My granddaughter had a bad start in life. We found the nursery by chance and never looked back the whole team have supported both and our granddaughter so much when she started she lacked confidence in herself and struggled with standing up unaided or walking. In the 10 months she has been there she has grown in confidence so much that now she is running about happily.

The animals, home cooked food, soft play, outdoor play, tractor rides and so much more is just the added bonus to what is an amazing place.
Since joining the nursery 3 months ago, our son has been so happy here. He is immediately settled on drop off and beams with happiness on collection. The staff are engaging with the children and they have plenty of activities in a day - we love the different themes that are frequently changed. The staff are so welcoming, look after the children so well, and give us a full de-brief on collection at the end of the day. It feels like one big family and no issue is too much trouble. The whole nursery feels very safe and we love the natural outdoorsy feel of it.
Really happy with the care my little boy receives at Rand Farm Park nursery. He's happy to come in and always has a lovely day. The staff always inform us on his day and greet us both with a smile each morning. Excellent nursery offering excellent care.

Rand Farm Park Day Nursery and Preschool has provided a fun, safe and encouraging environment from day one. My daughter has been attending since she was 18 months and she is now 4, her confidence is bigger than ever and her key workers play a huge part in this! My son has started in the baby room this year and the range of activities and opportunities provided surpasses anything I would do at home. I drop them off knowing they will be really well cared for, which is all you can ask for. Thank you all for being so amazing!
Both children have a wonderful time. They go on the farm which is a brilliant setting also. Great baby and pre toddlers area, with lots of wooden toys to choose from.
Honestly, what can I say? These ladies are amazing. My daughter has flourished with her maths, English, and attitude. I couldn't be happier. I recommend this nursery as they look after the children and also the parents. Thank you.
My little girl has been going to Rand Farm since she was 9 months old and is now 2, and she absolutely loves it. All the staff are so friendly, approachable and just lovely and amazing with the children. I have noticed such a difference in her development since going to nursery. I know we have a few more years left but we will be so sad to leave.
The food is exceptional and he eats like a king when there and the fact that everything is included really takes the pressure off me having to sort it around work.
The access to the farm and play areas is also a huge bonus and a different learning experience that you can’t get in other child care settings and the fact that the children are taken outside regularly is a really brilliant factor.
Overall, I cannot fault this nursery, I feel at ease knowing my son is well looked after and comforted whenever he needs to be as well as having loads of fun and really good food!
Senior management outside the actual setting are constantly changing the rules and are not as helpful as those who actually work on-site.

The staff are very accommodating and always made her feel relaxed even when at times there have been some emotional drop-offs.

Amazing staff and setting. Want a nursery with a family feeling this is certainly the place to be. My child has been here since baby room and now in preschool and the transition from room to room has been amazing and if we have had any issues the management have been A* at dealing with this.
Leaving your child in a childcare setting is never easy for a parent. However, Rand Farm Park Day Nursery & Pre-School is not just a setting - it is a family. My child is so happy here - his interests are explored and developed. His learning experiences fill him with awe and wonder. He regularly visits the farm and the animals, learning about responsibility at such a young age. As a mini-farmer, he goes to the woods on regular visits, taken by the tractor and trailer. The staff at Rand always go the extra mile. They really care. I am incredibly happy leaving my child at nursery, knowing his day will probably be far better than mine!
The setting has allowed my son to thrive - the social opportunities with the other children and the animals have broadened his experiences and made him more confident. The staff have been supportive of my child and me throughout our time at the nursery. My child is very proud of his nursery and that says it all.
My son struggles being left with anyone but his granny but the team were so good and he settled in really quickly! He now can’t wait to go in the morning. He has an amazing time and goes around the farm nearly every morning he is in. Seeing the positive effect this nursery has had is heartwarming.
The staff are very friendly and so understanding about everything. I could not rate the nursery higher and would recommend to anyone!
Our daughter loves coming to Rand Farm Park Day Nursery & Pre-School! She settled straight away in the baby room with no tears. She now gets excited as soon as we pull onto the drive singing “iya quack quacks” or “E-I-E-I-O”. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The online portal and communication are amazing. I love being able to drop her off and pick her up within her room and share her nursery environment with her. They are very inclusive and cater for dietary requirements and individual preferences. The activities and resources are child-friendly and engaging. They use lots of natural materials and sensory play for open-ended experiences. She loves visiting the animals on the farm. It really is above and beyond what you would expect for a nursery!
Absolutely amazing nursery, fantastic staff who are very good at putting you at ease when my little boy started. Staff are great at listening to my worries and am able to share any information and feel supported. My little boy loves coming here and feels the experience he gets here is far better than what he could get at most nurseries. He is able to visit the farm, interact with the animals and learn more than what he may have done in another setting.
Leah is absolutely phenomenal. She goes above and beyond for the baby room and you can really see the passion she has for the babies! They absolutely adore her. She will always remember everything I’ve told her about my son each week, and will always reassure me that he does enjoy attending, I love getting regular updates and even paintings which he has done too.
I look forward to seeing him progress throughout the nursery. And I don’t regret for one minute taking him so young to nursery as he’s absolutely thriving and it’s all down to the love and care they provide.

Sarah: Nursery Manager
My name’s Sarah, and I am the Nursery Manager here at Rand Farm Park Day Nursery and Pre-School.
I have been part of the nursery’s journey since before opening in 2019, and it has been incredibly rewarding to see the setting grow from an empty building site into the thriving, nurturing environment it is today.
I am deeply passionate about early years education and take great pride in the high standard of care and education we strive to provide. Watching children grow, develop, and reach their individual milestones is a true privilege.
I am extremely proud of our dedicated team of educators, whose commitment, knowledge, and genuine care for the children is evident in the strong bonds they form each day. Observing the meaningful interactions between staff and children, and the positive impact these relationships have on children’s confidence, learning, and wellbeing, is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role.
Our unique farm setting provides rich, hands-on learning opportunities that support children’s curiosity and connection with the natural world. Being based on the farm allows children to explore, learn through real-life experiences, and develop a strong sense of respect for nature, animals, and the environment, with support from their educators and the team of farmers here at Rand.
Building strong partnerships with parents and carers is central to our ethos. We actively promote an open-door approach and value open communication, ensuring families feel supported and involved in their child’s learning journey. I am always around for a chat and believe that working closely with families is essential in achieving the best outcomes for every child.

Holly- Deputy Manager
My name is Holly, and I am the Deputy Manager at Rand Farm Park Day Nursery. I have been part of the nursery team since 2019 and am passionate about creating a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels safe, valued and supported.
At Rand Farm Park Day Nursery, we place a strong emphasis on high-quality early years education, positive relationships and learning through play. We are proud of our dedicated and experienced staff team, who work closely with families to support each child’s individual needs and development.
Being based at Rand Farm Park gives our children wonderful opportunities to explore the outdoors, build confidence and develop a love of learning through real-life experiences. I am committed to maintaining high standards of care and supporting both children and families throughout their nursery journey.
Phoebe is a Deputy Manager at Rand Farm Park Day Nursery and works across all rooms, giving her a strong overview of both the staff team and the learning experiences provided for the children. Her cross-room role allows her to support consistency, high-quality practice and positive relationships throughout the nursery.
She has a real passion for Early Years education and is a trainee mentor, supporting team members who are working towards their qualifications. She is committed to developing staff confidence and skills to ensure the best outcomes for children.
Alongside her leadership role, Phoebe is also our in-house photographer, capturing special moments of children’s learning and development to share with families and celebrate each child’s nursery journey.
Ness- Third in Charge
Ness is Third in Charge at Rand Farm Park Day Nursery and the Pre-School Room Leader, where she plays a key role in supporting children as they prepare for their transition to school. She leads her room with confidence, consistency and a strong focus on high-quality learning experiences.
As the nursery’s SENCo, Ness is passionate about inclusive practice and ensuring that every child is supported to reach their full potential. She works closely with families, staff and external professionals to provide tailored support that meets each child’s individual needs.
Ness is dedicated to creating a nurturing, engaging and well-structured learning environment, supporting both children and staff to thrive during this important stage of development.
