Management is also helpful, I definitely recommend the nursery to anyone living in Durham and the surrounding areas.

My little girl and niece go to this nursery and I couldn't recommend it highly enough! All the staff are amazing, they do all sorts with the kids, loads of outside play. The girls absolutely love it there. My daughter was sometimes a bit shy at drop off but the ladies who work there are brilliant with her and she's always had a good time when she comes home. I always get filled in on what they'v done during the day and what they'v ate for tea, even the cleaners always have a bit chat to me. Lovely place and absolutely spotless.

There is a range of activities that the children get to do and this helps so much with their development. Thank you girls for all the work you do it is very much appreciated!

This nursery is great, they take such great care of our son, he really loves going here and has settled so well. The staff are all friendly and caring who really put you at ease. Wonderful summer fest recently with so many activities which really gave you an insight into what the kids get up to when you leave them at nursery. Daily visits to the farm at Adventure Valley is a massive advantage, I truly believe this is the best nursery in the area with a unique offering

The food menu weekly varies in different dishes and offers so much nutrition to our little growing one!

Absolutely amazing nursery. From the minute I stepped foot in the nursery to look around I felt warm, comfortable and instantly at ease. I was very impressed with the overall layout of the nursery. The facilities the children have access to are great. My little girl has come a long way socially in just a few months and I have the girls in the baby room to thank for that. My little girl has never spent time with anyone else other than family whilst away from me so I was worried she would take a while to settle but with the help of the nursery she has come on so much. She is confident, happy and relaxed when she is there and that reflects on the photos I'm sent via the app. Not only have they supported my daughter but also my feelings and when she first started they would ring and make sure I was ok too! They really look after families and I wouldn't want my daughter any where else. Thank you ladies I wish I could give you 10 stars

Nursery is great, my child loves attending and the staff are fantastic catering for my son's allergies. I feel very happy knowing my child is being cared for whilst going to work. He's always coming home smiling.

Communication with the nursery is really good too

Appalling staff and manager attitudes and no oversight nor safety measures in place! Our little girl attended for a matter of days before we noticed cracks in the sham of care being 'provided'. This included being left in wet clothing to the point where her feet were blue and crinkled, paint sodden clothing that they just let them do what they want in and worst of worst our girl only two was told to get down by a 'too busy' carer who was seeing to another child, seemingly too busy carer to put hands on our daughter to prevent her significant head injury. She fell backwards off a play kitchen that she should have never have been able to get onto, hence the no safety planning from the get go! We were told they had cctv footage but that this had not 'downloaded' but that they will recover it and show us, then the manager told us we can't see it lol!!!!! No investigation completed and a manager who couldn't careless! All in all, staff were very young and inexperienced with lack of safety!

We are thrilled with our decision to send our daughter here!

I can not recommend Adventure Valley Nursery enough! I am so glad our son has started here, he clearly adores it and will constantly ask to go to nursery on his days off. He comes home happy, full and tired out. We love how much they are outside during the day and access to the farm is an incredible bonus. In the few short months he has been with Adventure Valley, he has come on so much in every area, most notably his social skills and his confidence. He comes home talking about his classmates, something he never did at other childcare settings. He comes home singing songs and talking about the farm and the animals. The outside spaces the children have is amazing. The staff are all happy, friendly and welcoming and show a real interest in the children. We enjoyed Stay and Play sessions and bonfire night events too. We could not be happier so far with our experience of Adventure Valley.

My children love going to the nursery and have incredibly strong relationships with all teachers and wider staff across the nursery.

Fantastic nursery. Staff are very attentive, caring and reassuring. My child loves attending. We are kept up to date with everything going on in our child’s development and also anything that has been happening throughout the day or week. Photos are a very welcome addition that they send via the app. It’s a very clean establishment. With great and varied food options.

The nursery has had our child twice a week for a year. She is an amazing girl with complex needs on the autism preschool pathway. The nursery has been preemptively put in support, communicated with us and assisted with our child. The nursery deserves some form of Special Educational Needs classification as they have far surpassed every school/nursery that we have dealt with our other children who also have additional needs. They have a great ethos around all of the children's environment, they are very observant and I have nothing but praise for the entire team, both management and the staff on the floor.

The staff are so welcoming, my little boy struggled at first when he started nursery with separation issues. He has came on in leaps and bounds creating some amazing friendships with not only the other children but staff too. He talks about nursery all of the time, telling me all of the exciting things he has been doing. I love that this nursery is very outdoorsy which is perfect for my son learning through play and experiences.

Engagement with parents is great and we are kept up to date using the app.

He walked straight in on his first visit and barely looked back which is a testament to the great environment they provide. The kitchen always smells great and every time we go in there is something different going on. I can't wait to see how my wee guy thrives here.

Once the 2 year funding comes in, I shall be looking at more sessions a week.

We viewed lots of nurseries for our little boy and Adventure Valley Nursery was head and shoulders above them all. The staff are brilliant and really support each child, their needs and your parenting style. The children get a very unique experience at the nursery as they visit the farm nearly every day and have access to vast outdoor space and even soft play. The food is all made fresh on site too which was really important to us in ensuring our child had a well-balanced diet.
