Children 1st Birstall Nursery School

My daughter and son both go to Children 1st Day Nursery. They absolutely love it. Staff are amazing, polite, professional and happy. Always supported with the development of my children. Fabulous facilities, love the themed reading room.

I wish I had sent him to this nursery sooner.

My child goes to the nursery and she loves it! She learns something new every day and the staff are encouraging. The facilities outdoors are good and lots of different play areas for children to explore in.

We would highly recommend.

Children 1st @ Birstall have been an amazing nursery to our daughter. She joined the nursery when she was only 1 year old all the way to now where she is about to start primary school. All the staff at the nursery seem very friendly and make the child and parents feel very welcome. Our daughter loves her nursery days. The management staff have been so helpful. Their style and promptness of handling queries/replying to emails etc. really suits a busy mum like me! I highly recommend Children 1st @ Birstall to others. Thank you to all the staff for ongoing hard work and help with my little one's early years journey.

My daughter has attended Children's 1st @ Birstall Day Nursery since she was 13 months old. She has loved every single second of it and is just starting her journey into big school as the youngest in the year but thanks to all the incredible staff I feel that she is more than ready and capable to take on that journey. My son also attends this nursery and was a very shy boy with severe attachment issues (thanks lockdown) but has currently been there for around four months and has massively come out of his shell and is becoming a very independent and confident child! I would always recommend Childrens 1st to anyone I speak to!

My child attended Children 1st @ Birstall Day Nursery since he was 9 months old. It’s such a lovely nursery; welcoming and clean. He was well looked after and cared for by the staff. The staff engaged with him and always had fun and interactive activities set up for the day. If ever there was a problem or query, the management team were willing to help and responded promptly. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending the nursery to other parents.

I love this nursery! The staff are really kind and friendly, you can see they really care about the children! Both my children settled in well and that’s due to the team there and the great facilities! They are really helpful when I have worries or questions. They have helped me swap days in emergencies! I am a key worker therefore my kids had to keep attending during the pandemic and don’t know how I would have got through this time without them! Thank you for everything you do for me and my children!

My daughter started in April 2021 and has loved it. I am satisfied when I drop her off because she happily goes in without any issues. My daughter has developed so much in confidence around other kids and adults. Staff are lovely and approachable. I get clear feedback of how my daughter’s day has been. The menu is good and encourages the children to experience varied food textures.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Children 1st Birstall, specifically the manager and staff for supporting us as a family and supporting our child. To start, we moved back towards the end of 2019 and the manager happily welcomed us back and my child was very happy and settled back in nicely. Than last year I was diagnosed with a rare type of breast cancer and through out my treatment and on going condition, the staff at the nursery really supported us in looking after and supporting our child. I really don’t have more words, we really thank you and appreciate your support, from the bottom of our hearts. What a fantastic job you all are doing and not forgetting the pandemic and how supportive you all have been. Once again, thank you very much and I would definitely recommend this nursery. We see so many good changes in our son, so thank you very much for all the efforts. Please continue and keep up with what you are doing so fantastically, all the best for the future.

Great nursery, staff are good and friendly, my son loves going and since going he has really developed, and lots of things to do. My second child is to attend this nursery and would definitely recommend to anyone.

My daughter started in September 2020, the staff and management have been brilliant at helping her to settle into nursery during such strange times. The setting is amazing and secure. When we pick our daughter up, we are always told about her day and although we can't enter the nursery at the moment, it is still clear to see the staff have formed a great bond with my daughter. We receive regular photos of our daughter's progress and the activities that she does. I would highly recommend Children 1st at Birstall to anyone.

Fantastic Nursery! All the staff and management are great. The nursery has been brilliant for our Son and we have really seen him develop during his time here. A really interactive and forward thinking nursery where they really have the childs best interest at heart and really want to see the children grow. The staff at this nursery are wonderful. They are always in good spirits when I drop off and pick up my children. They listen and act on discussions that I’ve had about my children’s care and most of all my children are happy in their environment. Would highly recommend!

Highly recommended, fantastic nursery! The staff are friendly, welcoming and make it a lovely place for my daughter to play, learn and develop. My son was also at the nursery and I can say the nursery has played a significant part in giving him the best start before school.

All the staff are amazing, and our kids absolutely love all of them, from the management, teachers, cleaners and chefs. Our kids love going to nursery and their development improves weekly. We are so happy that our little ones are in an amazing place whilst we have to work and we have so much respect for all the staff. They work so hard but make it look easy, they are amazing.

After a lot of research and consultation, we eventually chose this as our preferred nursery. Thankfully it is not a decision we have regretted. Staff were very reassuring during the first few days when our son struggled to adjust to the new settings. After the settling in period, his caseworkers remain supportive. This in turn has helped our son gain more confidence. The daily reports are detailed as are key highlights of the day. Most of all, it's knowing that we can ring anytime for an update whilst also being able to discuss any concerns.
