Sandhills Day Nursery Heath Mill

Extremely happy with how well my son settled into this nursery setting. All staff are welcoming, friendly and supportive, and the learning environment offers a wide range of activities and experiences for children.

Great nursery with amazing staff! The staff really do make the place; they are always so friendly and welcoming, and my children flourish there without a doubt! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other parents. It would be great if there were larger rooms and more outside space, but this is dependent on the location ultimately.

All the staff are so lovely here and really helped my daughter settle in over the last six months. She's really coming on in play, and they played a massive part in the speed of her potty training. She's always excited to go in and play with her friends. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

My daughter has recently joined Heath Mill nursery upon my return to work. Staff put my mind at ease every day and show care, love and kindness to my daughter. I find staff pass all relevant information to each other so they are informed on the needs of my daughter. They are welcoming and she truly enjoys her days at nursery!

Since my daughter started at Heath Mill, her confidence has grown so much. She loves to go every week and loves to tell us what she has done every day at nursery. The staff are so helpful, and nothing is too much for them. Would highly recommend it!

The nursery is very good. However, lacks in communication from time to time between staff members. Overall good. Friendly team. I feel my child is looked after well, however, could reassure them when gets emotional a little more. Food is good but a little expensive, especially when comes to a full day, as my child doesn't eat £13 worth of food. The fees are quite excessive, but the care is very good.

My daughter loves attending nursery. The team create a warm, welcoming environment where she seems to thrive. The staff clearly care about the children and enjoy what they do. Special mention to one lady who can never do enough for you and always has a smile on her face. Also, the lady who is my daughter's new key worker has helped her settle into her new room.

The staff have also been very supportive of our use of cloth nappies, which I was very worried about as not many people use them. The food menu is also very varied; I love checking my app to see what has been offered (and mostly eaten!). My little girl has really thrived there the past few months, and I am just so thankful we chose Heath Mill!

We received the warmest welcome we could have hoped for at the nursery! The staff took an individualised approach with my daughter, and she's thrilled with her experience. In just two short weeks, she's already settled in and eagerly looks forward to each day at the nursery.

My son has been attending the nursery for two years now. All the staff have been really supportive to meet his needs. The leadership and management team are really accommodating. Really friendly nursery with a really supportive staff team. Good facilities with a good outdoor area.

My little boy has been there since early January now, and absolutely loves it there! All the staff are so welcoming, friendly, and communicative with you. Right from the get-go, he enjoyed being at the nursery and bonded really well with the other children and staff members and is always telling me about his days there. His communication has really improved, as well as his moods as he really looks forward to going, and wouldn't be anywhere without me beforehand. I'm so glad that he has settled in well and it is obvious that his confidence has improved when socialising with others, as well as his temperament with other children too. There is a parent app where you can see what your child has eaten, how much they've eaten, and nappy changes and the staff upload a photo of your child whilst doing an activity which is really lovely to see on your updates! Everything about the nursery is so lovely, definitely a good choice for your little ones! There is nothing less than good to be said.

I have left writing a review for a while as I wanted to see how my daughter had settled in. After a rocky start at a previous nursery, having witnessed things that didn't put me at ease with my then 7-month-old, I was a little apprehensive. However, even the first impressions on my initial viewing of this nursery (Heath Mill), I could see the difference in not only the environment but also the practitioners. (Something I wasn't initially privileged to at the previous nursery due to Covid.) My daughter's keyworker has been absolutely brilliant, as are the other staff who work by her side. My daughter is now 13 months and has really settled in with ease. I feel comfortable knowing my daughter is in the best care at the moment. All staff are very friendly and welcoming, and you can see they really care about the babies and children. I would fully recommend the Sandhills Heath Mill.

A lovely nursery that our child attends. She has thrived in the two years she has attended, and the team are so caring and attentive. You can tell the staff are invested in the children and their development. Thank you for helping our girl grow into a confident little lady.

My first son went to Sandhills Heath Mill, so I knew exactly where I wanted to send my second child when I was ready to go back to work. This nursery hasn’t let me down; they have earned my full trust. They keep me updated throughout the day, and the menu for the little ones is amazing. I see how much the staff really care about the children. They listen to the parent, and nothing is too much trouble for them. There is nothing I could ask them to improve on because everything is five stars. Thank you, ladies, for everything.

Sandhills Day Nursery Heath Mill is a fantastic nursery that our little boy attends. He loves going to this nursery. Very friendly and caring staff that genuinely care about the children and their development. Fully recommend this nursery.

The staff make this nursery amazing. Myself and my children receive so much support and care. My kids feel safe and happy at the nursery. They have thrived as a result. My daughter is leaving in two days. She will miss her teachers and friends, but they have helped me set her up to do amazing in big school.

I was absolutely petrified about leaving my daughter at a nursery, and the staff at Sandhills have completely put me at ease. They have cared for my daughter perfectly, and I feel safe in the knowledge that she is happy and safe when she is there. I honestly have no negative comments to make and would highly recommend them.

My son joined the nursery in January. At first, he was a little apprehensive as he hadn’t been anywhere before, but the staff in Mr Messy’s room were so friendly, and every pick-up, he would tell me he had a lovely day and chat away about all the things he had done. The girls really were lovely, and I will be sad when he leaves this week. I would definitely recommend Sandhills Heath Mill to anyone looking for a nursery setting for their child with confidence.
