Orchard Day Nursery is truly one of the best nurseries in Wimbledon. My son who is 3 has been attending for a year and here are my highlights:
1) diversity of staff - people of colour, diversity of ethnicity and sex are very important. It teaches children caretaking is not the role/responsibility of
one gender
2) use of tech - they use the app for updates which are incredibly thorough and we get so many lovely photos every day of our children in action.
3) curriculum - every day is wonderfully unique and the team are very proactive in highlighting holidays from various countries and cultures. More recently they are doing "mindful Thursdays" engaging children in meditation, yoga, and kindness. I was excited to learn my child would learn about this early in life!
4) kind staff - every single person at Orchard feels invested in children's development. They have helped me so much along the way, whether it was potty training or getting used to wearing a mask for travel.

My son has attended the nursery for 11 months now. He absolutely loves it there! I had another baby in May this year and my son’s behaviour was hard to manage. Everyone at the nursery was so kind, caring and knowledgeable in helping us get back on track with this. Even now they provide me with new ideas
of any challenges we are facing. The app is a great way to see what your child has eaten and slept in the day. Daily posts on the activities they have enjoyed allow me to talk to my son about his day whilst his words are limited. Nothing is ever a bother for the staff and they are so reassuring in any worries I have. My second child will be joining them in a few months' time. I can’t recommend this nursery enough. Helpful, kind, reassuring, and passionate in striving to help our little ones develop. Thank you for all you do for us.

The Orchard Day Nursery is being a wonderful place for my little one, which he is enjoying every day. The staff are very attentive and very supportive of the children development.
This is my second child at this nursery, and when it was time for the younger one to go to the nursery, I didn’t look
for other nurseries; I already knew that he is going to this nursery, based on the previous good experience that I had.

When my son started at this nursery every time we walked to the entrance door, he would get frustrated and start crying as he was very close and clingy to both me and his father. But within such a small space of time, he has become confident, happy and very sociable not just with the staff and his peers
at nursery but even family and friends. Whereas before nursery, we were unable to take him to other people’s homes because he would start crying straight away. Through the nursery, I have discovered that my son is an auditory learner.

The nursery is great. My son has been going there for around two years. He loves it. The teachers are great communicators, regularly give us updates on his progress and update their app daily detailing his activities. Unlike the previous nursery he attended, the classes are not overcrowded and each
teacher really knows the kids in their care. He does a wide range of activities, helping with all areas of his development. The classrooms are all so diverse, which is great as it introduces my son to children from a range of different ethnic backgrounds. For the location, the nursery represents great value.

The team is great, very accommodating and extremely friendly. Our daughter happily walks in each morning which reassures us greatly. We notice her development as a result of attending nursery. They have called us when our daughter has been sick, which again reassures us. My wife and I are both doctors
and have busy work patterns, but find the nursery very accommodating.

Absolutely fantastic nursery, a real gift to have found such a wonderful set of teachers and professionals who genuinely care so much for the children in their care. They provide so many exciting opportunities for them and come up with all sorts of fun and engaging activities. The communication with
parents is also exceptional. They are like family, my son loves them and is always so excited to get into the buggy to go to nursery for the day! Can't thank them enough. Great food options too.

We are so happy with The Orchard. Our daughter has always been over the moon to go, runs in ar drop offs not even looking back. She loves her teachers and friends. The open layout is great. Kitchen is open too so kids can learn about cooking. They spend a lot of time in the lovely garden. The nursery
organises weekly activities like bug theater, teddy tennis, football, French classes etc. Love the Famly app for daily reports and communication. 5 stars!

Our daughter (3years) has been attending Orchard Day Nursery since she was 10-months-old. We have found this to be a very nurturing environment, and she has always been very settled and happy there throughout this time. The activities for the children are stimulating and creative, aimed at supporting
each child's developmental needs well. From the start, we've been very impressed with the variety of new fresh foods and meals provided each day, and we are emailed clear daily personalised reports about how our daughter's day was. The open plan design of the nursery has separate designated areas for the different age groups, and there is always a warm, happy and welcoming atmosphere in the nursery.

My daughter attended this nursery when she was 8-months-old and is now 15-months. She has always loved being left at The Orchard nursery, which provides me with peace of mind that the staff know what they are doing. They always send me daily reports as well as the app updates with videos and photos
often. My daughter is happy when I drop and pick her up. The staff are super friendly and try to get the most out of her development. I'm very glad I found this nursery!

Lovely staff with a professional background in childcare. I am absolutely amazed at how my child has learned to enjoy his nursery since the day we started with this nursery. A structured detailed report was given at the end of each day with personal feedback of the child. Educational tasks, activities
and lessons structured for the entire day to encourage learning whilst playing.
Four members of the team and many other staff have been my child's key people, and they are all fantastic professionals who have looked after him very well. Big thank you to you all!

Orchard is an outstanding nursery in every way. The level of care, love, attention and focus on the individual needs of each child there is exceptional. The staff are friendly and want to help in any way that they can, which has been a tremendous source of support to me as a single working mum. I also
love the daily reports sent electronically so I have a detailed understanding of what my daughter has done during the day, and the regular parent's newsletters too. My daughter has been at another nursery prior to Orchard, and the contrast in care is significant. I would recommend any parents to send their child to Orchard without hesitation.

My daughter has been at The Orchard Day Nursery for about 2 months now and we have seen a real improvement in her development. The settling in period was brilliant and really helped her bond with her key worker. All staff are friendly and welcoming to both the children and parents. My daughter has always
eaten really well at nursery and now sleeps well there too which is fantastic given shes been there for such a short amount of time. I'd have no issue with recommending the nursery to other families.

My daughter has attended this nursery since turning 1 (she’s now coming up to 2 1/2) and loves it here. From the start, the team were welcoming and helped her (and me!) settle in well. They were also great at transitioning her into the 2-3s area when she turned 2. The open plan nature of the nursery
means the children and staff all get to know each other and there’s a very friendly open attitude as well. The team clearly care a lot about the children and are so passionate about what they do.

Our daughter has been attending Orchard Day Nursery for five months since she was 13 months old. She has settled in brilliantly thanks especially to her key worker but really all the staff at the nursery. The open-plan setting is great as my daughter is familiar with all the staff and seeing her smile
and wave at everyone when she arrives each day makes dropping her off much easier. The menus are healthy, seasonal and varied and having the kitchen open to the rest of the nursery is a real plus as the kids can see the chef preparing food throughout the day. We also really like the weekly activities and also the emphasis on getting the kids outside each day in almost any weather.
The daily report emails are also great, its really nice to see a snapshot of her day every evening.
We would not hesitate to recommend Orchard Day Nursery to other parents; our daughter is happy and well looked after by caring staff.

My child has attended said nursery since the age of nine months and is now fast approaching two and a half years of age. Initially, the nursery appeared to undergo a near complete staff change which was a little unsettling, however, things seemed to have calmed as of late and my wife and I are both
very happy with the level of childcare provision.
Our child suffers from allergies and a number of skin conditions which the staff take into account when it comes to dietary requirements, playing outside / with water etc. This for us is an imperative.
Our only slight grievance would be in relation to the amount of dedicated care / learning provided considering the large number of places the nursery offers. However, this is a universal issue across all London based childcare providers and is not unique to The Orchard Day Nursery only.
We would strongly recommend this nursery to any prospective parents.
