My daughter has been at Godstone Farm nursery since Jan 2026 and she absolutely loves it there. The staff are brilliant, so welcoming and genuinely very invested in our child's wellbeing and development. Their communication is excellent and very thorough. We love the experiences our daughter is enjoying each week with going out on the farm and being able to access the soft play centre. Overall, we couldn't be happier with the full experience at Godstone Farm nursery and would highly recommend it.

Both of my babies go to Mead Open Farm Day nursery, my boy has been going for a year and a half and loves it. Gets to visit to farm animals every-time he is in, gets nice food and does lots of different activities. Easy to communicate with and get good amount of updates throughout the day.

Both of my children attended Mead Open Farm Day Nursery, and both had such a fun time. We visited other local nurseries but nothing beats the farm location and soft play at Mead, where they get to explore and learn. I would recommend the nursery to all parents who want their children to have a lot of variety throughout the day at the nursery. There's something for everyone, our favourite was the fact that they visit the animals and learn all about them daily.

My son has enjoyed his time since starting at mead open farm nursery, he took a little while to settle into a new environment but the team made it so welcoming friendly exciting for him that he quickly held his arms out every time he was dropped off. We would highly recommend mead to anyone looking for an outdoorsy fun friendly and educational nursery.

The Adventure Farm nursery is absolutely amazing! My husband and I moved our son to this nursery back in October, where he started in the toddler room. We were worried about how he would settle as he was very unsettled at his previous nursery. However, the ladies in the toddler room were so accommodating and welcoming from the start which enabled him to settle into the room so much quicker than anticipated! The ladies have also been so supportive during his potty training phase too, which we are so grateful for! We are constantly kept in the know about how he is doing and any areas that they are working on to support his progress and development. We love the range of the activities that the nursery has available for the children and our son loves going to the farm! It really was the best decision that we made to move him there and we are excited for our daughter to join all of the fun in September. We would highly recommend this nursery!!

My twins really enjoy attending Willows Farm nursery. The staff are very warm and attentive, and they love all the activities they do, going to see the animals and to the soft play. Meals are healthy, and they love eating everything.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. From the very beginning, the staff have been so warm, caring, and attentive, and it's made such a difference to our little boy's confidence and development. At just 2 years old, he absolutely loves going and comes home smiling, chatting about all the fun activities, and clearly feeling safe and happy.

The team genuinely care about every child and create such a nurturing, stimulating environment. We've noticed huge improvements in his social skills, communication, and independence since moving up to the toddler room. The updates and communication with parents are fantastic too - it's so reassuring knowing he's in such capable and loving hands.

The nursery is always clean, welcoming, and full of engaging activities that encourage learning through play. It's clear how much effort and passion the staff put into making every child feel valued and supported.

I am truly very pleased with this nursery. I love the fact to they have so many options in and around the nursery. The staff is so lovely and always attend with a smile. They visit the farm at least once a day, even not twice. My son loves the animals and all the outdoor play areas. I wish my other kids had gone here as well. The only thing that I actually was not happy about was the price increase that happened since he started there till now. He started going here since he was one and is now 4 and will start reception this September. Over the period of these 3 years he's been here, there has been a price increase of £21/day. Which I actually found quite much over that time span. Also, when my son started potty training, they were really helpful, however we then suddenly had to start bringing our own pull ups to the nursery, whilst normal nappies were included. Something they can think about for the future to include for parents.overal very happy

My child has been at the nursery for a year now and we are so pleased with the care he has been given. The staff are amazing, they are all so friendly and attentive. The children do so many activities, they go to the farm every day, use the soft play and have plenty of outdoor play. My child loves it so much that we sometimes take him at the weekend! The food menu is so varied and we instantly saw a huge positive improvement to my child's eating habits. The daily updates on food/naps/nappy changes have significantly improved since they began using a new app, if anything hasn't been updated in the app then we are always informed of the details at pick-up.

Staff are exceptionally friendly and caring and highly responsive to act upon things in order to achieve improvement. This nursery is always gathering parental views to enhance their provision for all. They truly care about your child. We have worked closely with the SENDCO to tailor our daughters provision to meet her individual needs. Their safeguarding procedures are robust and children are safe and happy. The blend of indoor and outdoor learning has been perfect for our daughter and the nursery has to much extra to offer children due to being on a farm setting.

Great nursery and wonderful staff! My child started at this nursery almost 12 months ago and has made significant progress. My child has made friends and become far more confident and verbal. The nursery has certainly played their part in her overall developmental progress!

My grandson has been attending this nursery for over a year after attending a nursery and a child minder. I was a HLTA and have worked in several settings so I know early years. My grandson has thrived in this setting not only do they have access to the farm they have an enriched environment that is child lead for e.g. my grandson enjoyed Snow White so the staff organised an activity which had frozen objects which they had tools to dig with to encourage fine motor skills, the children pretended to be the dwarfs so were engaged with imaginary play the children then were encouraged to make cardboard pick axes which encouraged cognitive abilities . Not only did my grandson enjoy this but all of his peers had great fun. The staff keep you well informed about the day and send photos to show different activities relating to the EYFS. The food is always freshly cooked. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and easy to approach.Truly a unique setting that I can't praise enough.

My little boy has been attending Adventure Valley Day Nursery since September 2025. He is now 20 months old and positively thriving! The staff are knowledgeable, nurturing, and so involved - they all take such an active role in his care and I cannot fully articulate how much we appreciate knowing our child is in such capable hands. His confidence has grown immensely, alongside his gross and fine motor skills and his speech and language is phenomenal for his age. The wonderful staff have helped bring him along leaps and bounds and he adores them - to the point that he asks to go and see the staff by name on a Saturday morning and demands we take him to nursery! We couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery; they truly do go above and beyond every day. Thank you.

We are over the moon with the care and love that this nursery provides to our little boy. I was initially really anxious about sending him to nursery as he has a severe egg allergy but the staff put me at ease from the initial visit and went above and beyond by changing the full menu for the day that he goes so there is no risk to him. They took time to listen to my concerns and have a robust care plan in place for him. Our little boy is thriving, enjoying trips to the farm and getting involved in all the activities with staff and other children. We receive feedback every day on the app and just love seeing messages and photos from the staff to let us know about his day. I would highly recommend this nursery to any family in Durham and am so grateful for the hard work of the team every single day.

The "whole package" here is flawless-from the convenient location and pristine cleanliness to the genuine warmth of the care provided. The management and staff are exceptional; they monitor every detail of the children's development with such care. It is wonderful to see Rory excelling in his learning and, more importantly, seeing how much he loves going in every single day. If you are looking for a nursery where your child will be safe, happy, and encouraged to grow, this is it.It's a massive relief to leave him in such capable hands. Huge thanks to the whole team!

Your child also have the best days with the experience of the farm there visit daily with the added bonus of special themes flouring half term which there get to be included in.

We absolutely love this nursery, and our experience has been a game-changer for my little boy. He was initially very unsettled and frightened by the sound of other children crying, but with the help and support of the amazing staff, he has overcome so many challenges and is thriving and making so much progression every day. Everyone is approachable, kind, and friendly, and I feel completely at ease leaving my little boy in their care. The freedom the children have to go outside and play and explore is a huge bonus. I could not recommend this nursery enough.
