Shining Stars Day Nursery - Clare Road

The Nursery staff have been great, they have given myself advice when I've needed it I.e with potty training and other development need, this is along with any future paperwork I will need, staff are always friendly with a smile.

The staff are all so lovely warm and welcoming. The communication is brilliant as well. Lovely nursery. Remi has really come on since she started attending. The app is great keeps you updated of your child threw out their day.

Our little boy started at shining stars in 2024 and we've never had a problem. All the staff are amazing, very friendly and are really great at helping him settle In. He loves all the food provided and all the activities, including trips to the library and the pet shop and several other places. Shining Stars nursery has really helped him grow in confidence and improve his social skills we couldn't be more grateful. Just recently our 2nd child has started in the baby room and he already loves it. The staff always provide regular updates on the app so your always kept up to date with everything your child is doing and can share pictures with all the family. I 100% recommend Shining Stars to everyone whose looking at starting there child at a new nursery.

Shining Stars is a great nursery with a great team. Having looked at a couple of others I'd been disheartened but on viewing this one I was immediately put at ease. My daughter started when she turned 2 and started in the toddler room. The first couple of times she went she had a few tears at drop off but the team were amazing and sharing happy pictures of her playing within half an hour of drop off. She went on to settle in really well and has since moved into the preschool room which she absolutely loves! Shining Stars has been a great place for her to develop, she's absolutely thriving!

My daughter has been attending since baby room and she has thrived whilst attending. She loves coming and has built such a special bond with every staff member, such an understanding nursery to mine and Poppy's needs and always go above and beyond to help us, thanks guys!!xx

Myself and my son have had an amazing experience with Shining Stars and all the Office and Baby room staff. My Son has settled in so well. I was very anxious about returning to work and leaving him, and they all made the transition so easy and smooth. My son absolutely loves his Nursery days. I'm given regular updates daily via the app. He has a good variety of different food and activities each day. I can't thank you all enough.

After some difficult months of settling in, with warmth and perseverance my son now loves going into nursery. The children have outings regularly and have outside play almost on a daily basis. There is a lot of variation in activities which my son loves.

Staff create goods bonds with the children, I was worried initially as my child struggled with being comfortable with unfamiliar adults but is now thriving. His independence has grown massively and it is wonderful to see the relationships he has grown with both staff and other children in his room.

Our child's is happy to go and all the staff really make him feel safe.

I'm really happy with this nursery they offer a wide range of activities for all the children and all the staff are amazing with all the kids and they parents, I have never had any issues with any of the staff or any of the rooms from baby rooms to pre school rooms they have been absolutely amazing. I really appreciate how clearly and respectfully they communicate with us. My son is very happy here and is learning so fast and loves to go everyday even demands on a weekend. I really appreciate how they make different meals for my son who has a lot of allergies and specially if he asks for pizza then the staff go out of they way to accommodate him. Keep up all your amazing work shining stars. Would recommend you to anyone out there one of the best nursery's.

Both my girls go to shining stars, it is brilliant in everything they do, my girls absolutely love it, my youngest started with really bad separation anxiety and I didn't think she would take to a nursery as well as she has. The staff are so nice and really good with the children. So glad I moved my eldest to this nursery when I did.

My son has been to shining stars nursery for around a year now and I couldn't or wouldn't recommend another nursery. My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting shining stars and I couldn't thank the staff anymore.Getting updates throughout the app is just amazing, knowing how my son is getting on in the day. My little boy really has grown since starting nursery and I can't wait for him to grow even more with shining stars!

During my daughters time with the nursery so far we have had such a positive experience. kind , helpful and supportive staff. Lovely environment and good cooked meals. My daughter loves spending time at nursery, knowing my daughter is with caring makes me so grateful.

Since my son has started coming to shining stars it has helped me a lot even though it's only for a few hours it give me time to sort things out that I can't really do when I have him with me because I don't have the time but now I do and the staff are so welcoming and lovely, cole is really enjoying coming to nursery as soon as he gets there his face lights up he loves it and it's helped so much so thankyou

I would like to see more consistency around hydration and general care routines, as well as clearer consistency around toileting checks and updates. More regular updates on quieter days would also be appreciated. I also experienced an occasion where I heard a male staff member shouting at a child for drawing on a wall. First directly outside the room and then from the bottom of the stairs (so it was loud) which I found concerning and felt could have been handled in a calmer way. While this did affect my confidence, I have tried to provide balanced feedback

I am very pleased with the care and environment provided for my 2-year-old son, Abdul. From the very beginning, the staff have been warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, which gave us confidence as parents.

The nursery offers a safe, clean, and engaging space where children can learn and play. I have noticed positive development in Abdul social skills, communication, and confidence since he started attending. The activities are well-structured and age-appropriate, encouraging creativity and curiosity.

Communication with me is excellent. I receive regular updates about his day, including meals, naps, and activities, which we really appreciate. It's reassuring to know he is in such capable hands.

Overall, I highly recommend this nursery to any parents looking for a nurturing and supportive environment for their young children.

Shining stars has been very accomodating and has staff that are all helpful and polite. My child is really not used to being away from us but staff has been very professional and patient in handling my little one. The place is also very clean and nutritious foods are always being served.

I am very confident that I chose the right nursery for my child.

My son started at shining stars in September last year and in the past 7 months the progression in his development has been nothing short of amazing. The staff facilitate learning in a way that he finds fun and easy to understand whilst keeping his attention. At first Tobias was upset (and myself) but the staff made him and myself feel so at ease and reassured to leave him there. There are even some days at pick up when he doesn't want to leave and as heartbreaking as it is the reassurance that he feels at home at nursery and comfortable and happy warms my heart. I cannot thank the staff enough for making the experience of leaving my child so much easier when it was something I was petrified of.

We couldn't be happier with Shining Stars Nursery on Clare Road. The care the attention, and genuine warmth they show to our son every single day is truly wonderful.From the moment he walks in he's welcomed into a safe nurturing, and engaging environment where he's encouraged to learn new things and grow with confidence.

The staff are incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, and it's clear how much they genuinely care about each child. They always keep us updated and go above and beyond to make sure every child feels happy and supported. It gives us such peace of mind knowing he's in such capable and loving hands.

Overall it is great! The staff are lovely and the environment is always welcoming. The building is always clean and ready for this children to enter. The rooms in which the children learn and play in are amazingly set out and ready for the children to start learning. Overall i think this is the best nursery for your kids and a great place for them to start learning all their key skills
