. The staff truly go the extra mile and are incredibly passionate about what they do, not just caring for the children but helping to shape them into kind, caring and confident little human
beings.
The positive impact they've had on our child is amazing. His behaviour, friendliness and manners reflect the values and support the staff provide every day. You can tell how much they care about each child's development, both emotionally and socially.
The management team also make a real effort to say hello and create a warm, positive atmosphere. As a dad, I've always felt supported and understood - even on occasions when I was running late, nothing was ever too much trouble and we were always met with kindness and reassurance.
An outstanding nursery with a fantastic team - we feel incredibly lucky to be part of it.

Since my son started at the nursery his speech and skills have come on leaps and bounds, I was worried he would struggle to adapt to a new nursery as we moved to the area when he was 3 and had been at his previous nursery for 2 years but he was made to feel so welcome st rand.
the staff in the pre
school room are amazing! You can see they really care about the children and look after them so well

We get regular updates through the app during the day and it's great to see pictures of our child enjoying

Our son started in babies at 9 months old and it has been a very smooth transition for us. The staff have been great and communication has been excellent with updates daily on the app and regular discussions about his next goals which has been the biggest relief being able to trust your child is understood
and in safe hands. Hannah his key worker was especially awesome as he just bonded and wanted to be around her all the time. He is currently in the under twos room and being open to the baby room he made a natural move to his key worker Kelsey. All the staff are truly amazing and a lot of effort is put in by the whole team into planning activities and regular farm visits and every person in the room has been involved in your child's day and happy to speak with you on handovers and he always come home well fed and clean (nappies) The management are hardworking and organised and plan many family events and fundraisers. Sarah the manager is always approachable and accommodating

We relocated to Lincolnshire last year and started our 4 year old in the Pre-School room. After a big home move and having been used to his previous nursery since he was 1 it was a wobbly start with the changes. However I cannot praise Rand enough, everyone was amazing and he settled in so quickly!
He enjoyed all the activities especially out on the farm he even wanted to go when it wasn't a nursery day! The facilities are excellent, there is always plenty of activities, experiences and trips planned with great focus on the outdoor space which we loved. We also credit the diversity of the staff across the nursery which gives the children different input and enhances learning. On a whole the staff were all so friendly and welcoming towards us as a family and by the time he left for school it felt like he had always been there and of course he will be back for kids club!
Ps. We love they do soft play for birthdays it's the cutest idea!

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. The staff are genuinely so loving, caring and attentive. It is clear they truly adore the children and create such a warm, nurturing environment. Leaving your child in someone else's care is never easy, but the team makes it feel completely reassuring.

The

communication through the new app is incredible. We love receiving regular updates, photos and information about what our child has been doing during the day. It makes us feel really connected and confident that they are happy and well looked after.

The enrichment opportunities offered are fantastic. Our little one loves going to the farm and soft play so regularly. There is always something engaging and stimulating planned in the nursery too, and it's lovely to see how much our child enjoys and benefits from these experiences.

We're so grateful to have found such a wonderful nursery and would highly recommend it to other families.

We are very new to the nursery, and my son is only 9 months old. As a very anxious parent leaving my baby for the first time, the reassurance, emotional support, and outstanding communication from the staff have meant absolutely everything to me. Every member of the team is so kind, hardworking, and
enuinely caring - you can truly feel how much they love what they do.
My son has settled in so quickly and it's clear how happy he is there. He is always content at drop-off and so happy when we collect him. Seeing the photos and updates on the app showing the activities he's been enjoying throughout the day is incredibly reassuring. The nursery has fantastic indoor and outdoor facilities and it's clear how much thought goes into providing enriching experiences for the children. I'm also so grateful for how well they have catered to his dairy-free diet, making me feel confident that his needs are understood and respected. I couldn't be more thankful or recommend them more highly.

My daughter has the most wonderful time at nursery, to the point where she asks to go in on her non-nursery days. The staff are all brilliant, caring and every day they go above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy, including us parents! And the activities my daughter gets up to - visits to the
farm, soft play, crafts, the toys they have to play with - she is a thriving 2 year old.
We feel very lucky that our daughter has a place here. Thank you

We moved our son here from another nursery, and I was so nervous about it after having a bad experience elsewhere and how he would adapt but I can honestly say its the best decision we have ever made!
Myself and my son have built such good relationships with the staff, they have always been so warm
and welcoming from day 1.
We love everything the pre school has to offer from the multiple activities they do daily to getting a spade and mucking out the donkeys!
The wide range of meals they offer is excellent, always a good variety.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 10 (9.966) out of 10 for Rand Farm Park Day Nursery & Pre-School is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 47 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 47 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.966 for Rand Farm Park Day Nursery & Pre-School is calculated as follows: ( (545 Excellents x 5) + (17 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 563 Ratings = 4.966
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Rand Farm Park Day Nursery & Pre-School is based on 47 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 104 number of registered child places is 20.8, which has been reached with 47 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
