I am very pleased at how well my daughter is developing.

I am extremely happy with the nursery for my two boys. The staff are friendly, the communication is excellent, and most importantly, my sons are very happy there. Staff work hard to provide fun, stimulating activities for the children to enhance their development. I am pleased we chose Sandhills Day Nursery (Heath Mill), and I highly recommend to others.

All staff are warm, caring and professional. I know my son is being well cared for, and he looks forward to going. He always has a big smile at the end of the day and talks happily about his day. Communication is excellent, and I highly recommend it.

Very friendly staff, in particular, the nursery manager who is always welcoming and happy to talk to you! The app is amazing and takes away the worry of leaving your child! Flexible with accomodating certain days and amending them if required!

We are so very grateful for all that the new manager and her deputy and all the other staff have done for our son during what was a very difficult time for our family. We settled him in just before the first Covid lockdown and then had to hand him over at the door when they reopened (due to Covid rules), which I found really anxiety-provoking. We weren’t too keen on their previous manager, but the new manager has worked very hard to make some important changes that I feel have really improved the care of children. Communication from management is prompt and always helpful, and it is clear that the staff clearly care about and form deep bonds with the children they look after. They cannot seem to do enough for them and for the parents. It is wonderful to have a nursery where you can rest easy knowing your child will be loved and cared for in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

The staff are extremely helpful and really good with the children. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I am a foster carer, and I know any children placed there are well cared for and motivated. They have e always been happy in the environment of the nursery.

My son has been coming here since he was 11-months-old and loves it. He always walks in smiling and comes home happy at the end of the day. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I am very happy with the service we receive and would recommend it to family and friends.

I was worried about my 2 little ones going back to nursery after a year off, they had their settling in sessions over a 2 week period and started on the 3rd week. The first few days they were a little bit clingy, but the staff have been amazing and helped so much. They now go running in after 2 weeks, with big smiles on their faces and love it. The app that is used for updates is also very good and user friendly. This is a fantastic nursery, with friendly, helpful staff. Would highly recommend

My little boy (2 1/2 years old) is always excited about going to nursery and eager to get in and start the day. The staff are always lovely and informative. The app is great for updates and pictures of what he’s getting up to throughout the day; it’s always reassuring to see he is happy and entertained whilst not in my care. Great food choices and accommodating of establishing the same routine we have at home. Always lots of smiles when either my husband or I pick him up. Overall a really caring environment that has had a real impact on his social skills and all-around development!

My child seems to really enjoy his time there and has really come along in regards to his progress of learning. He has become more confident. He enjoys playing with his friends and we look forward to hearing about his day.

Staff have been brilliant with our daughter, and she enjoys going. They do activities with the children and encourage their natural development. They have a good menu for the children too. Staff will accommodate any needs of the children, including dietary needs.

All of the staff are so helpful and patient. I feel confident in leaving my daughter there. They always appear happy to see each child and are great at updating you on the progress your child is making. They will offer advice on activities you can complete at home to support their nursery learning.

My twin daughters have been going to Sandhills since July last year. They will be 3 in April, and they have come on so much. They adore there key workers who always go above and beyond to ensure the girls are happy, safe and learning a range of new skills. My twin daughters always walk into the nursery with a huge smile on there face. A big thank you to all the staff at Sandhills.

Amazing nursery with lovely staff. My daughter has come on so much with the help of the practitioners. So much so, she asks to go to nursery on her days off. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nursery.

My little ones absolutely love it here! They have created lovely bonds with the amazing staff team, and I know they are in safe hands. They provide such a high standard of care, and I couldn’t think of anywhere better to send them!

Lovely nursery with fantastic staff! Our children have thrived at Sandhills, having started at 8/9 months old. The care provided has always been excellent and proves we can rest assured they are being well looked after. My little boy is 2.5 now, he has a great relationship with his keyworker, and although he only attends one day per week, his development and social skills have amazed us.

I cannot fault the staff at Sandhills, they are fantastic, and my daughter loves it there. They do a wide variety of activities with the children, ensure they get adequate rest time and feed them very well indeed. Had a minor disagreement with head office over something, but with the help of the very proactive nursery manager, this was resolved, and I was able to keep my gaughter at Sandhills. Love the observations throughout the day too, a lovely touch!

My two children love the nursery and especially the staff. I feel that my youngest has come on in leaps and bounds and shocks me every day with what he has learnt. My eldest was a little unsure at first but with the help/cuddles and support from her key worker, she has settled in just nicely. I think the nursery is brilliant and a lovely environment for the children. Keep up the good work Sandhills.

A wonderful nursery that my little boy really enjoys attending. Staff have taken the time to build a rapport with my little one meaning that when we drop him off and pick him up he is happy and content.
