Bright Horizons Solihull Day Nursery and Preschool offers seven individual home-bases tailored to each age group, with an external play area where the children can flourish and explore while building a lifelong love of learning.

All age rooms have been designed to be flexible and with good access to the garden (five of the rooms have direct access).

Children in the nursery are well prepared to transition to school with the Ready for School Programme which includes Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians.

All-inclusive fees include all meals, snacks, branded nappies, wipes and creams.

All food is freshly cooked by the on-site chef and is nutritionally balanced.

The nursery is conveniently located on a residential road connecting Solihull to Olton. The nearest train link into central Birmingham is Olton, which is 0.4 miles away with a train journey time of 15 minutes. The nursery is also located close to a good road network and a number of bus routes.

The nursery has dealt with covid extremely well. My son is well settled and the nursery are always reassuring. The management team deals with any issues incredibly efficiently. Having had an older son here too, I would definitely recommend the nursery.

The service provided is exceptional. Communication is second to none and the facilities are outstanding they all work extremely hard and are so friendly. You always feel welcome and informed and the children are in great care.

The Covid-19 measures in place are good. Staff are friendly and always happy to receive children. Communication with families is also good. All being said the nursery is well-led. We have no complaints whatsoever and if you make a complaint they attend to it.

We changed nurseries for my children and they have been fully supported in settling in, the nursery and taken as their own. Bright Horizons Solihull provides an Excellent Service from the staff members to the current manager. With the pandemic around, the manager's communication has been absolutely
amazing. Keeping us informed, up to date and making sure we understand the measure the nursery is putting in place.
Both of my children have learnt so much from the staff members and built a personal connection with each and every one of them. From the activities to learning, my kids have learnt at Bright Horizons Solihull have really set them up when they move onwards to School. We can see such a difference in them over time, telling us what they have learnt from Nursery and the smile on both faces.
It's the staff who make that difference in the kids future! and Bright Horizons Solihull does just that!!!

I've had a wonderful level of service at Bright Horizons from all staff and management that I've been in contact with. My daughter has settled in and is now very excited to come to nursery. Due to lockdown, I was unable to go into the nursery however, I felt at ease at him going to nursery due to the constant communication with all members of staff and receiving pictures of my son's baby area and him enjoying himself.
I am really happy with everyone and the care at the nursery and my
son is always excited to see the girls in the morning.

Would not recommend this nursery. It has been refurbished to a high standard and has a great potential - unfortunately, there are so many issues that need sorting out. The Ofsted report highlights some of them but definitely not all. There is a high staff turnover, the key person would often be off
sick or just not present. Lack of training is so obvious. There is a lack of communication with parents. Nothing is written when kids are picked up. When asked to write handover on the paper on a few occasions wrong information was provided. The menu is very complicated for children. Settling in sessions were short and initially were told will be three but went down to two. There is no handover between staff members, no information seems to be passed on. Nursery manager is not willing to be flexible and solve a problem or provide any option where/if funding is available. The price goes up without any notice. It’s the most expensive nursery in the area where the service and care they provide is far from good.

Our son has been attending part-time for a year now and has loved every minute. As soon as we are able we will be extending his hours. The staff have been both caring and diligent. We always get a rundown of his days and it's obvious the staff both enjoy and takes pride in getting to know the children
and helping them with their development. There is always a warm friendly atmosphere and our son always looks forward to attending.

I am so impressed with this nursery. From day one, all the staff have shown outstanding care and attention to the children and the adults who bring them.
The parents' room is a great idea - you can even have a cuppa.
My grandson has made a strong bond with his key worker and will always go to her
for reassurance.
We enjoyed the Christmas arts and crafts. Thank you.

My son started nursery here in October when he was 1 and a half. From our first visit, all of the staff were so professional and welcoming. A member of staff took us around and we knew this was the place for our son. All of the staff have made his settling in an easy process and he has really bonded
with his key worker.

My son is thriving at this nursery. The staff are so supportive and understanding of his needs and go out of their way to help him grow in confidence. Nothing is too much for the staff. It is clear that their priority is the children. My son is so happy here. The nursery itself is also very well designed,
with large rooms for all age groups. Each room has fantastic resources and the garden area outside is the icing on the cake.

Bright Horizons Solihull has been a breath of fresh air. After struggling to find a nursery in the area that appealed we finally came across this one and couldn't be more thrilled. Kerry has been at Bright Horizons Solihull Nursery, where she has been nurturing young minds since September 2018 after relocating to the area.


With a passion for early childhood education that began the day she left school, Kerry has devoted her career to the development and well-being of young children.


Every day at the nursery brings new challenges and opportunities, which Kerry finds incredibly rewarding. She takes great joy in watching the children develop over time, knowing she has played a significant part in their growth.
