I viewed the nursery in April 2025 when my daughter was four months old and immediately felt welcomed by Claire, the manager. The settling-in sessions were fantastic - I was encouraged to stay as long as I needed and even offered extra sessions.
When she started in October, staff were very
understanding about her milk and egg intolerances and always reassure me about meal alternatives. I've always been able to call and speak directly to the room staff, which gives me peace of mind.
Mandy, Megan and Sarah are lovely and care deeply.
My daughter has settled beautifully and never cries at drop-off.
The only downside is the space - the baby room and garden are quite small and could be more baby-friendly. Overall, the staff make it a positive experience.

Great nursery highly recommend. All staff are friendly, attentive and have each individual child's best interests at heart - even those only attending 1 day per week.

My son has been at this nursery since a baby he attends full time and is 2 and an half now and has always enjoyed attending . My other two sons attended another great nursery years ago and I can honestly this is more friendly and caring. The staff are very caring and always put his needs first
nothing is too much trouble. He talks fondly of the staff at home. He's always happy and his development has been amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery to others despite what ofsted rating ( that is NOT a reflection on the level of care children receive at this nursery )Another great thing is nappies wipes milk suncream all included too!

My eldest child attended Sandhills Heath Mill, so it was the natural choice when deciding where to send my youngest. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They listen to you and support you with your parenting choices while they are at nursery like naps. The range of activities is amazing and my
little boys loves going to nursery which makes it so much easier as a working parent knowing he's happy and looked after. I would thoroughly recommend!

Cannot fault the staff at Sandhills my daughter has been attending since October 2024 and has settled in so well with the help and support from the staff in mr bumps room! They are always doing a range of activities with the children and my daughter loves attending!

Sandhills Heath Mill is such a warm, welcoming and joyful place for my son. Since he's been attending he's been able to join in with so many fun and exciting activities. His development has been monitored and is always encouraged by all staff, enabling him to grow. The staff are great and so
friendly, it really feels like a little family. I am so thrilled I chose here for my son's nursery. Would definitely recommend to others.

My daughter has been here since she was 10 months old and starts reception in September, she has loved her time here, the staff are lovely and have a lot of time for all the children. Amazing nursery that i would recommend to any parent looking to put their child here!

My little boy has been coming here since October 2023 and he loves it. He always seems to have the best day. Our other little one will be starting soon and we know he will be in very good hands. Love the updates on the app and seeing the photos of what our boy has been up to.

Since my daughter started nursery in September she has came on leaps and bounds. I initially felt nervous and guilty leaving her for 4 days a week but the staff in baby room put me at ease straight away and my daughter settled in after only a few days there. I get updates daily on the app of the
lovely activities that she does throughout the day. I could not be happier about the care that she receives while at nursery.

Our son has only been at Sandhills Day Nursery for a few weeks, following on from a negative experience at a different setting, and he is like a different child. The staff take time to welcome him and put him at ease each time he is in. He used to hate going to nursery but now will happily talk
about it. Even on the times where he is reluctant to go in, the staff make him feel welcome and he quickly settles. The food options they give the children are excellent and offer a wide range! Our son is always talking about something exciting he has played with or done so we are so pleased.

Absolutely amazing nursery! Building confidence, speech and love. Such a happier child since being transferred from another nursery, no more crying when going into nursery. Would definitely recommend.

Sandhills goes above and beyond for all the children, my son has a development delay and a few other issues for which he is getting referred but they always make sure my son’s comfortable and happy, all the staff are lovely and welcoming and I have noticed such a difference in my son since he
started here its lovely to see the progress, and I can only thank sandhills for this, I would recommend all parents to bring there child/children here as you won’t be disappointed.

So far our child has been attending nursery for almost 12 months and the progression in her all-round ability and self-confidence is plain to see. All members of staff are always helpful and happy and this is reflected in the children as they all always seem very happy.
It's a great feeling knowing
we can carry on with our day-to-day knowing our children our safe and happy. Can't ask for anymore really. Thank you all.

The staff are so lovely, caring and professional. Was put at ease leaving my little girl in their care. Plenty of activities to keep them occupied and chances to learn through play. Definitely would recommend the nursery to friends and family.

My child attends and gets a huge amount from nursery life! The app allows you to see updates about their day and allows you to message back to the team. The staff a very professional, kind and always ensure my child gets the right level of stimulation. My child leaves nursery feeling energised and
loves nothing more than telling me what they did that day, what they ate, and who they interacted with - I cannot ask for more from the nursery team.

Great nursery with amazing staff! The staff really do make the place; they are always so friendly and welcoming, and my children flourish there without a doubt! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other parents. It would be great if there were larger rooms and more outside space, but this is
dependent on the location ultimately.

All the staff are so lovely here and really helped my daughter settle in over the last six months. She's really coming on in play, and they played a massive part in the speed of her potty training. She's always excited to go in and play with her friends. Would definitely recommend this nursery.
