Children 1st Birstall Nursery School

This nursery is amazing. My child has settled really well, and the staff are really helpful. We know our child is happy there because he is happy when we pick him up. The nursery is clean and spacious. We like how the rooms are connecting the baby room to the toddler room, so settling is much better.

Our child has been attending Children 1st Birstall since she was 1 year old. She has gained a lot of confidence over the years. The staff are fantastic at their job. Our child loves attending nursery due to the fun, learning and caring environment everyone at Children 1st Birstall provide. We couldn't ask for a better nursery.

My daughter has been at Birstall Children 1st since she was 10 months old - she graduates to school this month. She has had a wonderful time, always felt safe and secure. The staff are fantastic and work really well together. We have found the management team have always been responsive and on the ball, very happy to address any issues straightaway. I would have no qualms recommending this nursery to other parents - it’s been everything a parent could want for their child.

Children's 1st in my opinion is the best nursery in the area. I am aware of it is the most expensive but I believe you are paying for the facilities. I have used the nursery in Birstall for over 5 years and have seen significant changes. The facilities are amazing and the structure of play on a daily basis is rewarding to my child. Food is great and many of the team seem well engaged in my child's development. The staffing is constantly changing and this could have a negative impact on the younger ones needing to make a connection but I am sure this will be an issue with many nurseries. The use of apps to show how the child is getting on is great and should be utilized more (daily photos and insight would be appreciated). It is not clear what the plan is for my child and what they are learning.

We are really happy with Children 1st at Birstall. My daughter started in the baby room at 11 months and is now just about to 'graduate' to go to school in September. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the children have lots of interesting activities to do and high quality toys. The facilities are really good with a nice outdoor space. The management team are also visible, friendly and helpful. Genuinely recommended.

My two-and-a-half-year-old daughter has been going here since she was age one and I love this nursery and the staff are brilliant. Whenever there is an issue the management team always get it resolved. The staff are friendly and my daughter is very happy. The facilities are clean and my daughter is learning a lot and has developed so much. The staff give her cuddles and the standards are high. I also love the app to check up on her. The outside space is lovely too. The staff and the management team make it what it is.

Children's 1st Nursery is exceptional! Carers and staff are warm, knowledgeable and dedicated. They are very accommodating to our child's needs; this includes dietary requirements as we are a vegan family. Our child has formed strong bonds with each carer as she's progressed from room to room. The nursery is clean and has well-maintained facilities. Our child receives excellent care and is part of their family. Highly recommend!

My child absolutely loves going to nursery and this says a lot to me that she's in the best environment where she loves to be with caring staff and her friends.

The staff at Children 1st @ Birstall are extremely nurturing and have a really close bond with both of my children that attend the nursery. My daughter, who is in the early years, is always playing nursery at home and pretends to be the staff that support her daily! They are true positive role models for her. I know that my children are well looked after and that means so much when they spend so much time there! All staff know them by name and take time to talk to them when they see us in the corridor or climbing the stairs! A wonderful team! Thank you for all you do!

Lovely, caring staff. My son has settled in very well at nursery from the beginning, even when transitioning between the different rooms. My son enjoys going to nursery which makes it easier for me as a parent knowing he is having a good time there. The nursery also carries out many different activities providing the kids with an opportunity to do many different things. The food provided at the nursery is also varied allowing my son to try different foods. So far I have had a good experience with the nursery and would recommend it to other parents.

This is a great nursery with lovely staff that look after your children really well. It is nice and clean and the different rooms allow the children to grow and develop. The staff assist with the development of the children's individual needs such as toilet training.

My daughter loves Children 1st @ Birstall branch, from her key workers to the cleaner, and managers, everyone is just so lovely and my daughter looks forward to going in every day. She constantly surprises me with things she has learnt and having been going there since she was 1, and now in her final year before starting school, I know sending her here has improved her confidence, writing, social skills and love of learning and has made her ready for school, I can't thank the nursery enough. Saying goodbye in the summer will break my daughters heart but her experiences and memories there I know will stay with her and us for a very long time

My daughter loves the staff at Children 1st @ Birstall Day Nursery. She always has a good day and has many kind words to say. I have always had a good experience with the staff and their professionalism.

An absolute brilliant nursery. They are warm, welcoming and always have the children's best interest at heart. They treat all children as individuals and are especially patient with Senco kids. They helped arrange additional funding for my little boy to take him through to primary school. The setting itself is modern and clean. Lovely outdoor space and nice, fresh food served.

I know she is in safe hands at Children’s 1st Day Nursery. There is a wide variety of activities indoors and outdoors. The food menu is diverse and nutritious. Location is great. I would highly recommend this nursery.

I was very nervous about my baby starting a nursery but I would recommend Children 1st to anyone! He has a lovely bond with his key workers and I feel secure knowing he's thriving in a happy, safe environment.

The management are great particularly when it comes to questions all parents would have, reminders and updates. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who has a little one!
