As a very anxious mother who struggles with trust and separation from her children, I honestly thought that I was really going to struggle going back to work from maternity leave. But I couldn't be more happier with my choice of childcare for my daughter. The nursery is beautifully presented with so much to offer for all children's development. The staff treat my daughter with a kind and caring nature with a genuine interest in her well being and development. I honestly cant thank them enough for the contentment they have given me to go back to work. The nursery is well equipped and offers a clean welcoming environment with fun trips to the farm park included, which is an amazing perk of the nursery. In my experience every member of staff do their best to accommodate you & your child's needs. I cant commend them enough for the enthusiasm and care/attention they give, as it alway's feels like its more than just a job to them.

My twin boys attend and have done since they were 13 months old. I absolutely love the nursery as do my children. They have come on leaps and bounds and are often coming home having learnt new things. The enrichment opportunities are wonderful and I love how much outside play they get to have. I am very happy with our choice of nursery and look forward to having my children attend for the next couple of years before school!

Our daughter has developed so much since starting in the baby room. She always has a great day. They encourage her to do things like crawling and have made so much progress. The staff are great and we meet to talk about the targets set to help her develop. They really have her best interests at heart. Helping her be more independent and nurturing her capabilities. They regularly take the children to the soft play and to see the animals. Our Daughter loves it.

Our son has attended Adventure Valley nursery now for around 5 months (since he was just 1 year of age) & honestly the care he has received has and continues to be exceptional. The planned activities, the staff, the trips to the farm/soft play and active encouragement to play in the outdoor space & explore with autonomy is over and above. The development we have seen whilst our son has attended is really incredible. The planned nutrition/menus are also extremely varied & to an extremely high standard. We cannot rate them highly enough. - Thank you!

My 4 year old is leaving to go to school and my 2year old is still attending. Both starting at 9months old. They love the nursery and there is always an adventure to be had. The girls are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. As a parent I always feel welcomed and listened to with regular updates on development and concerns. I am glad I found this nursery and going to the farm I believe has developed confidence and excitement everyday.

We can't thank Adventure Valley Nursery enough for the love, patience, and incredible support they've given our child and our whole family. From the very beginning, they've gone the extra mile to support our child's hearing loss, making sure they felt included, understood, and confident every single day. As a fussy mam who asks a lot of questions and likes to know every little detail, I've always felt welcomed and reassured. The staff never made me feel like I was being over the top-instead, they listened, communicated openly, and truly cared. Our child has absolutely flourished here-socially, emotionally, and in their independence-and that's thanks to the nurturing, attentive team at Adventure Valley. We're genuinely so grateful to have had such a positive experience. Thank you for everything!

I moved my little boy to this nursery in march from a different nursery. Even on our visit on the open day we noticed how much better this nursery was in comparison to others we had visited. It was cheerful, the staff are welcoming, the building is bright and colourful. There are lots of things for the children to do but mostly we loved the outdoor based learning they do and the regular trips to the farm. It's a fantastic nursery and my little boy enjoys being here. He gets up to lots of fun activities. Highly recommend. My sisters little girl also used to come here.

I cannot sing the praises of Adventure Valley Nursery any higher. It is an outstanding place, all the staff are so friendly and kind, most importantly they are all great with the children! Our daughter is still here (been going to the nursery for around 18 months) and we are so pleased to have found such a pleasant space for her early years which she literally runs into every day! The staff do so much with the children, whether that is inside activities, outside activities or visiting the farm and the odd trip on the bus! Best nursery in Durham by far!

My little boy has been in this nursery for 8 months now and I dont have a bad word to say about it! He absolutely loves going in to nursery and has developed such a great bond with all of the teachers and staff which has made going back to work alot easier for me knowing he is safe and more importantly, happy! They do so many different activities and spend lots of time outdoors which was important for me when choosing a nursery. My little one has a couple of allergies and they have dealt with them very well! I also love the app which gives me regular updates on what he has been up to and what he has been eating (which is useful for me as he isn't a great eater). 10/10 from us!

My daughter currently attends Adventure Valley Day Nursery and she loves it! The staff are absolutely fantastic with her and she is absolutely thriving. The nursery always keep parents up to date through the app and on pick up. Very grateful for photos throughout my working day of my daughter having so much fun. The nursery children being able to use the farm and soft play facilities daily is such a great perk! The nursery often have events on for parents & families to attend. We have been to a stay and play on pick up and recently a summer festival, which had so many activities throughout all the nursery rooms. Can't recommend the nursery enough!!

Staff are friendly, my son enjoys going to nursery and visiting the farm and enjoys his one to one sessions Management is also helpful, I definitely recommend the nursery to anyone living in Durham and the surrounding areas.

My little girl and niece go to this nursery and I couldn't recommend it highly enough! All the staff are amazing, they do all sorts with the kids, loads of outside play. The girls absolutely love it there. My daughter was sometimes a bit shy at drop off but the ladies who work there are brilliant with her and she's always had a good time when she comes home. I always get filled in on what they'v done during the day and what they'v ate for tea, even the cleaners always have a bit chat to me. Lovely place and absolutely spotless.

Absolutely fantastic nursery, my little girl loves it here. I honestly couldn't be happier with the care she receives, the staff know her so well. I would recommend this nursery to everyone! My little girl started in baby class and is now in toddlers. The staff are all professional and caring towards the children. My child comes home telling me about her day and 2 staff members in particular that she loves to see. They have regular trips to the farm which personally I think is fantastic for the children to do and always get outdoor play so they not just stuck inside. There is a range of activities that the children get to do and this helps so much with their development. Thank you girls for all the work you do it is very much appreciated!

This nursery is great, they take such great care of our son, he really loves going here and has settled so well. The staff are all friendly and caring who really put you at ease. Wonderful summer fest recently with so many activities which really gave you an insight into what the kids get up to when you leave them at nursery. Daily visits to the farm at Adventure Valley is a massive advantage, I truly believe this is the best nursery in the area with a unique offering

My little boy is currently attending adventure valley day nursery and I can honestly say this is the best nursery in Durham we've found! The staff are amazing, his speech has 100% improved and his little personality is thriving! The management is amazing, communication with parents are 5*. The nursery goes above and beyond, they organise summer festivals exclusively to the nursery attendant's and ask if parents would like to join to enjoy their days. The food menu weekly varies in different dishes and offers so much nutrition to our little growing one!

Absolutely amazing nursery. From the minute I stepped foot in the nursery to look around I felt warm, comfortable and instantly at ease. I was very impressed with the overall layout of the nursery. The facilities the children have access to are great. My little girl has come a long way socially in just a few months and I have the girls in the baby room to thank for that. My little girl has never spent time with anyone else other than family whilst away from me so I was worried she would take a while to settle but with the help of the nursery she has come on so much. She is confident, happy and relaxed when she is there and that reflects on the photos I'm sent via the app. Not only have they supported my daughter but also my feelings and when she first started they would ring and make sure I was ok too! They really look after families and I wouldn't want my daughter any where else. Thank you ladies I wish I could give you 10 stars

Nursery is great, my child loves attending and the staff are fantastic catering for my son's allergies. I feel very happy knowing my child is being cared for whilst going to work. He's always coming home smiling.

Excellent nursery staff go out and beyond for my children . Always very welcoming. Both children have come on leap and bounds since having them in adventure valley nursery Communication with the nursery is really good too

Appalling staff and manager attitudes and no oversight nor safety measures in place! Our little girl attended for a matter of days before we noticed cracks in the sham of care being 'provided'. This included being left in wet clothing to the point where her feet were blue and crinkled, paint sodden clothing that they just let them do what they want in and worst of worst our girl only two was told to get down by a 'too busy' carer who was seeing to another child, seemingly too busy carer to put hands on our daughter to prevent her significant head injury. She fell backwards off a play kitchen that she should have never have been able to get onto, hence the no safety planning from the get go! We were told they had cctv footage but that this had not 'downloaded' but that they will recover it and show us, then the manager told us we can't see it lol!!!!! No investigation completed and a manager who couldn't careless! All in all, staff were very young and inexperienced with lack of safety!

It's our daughter's first couple of days at nursery and ecstatic at how well the staff are treating her as well as us! We are kept up to date with how our daughter is getting on and both days she's been in, the staff have been excellent in caring for her where's she's returned as happy as she was when we left her. We are thrilled with our decision to send our daughter here!
