Next Generation Day Nursery (Barnehurst) has been operating since July 2018. They also have another site, New Foundations Day Nursery, located in Bexleyheath, operating since 2003.

The nursery provides children with a welcoming and friendly home-from-home environment and has a team of highly qualified and enthusiastic staff who have a genuine interest in supporting children to learn and achieve, they want to achieve that wow factor for you, they want you to want to come to their setting, they want to make you feel at home, they want what's best for all the children and continually strive for improvements to maintain their local reputation.

Staff are skilled and professional as they support children's individual needs and help them to become capable learners, staff build fantastic relations with parents and keep you updated on what your little one has done during the day through their app, you will get regular photos or video uploads through the apps secure portal, they find these offer peace of mind to many parents, seeing their child 'in action' speaks volumes.

The staff are trained to meet every child’s individual needs and help the children to learn and achieve in a fun, attractive and bright learning environment, they believe in re-investing in their staff and have a robust CPD programme to support their learning and enhance any areas of the provision for ongoing improvements.

The nursery is located close to the main road, and ideally situated for local rail and bus routes.

My son (just 4) has been going here for 2 years and prior to that, my daughter went for nearly 3 years. They love it there and the staff are fantastic, we get regular photos and updates of their day, what they have eaten, map times etc and it’s great to see how they are getting on.
Can’t fault it!

Amazing nursery, they provide such good care and the extra steps they take with children is brilliant.


They have a chef on-site that provide lovely meals and provide more than satisfactory steps to ensure that my daughter's dietary needs are met. They use a family app so I know what my child is doing

all day and the staff are just lovely couldn't have selected a better place for my daughter.

I really recommend this nursery! My daughter has been attending it for one year now and she is very happy! I was worried at first but then she settled and loves going to the nursery. She really enjoys the staff, who is lovely and really helpful and all the activities. She is really cared for and has
learnt lots of new things. She even cries on the days she doesn’t attend because she wants to see her favourite person! I am very happy with the choice we made for her to attend Next Generation Nursery!

My son attends this nursery and we are so pleased and everybody is so lovely. He has been there for 1 and a half years and always felt so comfortable and happy with everything. Also, I love all the activities they do with him and how happy he always is. They teach him lots, which is also great.

I’m so pleased with this nursery and my son is finally enjoying his time at the nursery! We had an awful experience with another nursery and I’m over the moon to have changed him. The staff are amazing, always with a smile and so very helpful. Two staff members in particular are excellent and my son
can’t stop talking about them. They take initiative and they have taught him so many new things. My son hesitated to speak English (we speak Greek at home), but ever since going to this nursery he’s begging me at home to speak English which is amazing!
I was speaking with a health visitor, and when I mentioned Next Generation she was like, "Oh don’t worry about your son, the Manager, and the other staff know exactly what they’re doing".
I love the app and the pictures they send. I have zero bad things to say! Thank you everyone for being so nice to kids and parents! We suffered for 4 months, but this nursery has made my son and my family happy! So grateful! Keep up the excellent work.

Both my son - aged 3 - and daughter - aged 1 - attend this nursery. They are both so happy here and I am so pleased with their development. The nursery provides a wide range of fun activities for the children to encourage and improve their skills. The staff are amazing and nothing is ever too much trouble.
I am always notified straight away of any updates at the nursery and feel very happy and reassured that my children are receiving excellent care. Thank you Next Generation Day Nursery.

My daughter is a child affected badly by the pandemic due to her congenital condition so we were quite worried about her settling in at the nursery when her doctor gave us the green light. She settled into the nursery in no time and she loves it. We live nearby and she runs to the nursery door over
the weekend when we try to take her for a walk - she likes it so much. I think no more words are needed!

My daughter has been attending this nursery for a few months now, and she absolutely loves it! She was shy at first and sometimes cried when I left her, but she settled immediately, and in a couple of days, she was asking to go. The staff is very helpful and nice. Such a great nursery, thank you!

My daughter has been attending Next Generation Day Nursery since she was 14 months old, she is now 3 and a half.
She absolutely loves it! She comes out full of stories of what’s she’s done every day.
The activities are varied and she loves to tell/show everyone when she has learnt something new.
The
staff are lovely and really care about the children, their wellbeing and their development.
When she started at Next Generation Day Nursery she was shy and quiet and has now become a confident little girl who is happy to play and chat with other children.
I would recommend this nursery to anybody!

Our boy has been attending the nursery for a few months now and he really enjoys it a lot. The staff are always nice and welcoming. Two members of staff are my son’s favourite. I like the baby room because it is large and bright and I love the fact that they have a separate room for sleep. Food wise,
I would love to see more pictures once in a while with portions and how they serve it as this would satisfy my curiosity about how much food is he eating and how tasty it looks. I would definitely recommend the nursery to friends and family.

My son started going to nursery at eighteen months and settled very quickly. For sure the lovely and caring staff had a big contribution to it, as he jumps directly into their arms in the morning. The nursery is also flexible to accommodate any schedule changes, depending on availability. I find the
progress assessments very useful too. The updates about the child throughout the day such as food, sleep, photos, videos and other communications is being done via a friendly user app. I highly recommend Next Generation Day Nursery (Barnehurst) Ltd. Thank you all!

I am so glad I chose this nursery for my son. He has been attending Next Generation Day Nursery (Barnehurst) Ltd since he was ten months old, he is now almost four. I feel very content and happy with him being there and the staff know him and his little quirks well. He has developed so much and I genuinely

My son has been with Next Generation since they opened and I could not fault them. Their main priority is to put the child first and they go above and beyond in order to do this.

My daughter started the nursery at eleven months old in November 2020 and she absolutely loves it. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and really help your child to settle in and feel comfortable. The nursery app is great for keeping up to date with what your child’s up to throughout the day. My
daughter has already made so much progress in the three months she’s been there. I recommend the nursery wholeheartedly.

My daughter has attended Next Generation for the last 2.5 years and I can honestly say she has loved every minute. The staff are all so friendly and keep us up to date with everything. We love seeing what she gets up to during the day through the app they use.


The food choices are great and our

daughter always eats a great variety even with her dairy intolerance which they have been amazing with.


We will be so sad when our daughter leaves at the end of this year as we know she will miss it dearly!

Debbie prioritises, love care and attention in the Baby Room, making sure the babies get lots of hugs and encouragement so that they thrive in all areas.
