Next Generation Day Nursery (Barnehurst) has been operating since July 2018. They also have another site, New Foundations Day Nursery, located in Bexleyheath, operating since 2003.

The nursery provides children with a welcoming and friendly home-from-home environment and has a team of highly qualified and enthusiastic staff who have a genuine interest in supporting children to learn and achieve, they want to achieve that wow factor for you, they want you to want to come to their setting, they want to make you feel at home, they want what's best for all the children and continually strive for improvements to maintain their local reputation.

Staff are skilled and professional as they support children's individual needs and help them to become capable learners, staff build fantastic relations with parents and keep you updated on what your little one has done during the day through their app, you will get regular photos or video uploads through the apps secure portal, they find these offer peace of mind to many parents, seeing their child 'in action' speaks volumes.

The staff are trained to meet every child’s individual needs and help the children to learn and achieve in a fun, attractive and bright learning environment, they believe in re-investing in their staff and have a robust CPD programme to support their learning and enhance any areas of the provision for ongoing improvements.

The nursery is located close to the main road, and ideally situated for local rail and bus routes.

We absolutely love Next Generation Day Nursery. Our daughter started here when she was just one year old, and she's now in the preschool room, getting ready for reception next year.
Watching her grow and learn in such a warm and supportive environment has been amazing.
The staff is very knowledgeable,
attentive, and caring. Our daughter is learning new skills every day and growing into such a confident, curious, and capable little person.
We also really appreciate the frequent updates the staff share with us via the app, keeping us informed about what our daughter is up to during the day. They also give helpful recommendations on ways we can continue supporting her development at home, which has made us feel so much more connected to her learning journey.
We feel so lucky to have found Next Generation Day Nursery, and we would recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing, inspiring place for their child!

Could not recommend Next Generation Day Nursery highly enough. My eldest daughter attended and now my son attends and it has been consistently excellent throughout the seven year period. There are a number of varied activities set out daily for the children which are all linked to learning and development
and more than I could ever set up daily! My son thoroughly enjoyed all of the Christmas activities throughout December, especially the Christmas concert. The food menu is excellent, plenty of variation with fruit and vegetables at lunch and dinner times. The staff are nurturing towards the children which is particularly important to me given my son is still so little he needs that home-from-home comfort.

My son has settled really well and is thriving at the nursery. Nursery has been good in helping him overcome his stranger anxiety and learn so many new skills. The staff are great in providing updates and being joined up for my child’s development. I feel at peace knowing my son is in a safe environment.

My eldest son attended since he was 2 until he went to school and his brother started in the baby room when he was one and still goes here. They both loved it, the staff was very kind and took good care of the children. I find the app updates great, especially the photos. The activities they provide
are exciting, they do a lot of messy play. I also appreciate the fact that they organize events for parents to attend on special occasions such as Mother's Day and Christmas.
The space is nice, decent size and the preschool free flow area and garden at the back are fab, the children spend time outside daily. They cook on-site and my child eats well at the nursery but I would love to see a variety of veg (mindful not all children would eat them so the nursery needs to strike a balance there).

I don’t know where to start other than to say I cannot fault Next Generation Day Nursery! They are amazing and I’m beyond pleased that my daughter attends this day nursery. Having previously tried a different nursery prior to these, to say the difference in the 2 is outstanding is an understatement.
My little girl had a hard time settling for her own reasons however, all staff went above and beyond to help settle her. She has come such a long way since starting and now loves going there. Each member of staff is lovely, friendly, helpful and so good with the children. They express concerns where necessary and keep you updated via an app on your child’s progress and daily activities when attending. They ensure to update you on nappy changes, what food has been had and sleep times. Fresh food is given daily with lots of variety. As I started with, there are no faults with this nursery and I’m very grateful that my little girl attends here. Thank you all for your hard work!

My daughter loves going to nursery and I know it’s because she just has so much fun, and is well looked after! Her confidence has grown and you can really see that recently! She’s always singing the songs from there, and showing us so much that she’s learnt when she’s home! Every single teacher is amazing
in their own way, and you can see that! I am also so appreciative of all the support we’ve been given as a family since she’s been there too, as we’ve had a tough few years!
Were so glad we made the decision to bring her here! Thank you so much girls!

Very happy with our nursery experience. We started my 18-month-old in September one day a week to slowly introduce and build up gradually. She has settled in well and now really enjoys it, lots of activities and I love all the updates and regular progress reports. Her speech has developed fantastically
and is building her confidence and general social skills. Staff are all very nice and accommodating, especially when I was really nervous to leave her in the beginning. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Next Generation Day Nursery. We sent our daughter there in September 2023 when she was three years old. Settling in went really well, we had no tears at all even though it was her first nursery ever.
She loves going there. Every morning when she wakes up she is asking if she can
go there - even at weekends.
The teachers and all staff members are very nice and always happy to help.
Highly recommended.

A nice caring nursery with a structured environment for a child. Our son is happy and learning well at the nursery.

I absolutely love this nursery, from the day I had a tour around I knew it was perfect for my daughter. The staff are so loving and caring the setting is friendly and inviting. My daughter was really attached to me and struggled a lot with a previous childminder. Since coming to Next Generation she
has improved so much it amazes me everyday. As soon as we get to nursery she walks in and greets the staff and her friends. As a parent it’s so beautiful to witness and gives me so much peace knowing she’s in great hands. I can’t recommend this nursery enough, honestly I’m so impressed! They have an app which gives updates/pictures of my daughter, it’s brilliant! The staff are always doing amazing set ups/activities for the children, it’s fabulous! They also have an amazing cook! The staff are so kind I’m always excited to drop and collect my daughter. I’m really happy I found this nursery! Thank you Next Generation for being so amazing!

An absolutely fantastic nursery and I’m happy with the care that my children receive there. Wonderful staff who are kind and knowledgeable. My son has been at the nursery for nearly a year now and I couldn't be happier. He found it difficult to settle at first, which was very difficult, but the staff were so caring and supportive and offered additional sessions to help. Now he loves it! There are different activities every day and this
has really helped with his development. I feel the staff in the baby room really care for him and he feels safe and happy with them. A big thanks to the ladies who are all amazing!

My daughter has been attending here since she was 2 years old. She has loved it here from the moment she started. All the staff are excellent and always happy and friendly. The rooms are lovely.

My child has loved attending this nursery. They always have different activities set up each day looking at different skills, books or interests of the children. The staff listen and takes on board things that the children tell them they want to do, which is really great as it keeps them engaged. My
child especially enjoys the outside space and free-flow area and the staff ensures there is time spent outside every day, even if it's raining.
The meals provided offer a great range of flavours and different foods so the children are exposed to lots of different types of food from around the world.
The staff are welcoming and really get to know the children well.

Our daughter started at Next Generation Day Nursery in November 2019, since being reintroduced post covid, she has thrived. The nursery makes effective use of indoor/outdoor space and have all facilities needed, the staff are always keeping their space fun, entertaining and full of imagination. They
work extremely hard to support the children in their key development. The nursery offers activities such as football, phonics and sensory. Food menus are updated and offer a good variety for all diets. Cleanliness has been maintained post covid and safeguarding is effective. I can’t thank the manager and staff enough for supporting, understanding and helping my daughter through her early years. I already feel she will have the best start to school this September.

The warmest, most professional place and we have seen real results with our little one developing her social and language skills particularly well. Other technical skills have moved on leaps and bounds too, we simply would not have got where we are on our own. Love the work you are all doing, top level!

Debbie prioritises, love care and attention in the Baby Room, making sure the babies get lots of hugs and encouragement so that they thrive in all areas.
