Bright Horizons Solihull Day Nursery and Preschool offers seven individual home-bases tailored to each age group, with an external play area where the children can flourish and explore while building a lifelong love of learning.

All age rooms have been designed to be flexible and with good access to the garden (five of the rooms have direct access).

Children in the nursery are well prepared to transition to school with the Ready for School Programme which includes Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians.

All-inclusive fees include all meals, snacks, branded nappies, wipes and creams.

All food is freshly cooked by the on-site chef and is nutritionally balanced.

The nursery is conveniently located on a residential road connecting Solihull to Olton. The nearest train link into central Birmingham is Olton, which is 0.4 miles away with a train journey time of 15 minutes. The nursery is also located close to a good road network and a number of bus routes.

Fantastic nursery. Staff always friendly, polite and helpful.

I am so impressed with this nursery. From day one, all the staff have shown outstanding care and attention to the children and the adults who bring them.
The parents' room is a great idea - you can even have a cuppa.
My grandson has made a strong bond with his key worker and will always go to her
for reassurance.
We enjoyed the Christmas arts and crafts. Thank you.

My son started nursery here in October when he was 1 and a half. From our first visit, all of the staff were so professional and welcoming. A member of staff took us around and we knew this was the place for our son. All of the staff have made his settling in an easy process and he has really bonded
with his key worker.
Just amazing, you have helped my son come on so much. Recommend this nursery to all parents. Thank you.

My son is thriving at this nursery. The staff are so supportive and understanding of his needs and go out of their way to help him grow in confidence. Nothing is too much for the staff. It is clear that their priority is the children. My son is so happy here. The nursery itself is also very well designed,
with large rooms for all age groups. Each room has fantastic resources and the garden area outside is the icing on the cake.

Bright Horizons Solihull has been a breath of fresh air. After struggling to find a nursery in the area that appealed we finally came across this one and couldn't be more thrilled. With unbelievably caring staff with nurture at the core of their beliefs, our two children have settled quickly and now
look forward to their nursery days.

My child attended for a short period of time, however within that period of time Jacob really enjoyed his time in rising two's, the facilities are fabulous and the outdoor area is very spacious with an amazing climbing area. The menu is nutritious and of a wide variety.
I would highly recommend Bright

Fantastic nursery. We moved from a different nursery and our son is so much happier here. Bright Horizons Solihull Day Nursery and Preschool has excellent facilities and the staff are so caring. I would like to see a few more organised craft activities but that is the only thing I can think of to improve.
The outdoor space is amazing and the catering seems tasty and nutritious.

Both my children (aged 1 and 2 years) have settled in well to Bright Horizons, they both enjoy going and I enjoy hearing about their busy day full of play and activities.
The 7.30 - 18.30 opening hours suit my long working days and the spacious car park makes drop off and pick up easy.
The nursery
is bright, clean and well equipped with good outdoor space. Both children enjoy the healthy meals and snacks and both are making lots of friends. They are making good progress with their speech and other developmental milestones and are well supported in their learning. Each week I am treated to a new nursery rhyme learnt while at nursery.

Fantastic - from day 1 I have been more than happy to leave my daughter here.
The staff are very knowledgeable, attentive and so good with my little one. Even after she has an unsettled few weeks (due to illness) she came as though she had never been away.
This shows me how happy and settled she
is here, which, as a parent, is all we want when leaving out little ones in someone else's hands.

Really supportive environment and staff. They have worked hard to ensure my child has settled in. Excellent new facilities, the garden is beautiful! Happy overall with the nursery; however, more structured activities would be welcome. There appears to be a lot of free play.

Really pleased with the nursery, facilities and staff. My daughter has settled in nicely and created a bond with staff and management.
Really impressed with how hands-on management staff are. Makes such a difference when both work together.
Happier now rooms are split into age groups. Would like to
hear more activities are done during the day (ie more painting, creative stuff etc).

I find the staff very friendly. My son loves coming and playing. They have helped him be much more confident in himself. The nursery has such a wonderful atmosphere at all times at drop off and pick up. I'm sad to be leaving.

Our daughter was among the first kids registering to Bright Horizons Solihull Day Nursery and Preschool, right after we moved to the UK. It was her first time at a nursery in a new country with a new language. After 2 months, I could say that it was amazing to see her adapt to nursery so quickly. She
loves her teachers, friends and other staff. Thanks to the efforts of the staff, she immediately started to grab words and now she has sentences!
These are my comments for the first months and I believe it will get better each day, as everything is settled. Thank you.

I’ve worked in the childcare sector for 25 years, and from a very young age, I always knew this was the path for me. Creating environments where children can flourish, explore and experience true awe and wonder is what inspires me every day.


I joined Bright Horizons in October 2023, and I’m passionate about leading a setting where children feel safe, excited to learn, and supported to grow in their own unique way. I believe in nurturing strong, trusting relationships with families, and as a mum of two adult children myself, I really understand what it feels like to see your child through a parent’s eyes in a nursery environment.


I’m proud of the work we do as a team, and I’m committed to ensuring that every child who walks through our doors feels valued, encouraged and given the best possible start.

Kerry has been at Bright Horizons Solihull Nursery, where she has been nurturing young minds since September 2018, after relocating to the area.


With a passion for early childhood education that began the day she left school, Kerry has devoted her career to the development and well-being of young children.

She takes great joy in watching the children develop over time, knowing she has played a significant part in their growth.
