Next Generation Day Nursery (Barnehurst) has been operating since July 2018. They also have another site, New Foundations Day Nursery, located in Bexleyheath, operating since 2003.

The nursery provides children with a welcoming and friendly home-from-home environment and has a team of highly qualified and enthusiastic staff who have a genuine interest in supporting children to learn and achieve, they want to achieve that wow factor for you, they want you to want to come to their setting, they want to make you feel at home, they want what's best for all the children and continually strive for improvements to maintain their local reputation.

Staff are skilled and professional as they support children's individual needs and help them to become capable learners, staff build fantastic relations with parents and keep you updated on what your little one has done during the day through their app, you will get regular photos or video uploads through the apps secure portal, they find these offer peace of mind to many parents, seeing their child 'in action' speaks volumes.

The staff are trained to meet every child’s individual needs and help the children to learn and achieve in a fun, attractive and bright learning environment, they believe in re-investing in their staff and have a robust CPD programme to support their learning and enhance any areas of the provision for ongoing improvements.

The nursery is located close to the main road, and ideally situated for local rail and bus routes.

Next Generation is excellent. My daughter has been there since September 2019 when she was one year old. She has developed her relationship with staff and her friends, and even with her friends’ parents when all the parents could go inside the nursery to pick up their children before lockdown which
is amazing. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. I love the Famly app where I could see what my daughter is doing during the day which I do not think that every other nurseries will have. I recommend Next Generation.

Next Generation in Barnehurst is a home away from home for my little girl. She's gone through a couple of nurseries before and this one is like a dream come true! The staff and manager are amazing. They welcomed her so warmly and eased her settling in and now she literally wants to be there even on
weekends. I am truly thankful for providing such a caring, playful and educational environment for these little ones. For anyone who's thinking about them; I highly recommend this setting. Easy pick ups and drop offs, wonderful outdoor area and colourful and inviting indoors; along with lovely staff. What else can we want for our kids. Keep us the great work.

Next Generation Day Nursery is fantastic.
I've had one child leave to head off to school last year and another still at the setting. The staff are so caring and nurturing towards the children in their care. We've always felt they were in safe hands and we love receiving pictures of them smiling and
having fun.
It's definitely the best start we could give them by having the support of this nursery to encourage them to flourish and grow into the independent little people they are.

Next Generation Nursery in Barnehurst has been so good for our daughter. It's lovely to be able to drop her off with the knowledge that she'll have fun, learn, make friends and be well looked after.
The nursery uses a really good online platform that they upload activities, photos, etc. onto so you
can see whats happened throughout the day.
The staff are all very friendly and create a really nice atmosphere for the children.
In addition to this, the management have always been very supportive in any way they can when needed. There was a time that my daughter left her toy rabbit there and wouldn't have been back until a week later - one of the management staff very kindly dropped it back into us on her way home.
In short, I couldn't recommend enough.

The nursery staff are really great; they get to know each individual child and develop strong relationships with the children and get to know their individual personalities and needs. They stay in touch with parents with photos via an app and do a little handover every day at pickup. The environment
is really nice and there are plenty of different play and learning opportunities for the children, which change each day. My daughter is so happy there bouncing in every morning and evening. I would definitely highly recommend Next Generation!

Great nursery. Friendly staff who take really good care of my son. Plenty of interesting activities throughout the day. We get daily updates along with pictures via the parent app which is super useful.

My son has been going to this nursery since he was one. He loves being there and is always talking about going to nursery. The staff are amazing, easy to talk to and great with the children. The menu is great as well I used to have trouble with my son eating at home, but he always eats everything at
nursery. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

We’re extremely pleased with the care offered by the nursery, my daughter has been going since she was a baby and has developed into a confident and happy toddler in her time here. The communication through Covid times has been fantastic and care has been taken for the safety of the children without

Next Generation is excellent! My daughter absolutely loves it, her development is amazing since she has been here and she is always happy when I drop her off and pick her up. This nursery is absolutely amazing, all the staff go above and beyond for every child in their nursery, they guide and teach every child the same and all have a great understanding for each individual child. My godson has come on leaps and bounds and I can only put it down to the education and the learning
that is given and taught to him, could not thank the staff enough for what they have done for him.

Brilliant staff, they care so much for all children it's like a home away from home. From the moment my child started in 2018 they were immediately welcomed, my next child went on to start in 2020 and even with Covid they made the settling in easy.

Our family is very satisfied with the nursery. Our child started there being 2 and a half years old. The staff are fantastic, they help children to settle so well! Very caring, they know how to comfort little ones - it literally took my child just two days to start hurrying to get to the setting every
day. Very homely, cosy atmosphere. They are taking good care of facilities, constantly improve something, implement different new ideas. Good food. Amazing management team, always trying to find solutions to the needs of both parents and children. Highly recommend to everyone - we were very lucky to find this nursery two years ago.

My child has attended this nursery for nearly a year, since she was 10-months-old. Initially, she took some time to settle in but the staff were brilliant with helping her find her feet and feel comfortable - especially as she found the change in her napping environment very difficult but she soon fell
in love with it and the routine and had no trouble returning back after the nursery re-opened post-COVID lockdown. I personally find all the staff lovely and love how the management are really approachable and are just as hands-on with the kids and the parents as much as the room staff are. The food that is served is good quality and my child absolutely loves her food here. I also love the fact you get regular updates, photos and videos throughout the day through the Famly app, it really brings a smile to my working day and I know my little one is having a blast with her friends.

Both my sons attend the nursery. We couldn't have chosen a better nursery.
The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and very caring towards the children, the environment is very clean and safe and I couldn't expect better care for my children. My sons enjoy going to the nursery and have built
excellent relationships with staff and other children.
My overall experience with this nursery has been excellent and I can't recommend the nursery enough.

Our daughter attends 2 days a week in this beautiful little Nursery and she has settled down straight away. She adores her teachers and invited them to Christmas dinners and a sleepover. I have found a very welcoming environment and staff are available to accommodate parents requests wherever it is
possible and try to find a solution wherever it is not. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

After leaving my older children at a different nursery and being unsatisfied to the point I had to remove them, I was worried and sceptical about leaving my baby too. On arrival, I apologised to the girls for my worrying and many questions to come. Well, I have no idea what I ever worried for. The girls
really put my mind at rest and made me feel comfortable to be able to leave my baby. He is always happy and excited to go. I literally could not fault the care he receives! Every member of the staff cares for him and treats him as they would their own. Well done girls and thank you for being so fantastic with my boy and restoring my faith in childcare practitioners.

My child has attended this nursery for 5 months, starting from when she was 3 years old.
She attends two full days a week. She has never had a bad day. She has never come home sad, she is always excited to go.
The nursery staff are excellent, they make so much effort to fill the days with fun
and educational games, my daughter is always telling me amazing things she has learned.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, the menu has a great variety and I get regular updates regarding her progress.
Academically speaking, she has learned how to hold a pen and write some letters, she is learning basic mathematics and I love seeing how she has developed.
My only regret is that come September this year I have to send her to school.
I would recommend this nursery to anyone and everyone.

I have nothing but praise for the staff. All so friendly and really put my mind at ease when my daughter started. My daughter loves it here. They do so much with the children and I am constantly getting updates on her progress. The staff even take time from their weekend to organise activities for the
children so the parents can also get involved! I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone with children!

Becky now works across both the nurseries overseeing the Management teams, monitoring quality and making sure everything runs smoothly.

Debbie prioritises, love care and attention in the Baby Room, making sure the babies get lots of hugs and encouragement so that they thrive in all areas.
