Sandhills Day Nursery Heath Mill

Very pleased with my daughter's progress at nursery. Her speech and language has dramatically improved.

The staff always make us all feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them. My son loves coming to nursery and he gets to take part in a variety of activities designed by the staff.

Very happy with the nursery. The staff are lovely. My son is very happy to go into his room in the morning. They do some lovely activities with the children. My son loves being outside so I’m hoping that he’ll be out in the garden a lot more now.

I am extremely happy with the care that my son receives at Sandhills Heath Mill, Wombourne. He has built up a good rapport with the staff and he seems to really enjoy his time there. The activities that he does are very well thought out and link in nicely with the EYFS framework. The staff are all very friendly.

My child is extremely happy and settled quickly. Staff are very welcoming and ensure the development of each child is on target. Extra support is given to any child behind in any area and staff communicate regularly to keep parents updated with their child’s progress.

My son has been at Heath Mill since September and even though he doesn’t attend all week I have really noticed a difference in his development. The staff are always so helpful and caring not just for my son but for us as parents too. I love receiving updates throughout the day and the staff have always been really helpful when we’ve asked for updates on specific areas. Everything also looks clean and well maintained and considering there is only a small outside space the team have made the best of what they’ve got and taken on feedback to continue to improve it for the children.

When I was looking at nurseries I had reservations about the location of the nursery but this is completely irrelevant as when he is in the nursery I know he is being well looked after and is enjoying himself. Although the outdoor area is small the staff use it as often as possible and do a variety of activities outdoors.

Excellent nursery. My daughter always gets excited when it’s nursery day and asks every morning if she’s going. Good variety of food and the care my daughter receives is excellent and communication between nursery and parents is also excellent.

Brilliant nursery. The staff are fab and genuinely care for your child. I especially like the eyLog as staff send me regular updates on how my little one is getting on.

Both my children are happy and contented at Sandhills and we can ask no more. We are happy with their progress and they seem to be learning something new all the time. The eyLog is brilliant and I enjoy getting our updates. The staff are caring and kind and we feel comfortable knowing our children are safe in their hands while we aren’t there.

Sandhills (Heath Mill) is an amazing nursery for children under two years of age. My son has attended since he was nine months old and loves attending. Staff are extremely well trained and very helpful as well as being very friendly. My son is making good progress academically and has developed good social skills since attending.

Our son has been at Sandhills Heath Mill since its opening in 2017. In that time, we cannot fault the level of care, attention and professionalism from all of the staff. From his keyworker, in particular, we have received a true investment, tailoring activities to his personal interests and focusing attention on his development. He loves going every day and has made some wonderful friends and memories in his time there.

Excellent and caring staff, the individual rooms are set up fantastically for each age group, would highly recommend.

Lovely nursery with fantastic staff. Good food for them to have each day. My child has come so far since starting at Sandhills! She started nursery at 15 months and is now almost 4 years old and Sandhills have really made her confidence grow. She has learnt so much! The girls and management are amazing - thank you for everything!

Absolutely brilliant nursery. Cannot fault it in any way. They 100% give my child what he needs, preparing him for school. My child has a development and growth delay, they set him targets and encourage him every day. The eylog is brilliant and keeps parents up to date with what he's up to. His speech and confidence has improved immensely.

Sandhills keep my updated regularly and we enjoy seeing our e-notifications of my son’s activities and progression.

My daughter attended Heath Mill for 3 months. During that time, the care and attention given to her ensured that she developed both her language skills and her confidence levels. The staff were all attentive to the children within their care from the early morning drop off until the late pickup. The nursery staff were always willing to accommodate any requests from us and I felt as though my daughter was being looked after by my extended family rather than strangers from her first day. We were deeply saddened to leave just when we had got used to staff and routines. I could not have asked for a better setting for my daughter.
