Shining Stars Day Nursery - Clare Road

Amazing nursery! My son is nearly two years and seven months when he joined Shining Stars Day Nursery. It's been only few weeks and he has improved a lot, we are very much happy. The love and affection shown by staff was fabulous, we are very grateful for that. Every day has new activities and they keep updating us on everything, like what they've eaten, when they've done nappy changes, they upload photos every day. Many thanks to staff for creating an environment in which my child is happier.

My little boy started here at Shining Stars at the beginning of September. He absolutely loves it, so happy when I take him. He's learning new things every time he goes - I get to see through pictures the lovely staff send me. The preschool staff are really lovely, friendly and, most of all, brilliant with my little boy. Couldn't wish for a better preschool and would highly recommend - five stars from me.

Both of my girls have gone here and the staff are amazing! My youngest is still at Shining Stars and is always excited to go in the morning and always talks about her teachers. I always recommend Shining Stars.

An excellent nursery. My daughter has been there for nearly a month and I can't believe how excited she is to go in every day. The staff are lovely and friendly; they are constantly updating me on the app, whether that be pictures or what she’s eaten etc.

Excellent nursery. Both my children have attended the nursery and have both always been happy and well looked after. The staff are friendly and are always accommodating and happy to help. We receive regular updates throughout the day through photos and updates of what my child has eaten and how long they have slept. Seeing your child happy helps to put your mind at ease, especially if it's been an emotional drop-off.

All his care workers always say he seems so happy when they visit, and they can see an improvement in his development since he started.

As a first-time parent, the thought of leaving my baby was very daunting, but as soon as I went to look around Shining Stars and met with the staff, I was immediately put at ease. My little boy loves going to the nursery to learn and play with his friends; he is always learning new skills and is always excited to tell me about his day. The app provides you with everything you need to know throughout the day, along with pictures of daily activities. The staff not only care for your child and build a bond with them, but they also take the time to get to know you as parents as well. Overall, a fabulous nursery.

My son loves to attend nursery with excitement. The teachers are very good and caring. I like app updates. They are taking care of my son very well. The nursery is very clean and tidy every time. Overall, good experience.

Excellent. My two-year-old daughter started nursery a few weeks ago and has developed so much since then. She loves going to the nursery, and she is super excited when she "tells" us about her experience. The staff are really friendly, very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure kids feel at home. Highly recommended!

My son started at Shining Stars after his previous nursery had closed. He’s settled really well and in such a short period of time. The staff are welcoming and promote a welcoming environment to both parents and children leaving me peace of mind that my child is not only safe but happy while I work. Even though he has only been attending for a few months, I have noticed nothing but good progression in my son's speech and development in all areas.

Amazing care for my little boy. He enjoys going to the nursery, and every time and comes out of the nursery very happy! He has grown such a strong connection with all the staff, especially his key worker! I feel like my child has come on so much since attending nursery!

My son joined in February, and he absolutely loves the nursery. There's plenty for him to do, and the staff are lovely. My son can't stop talking about the staff at home and is always looking forward to go back the next day. My son was nonverbal when he joined, and by months 3-4 was linking sentences. The effort the staff has put into my son is amazing. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

My daughter loved attending Shining Stars. All the staff were so caring and loving. Days at the nursery were filled with fun and educational activities. My daughter really bloomed there, going from a shy little girl to a confident and social toddler. She has some beautiful memories from there.

Excellent nursery with very caring and considerate staff. My daughter absolutely loved it here. Staff ensure that the child is happy and makes sure they work together with the parents as a team! Surely would recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic nursery in the middle of town.

Shining Stars management and the friendly staff take very good care of my daughter ever since she joined the nursery. She has been with Shining Stars for the past 18 months, and her learning and discipline are well improved. My daughter feels very comfortable with this nursery, and as a parent, I feel stress-free as they keep updating my daughter's activity in the app on daily basis.

Couldn't ask for a better nursery. My son is now in toddler, and he loves it. The staff are always available to help and keep me updated and work well with the children, plenty of activities that change regularly to keep them entertained. Modern and very clean. Five-stars plus.

Our child comes home happy every day after nursery, and we couldn't be happier with the service.

Our 2-year-old daughter has attended Shining Stars for 18 months now. She is happy, settled and thriving within the setting. During this time we have watched the nursery grow from strength to strength. From management to apprentices all of the staff take great pride in the setting and genuinely care for each individual child. They take great care in learning about each child and planning to their needs. They also hold regular parents events which have been lovely, from bedtime story evenings to informative parent information evenings. They are currently under renovation and have a fabulous new baby room with their own separate outdoor space, with plans to enhance the rest of the building imminently. We would highly recommend Shining Stars to any parents.
