Partou Storytimes Day Nursery & Pre-school

Putting my son into Storytimes is by far the best decision I ever made. Since starting in October 2024 after being at another local nursery he has come on so much. The nursery has such a personal touch. Every member of staff knows your child, welcomes them in on a daily basis with a big smile and open arms. The rooms are set up with so much thought for each child's individual interests to allow them to express themselves and thrive. The staff are amazing! So caring, encouraging and really spend time getting to know your child. Dropping my son off every day knowing he is going to have so much fun whilst learning makes it so much easier as a parent. The nursery is very well run, from management always being there to greet you with an hello or talk to you about something amazing your child did that day, to the staff in each room bringing out the best in my son, they really are real life angels. Thank you!!

I can't recommend storytimes enough they are such a caring and loving team . They put some much effort into their activities. The staff always have smiles on their face . I would 100% recommend !!!!!!

The nursery is a haven of creativity and play. Whether he's painting masterpieces, running in the garden, dressing up as a superhero, or building blocks, each day is packed with opportunities to explore, imagine, and learn. The staff and children have fantastic bonds, and this comes from the love and support all staff and children are shown, which in turn enhances wellbeing for all!

I have two little ones at the nursery and all the staff have been amazing at helping them settle in and feel safe, happy and comfortable. If we have ever had concerns and raise it to a member of staff it is dealt with quickly and reported back to us. One of my children has dietary requirements and they always make sure she has a great selection of things she likes. The staff always go above and beyond with their learning and development. One has been amazing with helping my daughter with her reading and writing. And two other staff members are fantastic at giving feedback when picking them up and filling me in on what they have been up to in the day. They really have a fantastic team who really care for the kids.

Storytimes is a well known nursery in the local community, after attending many baby groups in the local area its evident they have a fantastic reputation. The very first visit I felt so very welcomed and was blown away by the available experiences for the children. The staff are always smiling! My child is so very happy and has built so much confidence, he really enjoys the story of the week which we continue with him at home! Great to have access to a lending library too. I love all my photos on the app and ongoing updates. You're all superstars!

My son has attended Storytimes since he was 7 months old and has recently moved up to the preschool room. As soon as I entered the nursery it felt so homely, the rooms are beautifully set up and the staff are so friendly. All the way through babies, tinies, toddlers and now pre-school he has loved coming to nursery and has learned and developed so much. All the staff are amazing and treat the children as though they’re their own. There are always so many fun activities planned by the staff as well as weekly stretch & grow sessions and swimming lessons. Handovers are always very informative by staff and we get lots of photo updates on the app. His key worker is amazing and they have such a wonderful bond! I couldn’t be happier. I would not send my child to any other nursery.

Every night the report back to us was, “she’s been great - she didn’t eat much, but she had a good go” and then described some non-vegan meal - then suddenly correct themselves at least half her attendance. I don’t even want to say much more I am so angry.

My daughter loves the stretch and grow sessions, and has grown, learnt and found her own little personality with the support from the staff team, having been at the nursery since being a baby. Could not recommend enough. Thankyou Storytimes.

This nursery was exactly what I hoped it would be, fantastic staff, always happy and smiling. The nursery provides great activities, my child particularly liked the self registration areas, they settled her into the nursey with ease each morning. The Food was amazing and the management team are lovely, always happy to help and very efficient.

Being a primary school teacher, I have the opportunity to visit lots of nurseries and I can honestly say Storytimes is the best nursery setting I have been in. The environment is stunning; it’s purposeful and engaging for the children. The opportunities and experiences that are planned for the children are so creative. The staff spend a lot of time trying to make the environment inviting for the children, going above and beyond for special events like the King’s Coronation. My little boy has attended since he was 8 months old and he loves it! The staff are so nurturing and have built positive relationships with him and us as parents. I feel like he is getting the best start in life. I would fully recommend this nursery to anyone looking.

My son has just left Storytimes last week to start reception, after attending here for three years. I could not have chosen a better nursery for him! The staff are wonderful, as are the management. The latest glowing Ofsted report speaks for itself. I have always been comfortable that my child has been well looked after, loved and taught.

Well what can I say about Storytimes. Both my daughter and son have attended the nursery/pre-school since they were both 6 months. My eldest has just sadly left to start her new adventure at primary school and my youngest is still at the nursery. I can honestly say that they’ve been incredible in terms of supporting, loving and caring for both my children. The growth I’ve seen in them both is remarkable and they’ve really enabled to prepare my eldest daughter for primary. Communication is brilliant and the activities they provide are both enjoyable and educational. I couldn’t recommend Storytimes enough.

We were very fortunate to have both of our children cared for at Storytimes Nursery and I can not recommend them enough. It is daunting, and also upsetting, to drop your children off to be cared for by other people, but from the minute we walked in I've never felt anything but comfort and warmth. Both of my children get excited to go to Storytimes and they have excelled ever since with the help of the staff there. There is constant engagement, new activities, the environment is outstanding and the relationships that have developed with the key workers and my kiddos is something a parent can only dream of when taking them to nursery, I can not thank you all enough for how amazing you have all been.

Storytimes cared for my little boy from the age of 9 months old for three years. He loved his time at Storytimes and made memories for life. Each of his key workers were amazing and treated him with such care and definitely went the extra mile. I would recommend Storytimes to anybody looking for quality childcare.

I couldn’t have chosen a better pre-school for my little one. The staff are just the absolute best and he has the best relationship with them all! They are so attentive and caring to all children. All staff constantly have positive and happy personalities and are so so friendly. The setting is beautiful and always clean and tidy and very child focused.

My daughter has now been with Storytimes Nursery since March and honestly I haven’t had a single problem about anything in that time. The staff are super helpful, my daughter loves going there and really likes the people in her room. I highly recommend this nursery.
